Chajka Hotel

This hotel stayed from 05.11 to 07.11. In general, not bad, but there are some points to be paid attention. I took the room for three days, I needed early check-in and late check-out. I called in advance, the girl administrator began to tell me that ”there after you guests should come ...,” but then we decided with time and the amount You pay half of the daily stay, although in fact you are not 12 hours over the place, and six. In fact, the amount was even more than I was announced by the phone. The fire alarm worked at the hotel at night. All the guests went out on the first floor excited. No information, the services concerned are not called, people were asked to leave the building. After some staff member went around the hotel and found nothing, the administrator didn't even call back people from the street. On the question ”What happened?” she replied: ”Someone smoked in the room.” We do not smoke, but we did not warn us about it at the check-in. The toilet paper had to ask ... I think if you change the administrators, the hotel will become more hospitality.
Mayak Hotel
4.4/55 Reviews
The hotel is located rather outside the center (still well accessible both by car and public transport). On the outside it looks rather like a youth hostel in an apartment block, but inside it is a regular hotel. Simple, yes, but clean, with spacious rooms (I booked a standard room but it seems), clean and comfortable (the bed was rather soft). Service was good, no problems with late night check-in. Parking available on the side of the hotel. It seems that the establishment caters to groups of students, sport teams, etc., but at no time there was any nuisance, noise or inconvenience. The hotel, while simple, still gets an excellent notice, especially that the price was very convenient, in particular in exchange for what it offers for such a v e r y reasonable amount of money. The hotel offers breakfast for an additional small charge, but we had no occasion to try it.
Tourist Hotel

My stay here was good. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent with some variations from day to day. A mix of Russian and continental. Wifi sometimes did not work well. Otherwise a nice place to stay for a few days. The city centre is about a 25-30 minute walk away, but taking the route along the river means it is a lovely little stroll leading you directly to the Amber museum and more.
Paraiso Hotel
4.5/515 Reviews
Paraiso's guest house is quite far from the center, although I have not really understood what is considered to be the center of Kaliningrad. To the Z fort/central market fort about 25 minutes walk. To the island of Kanta - probably about an hour. We had a standard room, quite small, very clean, in 5 days changed the underwear and towels once. Big plus - a refrigerator in the room, a cooler in the common zone. Breakfast is quite ordinary for my taste, the delights of previous reviews can't be shared. I want to note the rather outdated situation of the corridors, where the carpet is cleaned every day, but there is no sense of cleanliness and freshness. In the common area of the 1 floor corridors there are many forests that need to be overcome, even if you need to just walk the floor from the room to the couler, for example. There are sold dirty chairs on the covered veranda, the feeling that cleaning is not done at all, but could be quite a cozy place. Also one of the girls on the respiratory could be a little more benign.

Very satisfied!
Hotel Kaiserhof
4.4/542 Reviews
The hotel stays by the river, the scenery is beautiful, and it is close to the attractions. Hotel room is good, service is good, breakfast is good. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is cost-effective. The restaurant that eats breakfast is quaint and enjoyable.
