Yuehe Hotel

The hotel's breakfast, location, and environment are quite good. The hotel is right next to the Yuehe Historic District, which is very lively at night! However, the check-in experience was average. When we arrived at 12:30, our room wasn't ready yet, so we checked our luggage in and left our phone number. The front desk told us they would call us when it was ready. The hotel's Ctrip listing indicated check-in after 2:00 PM, so we wandered around for a bit longer and returned to the hotel at 3:00 PM. We were told they didn't know the exact status of our room and needed to call and confirm with housekeeping first. 😅 They even asked, "What's your room number?" I don't even have a room card, so how can I ask? I wanted another quilt that night, but the front desk told me they might not have any extra quilts because they were all booked. 🙃🙃🙃 The location and restaurant are perfect for a weekend getaway, but I suggest the hotel improve the check-in experience and room facilities.

I just visited here in early July, and this time I was passing through Jiaxing. Initially, I was late to book the room I wanted, but then I subscribed to a notification that it was available on Saturday morning. I canceled my other hotel reservation and booked it instantly, which was a great start to the day! As always, I'm very satisfied. I just wish the Yuebo River View Terrace Rooms would have a 1.5" + 1.2" bed combination so I could have a more comfortable sleep with my kids!

The room was upgraded to a family suite, which was very comfortable. The environment was beautiful, the style was upscale, and the breakfast was plentiful! Yuehe Street nearby is very fun, especially at night.

This Jiaxing stay was truly beyond expectation! I hadn't had high expectations, but upon arrival, I was completely captivated by the scenery. The place itself felt like it was tucked away in a Jiangnan water town. Opening the window, I could see the view, and within a short walk, I could admire the charming scenery of flowing water and small bridges. Not only was it convenient for daytime scenic spots, but the tranquility at night was truly relaxing. The service was truly heartwarming. Since I was traveling with children, the staff proactively upgraded me to a quieter room and were incredibly patient and attentive throughout the entire process. I must commend Xiaoguo, our waiter, for her prompt and attentive response to all my daily needs. She was always helpful, always answering every question, and her attitude was friendly and professional, making me feel like a friend. The room itself was also spotless, with comprehensive and functional amenities, making for a truly comfortable stay. The dining experience was a pleasant surprise! The breakfast was plentiful, homely, and delicious, a perfect start to the day. The complimentary porridge in the evening was a heartwarming and thoughtful touch. The biggest surprise was their yakitori meal for two, only 98 yuan. Each skewer was perfectly grilled to a crispy exterior and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. It was a satisfying and satisfying meal for two, and the value for money was incredible. Overall, from the ambiance to the service and dining, I couldn't fault it. It was a truly enjoyable experience. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Jiaxing.
