"Staying in the Old City of Jerusalem is such a special experience, and there are very few hotels located there. This place is so charming and has a very special vibe to it. It is a short walk to the Kotel, and it was so close to everything we wanted to visit. The staff was great, and the hotel room and facilities was exactly what we were looking for. Only disappointing thing was the breakfast that was offered, but I think that's mainly due to the war and drop in tourism. I really hope that this summer the tourist industry improves and that people get to visit these charming hotels."

"* WARNING* DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HERE. This place is a run down dump in urgent need of a full refurbishment! 4* Hotel? More like 1* Motel. The room we stayed in was filthy with stains all over carpets and blood, nails and hair under the bed sheets! The wood cladding and grout was mouldy and beds had seen more bottoms then a park bench, making them lumpy and hard. With all this in mind the staff at the desk did their best to help and offered us a refund (Which we took and ran for the hills) If you live in a mud hut this place might just do, but if not AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

It has become my home away from home with the most brilliant staff on the planet who give this already special hotel a beautiful touch. Breakfast in the courtyard is one of life’s simple pleasures — strong Arabic coffee, fresh pastries, and the sound of the fountains mingling with morning conversation. The evenings are equally magical; the bar, with its mix of locals, correspondents, and travelers, feels like a salon of ideas. It’s just magical in every way!"

"I have been a customer of the King David hotel for many years now. While I have also been to other hotels such as the Waldorf and the David Citadel, the service at the King David is unparalleled. From the reservations manager Meirav - who has been exceptionally helpful to my family for many years - to the good and beverage staff, to the waiter staff, the front desk staff, and the bar staff, the service is simply excellent. Yet there is a standout even so. The concierge Jeremy Weiss adds a personal touch and treats you like family. I really cannot say enough about Jeremy and the entire staff."

"I was very disappointed. We paid 3400 NIS for two nights, and the service was terrible. Upon arrival, I specifically asked if there was a Bet Knesset in the hotel, as this was important to us. They assured me there wasn’t one, so I had no choice but to search for one outside. It was pouring rain, and I ended up walking for hours to find a place to pray. To my shock, I later discovered that the hotel actually does have a Bet Knesset, but the staff either didn’t know or didn’t care to inform me. This lack of basic communication and consideration is unacceptable for a hotel that charges such a premium price. It left me feeling stressed, soaked, and deeply dissatisfied. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for thoughtful service or attention to detail"

"We arrived on Friday and it is Shabbat for Jewish People. The hotel have no hot food for dinner from Friday sundown to Saturday all day. Because it is kosher. Breakfast is mainly veggie, salad, cereal, fruit. Egg is being served from Sunday to Thursday. The service in breakfast is below par. People won’t come to refill your coffee unless you flag them down. The service on rooftop restaurant is not good, we waited an hour to get someone to order food and drinks. The location is very good."

"My 5 star review is for several reasons. Arik Snir one of the managers is the main reason for the 5 star review. From the moment my friend and I arrived, Arik treated us like family. Our room was supposed to have two beds. Because housekeeping was short staffed, he followed up with me shortly after I reached the room to make sure that there were two beds. When I told him that the beds had not been seperated, he followed up every 30 minutes with me to make sure that housekeeping took care of it. Everytime Arik saw us, he asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. It felt like we had a big brother watching out for us. When we arrived at the hotel, they had an assortment of dates, nuts, cookies and raisons as well as juice in the lobby for guests. The beds in the rooms were more comfortable than my bed at home. The spread at breakfast was amazing! I plan to stay there again on my next visit to Jerusalem."

"This is not a 5-star hotel. Unfriendly service. Spacious room. Bathroom as well. Average bedding and pillows with only four feathers: a nightmare! Impossible to sleep because of the noise. Cigarette smell in the hallways, therefore in the room. Water leak in the hallway: unpleasant smells and a nuisance. The pool on level -3 matches the photos, but there are a lot of children, so it's not peaceful in the spa. In short, noisy! No rest possible. The breakfast is plentiful and self-service. But the tables are poorly cleaned. A shame."

