Hotels in Danga Bay, Johor Bahru

The lady receptionist(based on her accent, probably she is a filipino) is very kind, helpful and friendly . I saw her working alone on all the 3 wkdays that i was there .. She truly deserved a praise because she is independent and hardworking by working alone on her shift, even though it wasnt very busy during wkdays but during school holiday season, it can be slightly busy for her .. Thank you for your hard work ! 👍 The room is spacious, clean and feels home . Amenities in room are sufficient but i wish there is a microvewave in this room because there is space to put one and im sure it would be helpful for guests especially to reheat our leftover foods .. Please consider this . 🥲 And the room slippers are too thin that my feet can feel the floor when walking to the lobby/pool, so i think need to improve on that . Everything else is fine . Location is also fine even if you dont drive .. There is a mall opp road of the hotel- the mall have a supermarket and some food shops/restaurants . The concierge/security and pool staffs are also kind and helpful .. 👍 The pool is great and with 2 water slides that both adults and kids can enjoy . There are many chairs and tables for guests to put our things while going for a swim but i think its time to repair the stairs especially on the white slide and also some flooring around the slides because there are broken tiles/holes that may cause injury . To the management, please take serious note on this, bfore any accident happen .. I dropped my spect while swimming and couldnt find it and i asked help from the pool staff . The next day when i went to checked with him, he said he had passed it to the reception . I thanked him and went to collect it . He also deserved a praise because he really went the extra mile to help . Thank you ! 👍 Overall, its been a great stay here . Will be back again next time . We spent 5days4nights at this hotel due to impromptu trip so most of the nice hotels are fully booked so I couldn't book any other hotels so just choose to tune hotel. The room is super small, no toothbrush toothpaste, shower gel, slipper etc. But there is water dispenser in the lobby so still convenient to refill water. The channel of the tv are blurry and the 2nd night the aircon was down, hotel staff offer change to another room to sleep but we couldn't leave our children in the connecting room. So we suffered whole night. Overall still good to stay as there is a free car park not like other budget hotel which no car park at all. But the hotel room looked a bit old but the bed still comfortable to sleep.

The location is close to many eateries. Beletime Mall is right next to Country Garden, offering options like Mamak, Aeon, Mr. DIY, Marrybrown, and more. The apartment 2307 we stayed in was very clean and had Wi-Fi facilities. However, the noise from the nearby road was quite loud.

I enjoyed my stay here. The bedroom are clean, the wifi strength is good, the location had many restaurant & shops around, the pool is amazing, and the online receptionist is very sweet and genuine. However, the sofa is very dirty with body fluid stain marks, which is quite gross. The apartment also does not provide adequate toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, or additional towels / toilet rolls, which is quite problematic if you are booking for a longer stay, as you will have to purchase all the missing toiletries and bathroom accessories yourself. The check-in / checkout location is also quite distanced from the apartment, and the checkout timing is quite harsh at 11am, which makes the booking non-ideal for short term stays.

The apartment was serviced by Lions Bay, the office is near to the apartment. Instructions given to collect key was easy to follow and clear, packing near the office not as easy due to many cars parked along the side walk. The view was awesome. Very home feel. Tv set came with Netflix, great entertainment for the kids!

The room is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, the food court downstairs is not expensive, it's quite good. Especially Xiao Chen who received me was both considerate and professional, very good!

I originally booked a room with full sea view for two nights, but because I arrived very late, the room I booked was no longer available. I changed it to a three-room room with half sea view, and the equipment was relatively old. I had to walk around so late. After some reasoning, I just got a better three-bedroom sea view, but of course it's not as good as the full sea view I originally requested. But it's too late and too tired. I don't want to argue. The other problems are not big, I just want to book it. The full sea view is gone. Secondly, the transportation here is inconvenient. It is best to have a car or grab a car to get there.

Booked last min as we had an emergency in jb …we had a great stay at the apartment,it was really clean and comfortable…just that we had to wait for 2.5hrs as was told the apartment was not ready however they gave us a late check out to make up for the late check in .Overall we give 9.5 for this stay and plan to book again next time.
