JJonesJasonI've been in many hotels around the world, it's hard to beat this one. I live on top of a shopping mall, on floor 20. I don't need to go outside for anything, unless I want to. Staff is awesome, especially my cleaning lady. She is not judgemental, even when I puke in my bed when I was too drunk. She still gives the best, kind service. She's awesome!

The hotel's strategic location near Jinan Railway Station and its accessibility to public transportation were major advantages. This made exploring the city a breeze, and I appreciated the convenience it added to my trip.
One of the standout features was the culinary experience. The on-site dining options offered a diverse range of delectable dishes, leaving my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. Although the absence of coffee was noted, the rich variety of other beverage options more than compensated for it.
The toilet facilities were not only pristine but also surprisingly innovative. The sound-proof design allowed for a private and serene experience, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The added touch of background music created a unique ambiance, transforming the bathroom into a personal concert space.
I must commend the receptionists for their exceptional hospitality. Their welcoming demeanor and willingness to assist with any inquiries added a warm touch to the overall stay. It was evident that the staff was dedicated to ensuring guests felt comfortable and well taken care of.

GGuest UserEnvironment: It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Laotun subway station, which is very convenient.
Hygiene: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and you can see that it is cleaned frequently.
I soaked in the bathtub after a tiring day, which was very comfortable 😌, and I felt that every pore was taken care of.
Service: I checked in at almost 11 o'clock in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and not impatient at all.
When I entered the room, I saw the prepared snacks. People who like to eat midnight snacks said it was very heartwarming 🥰
Facilities: The do not disturb function in the room is really great. I can sleep until the sun rises the next day. It's really great.
Once the curtains are drawn, no one loves them. The airtightness is great.
When I left, the souvenirs I was given included masks. Tears welled up in my eyes🥹. I didn't expect there would be so many catkins in Jinan when I came here, so I didn't prepare them. I didn't expect the hotel to be so considerate and prepare them. When I arrived near Baotu Spring, there were as many catkins as the wind. Thanks to the hotel for providing them😷🥳
I will come to this hotel again next time I come to Jinan. The bed is very comfortable and everything is great. I don't want to leave😋

As a four-diamond hotel certified by Ctrip, the Metropark Hotel in Shandong CPPCC Building does give people some expectations when they first see it. The clear and transparent water quality of the swimming pool area is amazing. In the hot summer season, it is like a pool of clear spring water that penetrates into the heart and becomes the most unforgettable highlight of this stay. But after an in-depth experience, the gap between hardware facilities and service details casts a shadow of regret on this expectation.
2. Guest Room
When checking in at the front desk, the staff suggested that I pay to upgrade the room type. But I was disappointed after opening the door. This misleading upgrade strategy makes people question whether the rating criteria are limited to the price dimension.
The gym benefits from ample space, but its facilities are rudimentary.
3. Serving Temperature
The hotel service continues the Shandong people's inherent humility and courtesy, and everyone from the doorman to the cleaning staff always maintains a decent smile. But the breakfast restaurant's offerings reveal a lack of depth in service: a 3.8-star rating is probably enough - the homely flavor of the Jianbing Guozi certainly suits northern stomachs, but the dry and hard bread and bland salads in the pastry section are hard to match the quality pursuit of a business hotel.
The gift from the front desk when I left the hotel brought a touch of warmth, but after opening the simple packaging, the nondescript plastic-wrapped snack was like a basin of cold water that extinguished the accumulated goodwill. If this thoughtfulness is replaced by the hotel's homemade cakes or special cultural and creative products, it may be able to better convey the warmth of ”feeling at home”.
Admittedly, the meticulous maintenance of the swimming pool and the polite attitude of the staff are worthy of recognition, but as a mid- to high-end business hotel, Metropark Hotel still needs to improve in three dimensions:
A transparent mechanism should be established for room upgrades to avoid using ambiguous words to undermine guests’ trust
Breakfast categories should take into account regional characteristics and balanced quality to meet the needs of diverse customer groups
Customized souvenirs can become a brand memory point, making the departure mood a perfect ending

GGuest UserOur traveling party of 5 booked 2 rooms. Although our daughters are now grown-up, they enjoyed the family theme, with toys, a small rocking horse (and foam carpet to protect young kids in case of a fall) and cute pillow case and blanket cover - perfect for families with young kids too (the bed is normal size, so teenagers can use it too, without a problem). Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was welcoming and helpful. This is ”the only table tennis themed hotel in China”, so if you want to practice, you can bring your equipment, tables are there, waiting for you (in fact, the National team came to train here). The buffet breakfast was huge, and with multiple food options to satisfy both Western and Chinese tastes. Access from the airport was convenient, a 1-hr bus ride to across the road, and right next to the hotel to go back to Jinan airport, but do check the timing because it seems like every hour or so only. Baotu spring is a 10-15min walk away, so it's a decent location to explore the city too. We will certainly book this hotel for a future Jinan holiday !