"I stayed at the hotel this long weekend, unfortunately the hotel does not have a satisfactory arrangement for parking. The parking is privately managed - at least that's what they say, and each entry and exit from the parking lot costs dozens of shekels. For example, I stayed at the hotel for about 4 hours - I was charged 70 shekels, and again, God forbid, the entire trip. Unfortunately, the cost of parking during my stay was more than 300 shekels, which I don't pay in New York... I hope the hotel will get better and change this flawed procedure. Other than that, everything was good.."

"We stayed two nights at the Mt. Scopus suite, on half-baord basis. Everything was perfect, wonderfull culinary selection in both breakfast and dinner, great outdoor and indoor pools and decent-sized jacuzzi. Lobby on the 4th floor is spacious, We are also grateful to Mr. Ibrahim Abedin, Director of customer experience, for making sure that our experience was nothing less than outstanding!"

"i booked this hotel because they offer SPA and POOL i called few days before to book spa treatment fno one got back tome when i arrived at the hotel i was told that the hotel doed not offer spa tretemtn any longer -- but it is still on their web site even now -- i wanted to fo the pool on the web site they say pool i sopen until 18:00 -- i have checked in at 16:50 i was told that they have changed it until 17:00 -- still in their web site it is 18:00---so there was nothing to do to enjoy the hotel , for breakfast they do not have any option fo salads -- only option for 3 kind of eggs that comes with a salads as a side dish , the staff at the hotel especially ADEL at the desk are Friedly helpful and more.."

"The hotel is small, but very convenient both in location and in terms of accommodations. It's four stops from Jerusalem Train Station on bus #18. The Old City is a 7-10-minute walk away, and Jaffa Street with its cafes and shops is a minute away. The rooms are small, and some even offer capsules, but we had a triple room with a bunk bed. The downstairs bed wasn't really a bed—it was a fold-out sofa that had seen better days. In front of it was a large TV with YouTube. We watched it lying down, without folding the sofa, because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to unfold it for sleeping. Since the hotel is located in the basement, our window was small and dirty, purely for ventilation. The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a fan, a TV, another sofa, a low table, a bathroom with a shower, and several lighting options. Water from the shower leaks heavily onto the bathroom floor, so be careful! There's no closet, just a coat rack, so it's difficult to organize your things, but we managed. The hotel has a kitchen with a microwave, stove, hot and cold water dispenser, tables, and chairs—a bit cramped, but comfortable. There's a gym downstairs. There's also a small outdoor area with tables and chairs. It's cozy, with lots of modern art. Towels are exchanged upon request. Recommended for travelers who prefer the outdoors to the inside."

"The hotel has no parking and it is not mentioned. The spa is closed and so is the cove bar. Although, none of it is disclosed upon booking and all are described as part of the hotel facilities. Hotel is nice but overpriced and we were very disappointed with the false advertising. Breakfast was average. Jacuzzi in the room did not work. We took the “suite” which was an average room."

"The location is great inside the old city and view from the top of the hotel are lovely. Free tea or coffee self service available in lounge but no fresh milk but powder alternative. However this is the only positive thing I can write about this hotel after stay here for 2 Night. What do you want from hotels comfortable bed, clean rooms, quiet corridors, a reliable WIFI connection, and other complimentary toiletries? Well you will not get that here. Noise all through out the night and day. You can hear conversation, phones ringing, people running up the stairs and opening/ closing of front door. This places has no soundproofing. Which means you hear everything in the hotel. This resulting in us having everything difficulty falling asleep. The room was not a clean standard and when staff come into clean like which is expected but only cleaning half the room and not locking the room back up. There are no safes in your room so you have to keep everything on you. Also every time I was near or on bed I was continuously feeling itchy. The bed is rock hard with one pillow. They have 2 different WiFi but both however are poor. Always cutting out or unable to connect. Even when connect ever slow. For non-Muslim guests, this means that unmarried couples have to sleep in separate rooms. Which I can respect. The staff were not helpful and come across as rude. Clear preference for cash, which was shown as multiple people were sent to the ATM because of "issues with the credit card". Worst place I have ever stayed, can't recommend. "

"A lot of the hotels are putting in these beautiful, but very impracticable showers with glass enclosures that are only half the length they should be. Even when you’re very careful, the floor outside the shower base is as wet as inside. It’s ridiculous and can cause slipping and falling. This is one such hotel."
