Arrived late in the evening , quick check in and given key to my room. Got to the room , electric wouldn't work and toilet didn't flush. Back to reception , the male receptionist came and sorted the electric out and a temporary toilet fix. Next day both issues were sorted out very quickly. My room was clean and tidy and had everything I expected from a 3 star hotel. The staff I encountered were all courteous and happy to help. The food was ok for me I didn't starve . I enjoyed my stay and have booked to return next year .

3rd floor room facing pool. Tiny balcony which is in need of repair. Not enough hanging space in wardrobe. Very firm beds. Small TV 1 english channel . Kettle provided . Small fridge in room. Bath with a shower which is powerful but if you want a bath it take 35minutes to fill, I kid you not. Towels need replacing as old.and hard so maybe bring your own. Plenty of lighting in room and socket next to beds. Free air con ,we never used so can't review. Safe in wardrobe is 3.50 euro per day. Room cleaned daily Outdoor pool was freezing but it is Feb. Wouldn't use it as it wasn't cleaned whole of our stay and had a film on top of it. Inside pool is filthy dirty and smells . Reported it to receptionist after we used it for 5mins then got out. Small gym area. Lockers but no keys given. Didn't matter as didn't stay . Jacuzzi next to indoor pool kept overflowing to the floor below. Warm but felt that too was dirty so got out. Other review said happy friendly staff, I saw none. They didn't acknowledge you unless you spoke first. Not the best customer service in my opinion. Worst part.. food. We went half.board but ate out mostly . Cold food ,unamingative, plain ,bland. Buffet style ,help yourself as standard . We paid cheap with Easyjet for 4nights so it was doable. Situated up hill near the market / capistrano village urbanisation , a good 30min stroll to Balcon de Europe. 20min walk to bus station/ stops Positives are - Pool area is a sun trap and a nice area to sunbathe and that's about it really. We are all different so maybe this is someone's cup of tea just not ours. We expect a bit better customer service at least. I'd say suitable.for the older generation as not alot going on in the hotel . Think a singer comes a few times a week. Oh and if you.like football there are 7 TV screens in the tiny sports bar adjoined to the hotel.

This was our third visit but it will be the last. It wasn’t a pleasant week partly because of the poor weather but the room was not good at all. Really should be classed as a single room, far too small for two people. Very little storage space, three shelves and a 15 inch wardrobe for clothes, not to mention our suitcases. The door onto the balcony was almost impossible to open, the heating didn’t work or the fan in the bathroom. As most of the time we couldn’t sit out, although we went out each day, we had only one chair or the bed to sit on. We managed to squeeze one of the balcony chairs through the broken door. I’d asked for a quiet room and it was until Friday and Saturday night when the entertainment started. 3 hours of very loud music, so loud I was able to sing along in my head, every note and word. On a positive note, the food was good although breakfast wasn’t so good, coffee the tasted, well it didn’t really, thought it was chocolate at first. Orange cordial instead of real Orange. Dinner was very good for me, excellent salads. Not so sure if you don’t like salad. The staff we had regular contact with were lovely and the hotel itself was very clean and pleasant. Weather aside we won’t be going back.

I appreciate some people go here year after year but we will not be returning. First of all we had to ask for mould to be removed from the bathroom and for the extractor fan to be mended, subsequently found mould behind the curtain, which was also removed. However the biggest issue was the level of noise in the room. On the evenings that the singer performed he might as well have been in our room as it was so loud. There are two vending machines in the foyer that could be heard humming on and off all night. Sounds from the adjoining room were very audible when in their bathroom especially when they were having a shower and being sick at 1am! Also sounds, voices and doors slamming echo down the corridor. The food, although mainly edible was very repetitive. The only milk available at breakfast was longlife skimmed. Didn’t mind the 15 minute walk down to the bus station. The staff on the whole were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was situated in a good place the staff were really friendly and helpful lovely pool area. The room was ok not much space for clothes and I found the beds a little uncomfortable and our room only had a small balcony with not such a good view. We were half board but the meals were only basic and not very warm but even so I would still come back to this hotel as the good points out weighed the bad.

The Paradores is a very good hotel with extensive and well maintained grounds. The waiting and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was a good size and our balcony was great, it even had a roll down canopy. Our bed was very comfortable and the room clean. So why just a four rating. Although clean, the room was very dated. The toilet paper supplied wasn’t up to the standard expected and clearly the cheapest possible! Yes, it’s a small point, but come on Paradore a little upgrade goes a long way!

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS ONCE GREAT HOTEL !!!!!! After the last stay in 2023 , it had sunk to the depths we thought it couldn't go . We've been coming to this hotel for around 15 years and since an owner change a few years ago , it seems with wallpaper hanging off walls, shower broken , the food almost inedible, very poor quality, without taste , and warm, at times cold ) . With groups of Spanish holidaymakers taking over the terrace area's at night , it felt on the verge of intimidation , when they began removing ALL the tables and chairs from the rest of the terrace in order to have a huge party area of very loud and noisy OAPs ( and we Brit say its the teens that are too rowdy ). This happened on a few nights both under the rooved terrace area , and just inside , when the Spanish singer was playing . The hotel management has this thing going , that if you're not happy with your room they will allocate another at a further charge of 10 euros per night EACH . They tried this with me and i stood my ground , after 90 minutes they capitulated and upgraded us to a superior room at NO Charge , the same happened to friends we meet there ,and they paid 160 euros just to get a room that wasn't in the dire need of redecoration . Lastly if you pay for half or full board , make sure you budget extra money for your visits to nearby supermarkets to buy food , when the food quality in the restaurant is so lacking in both quality and taste . ( unless you eat chips every night ) We experienced this around 25 years ago with the Villa Flamenca , that closed , and then reopened after big refurb . After the refurb came a big price hike , that was then taken off the list of hotels by Thomson .
