The hotel facilities are quite old, with frayed towels, and the overall experience doesn't live up to a five-star standard; it felt more like a guesthouse. The bed was narrow, even worse than the transit hotel provided by the airline previously. The front desk staff weren't very familiar with transportation information; they didn't know about the direct bus service from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Macau Port to the restricted area of Hong Kong Airport, which doesn't require entering Hong Kong. For a hotel in a tourist city, the staff could definitely improve their knowledge of transport details. On the plus side, the location is great, not far from Senado Square, and within walking distance.
The room wasn't clean at all. There was a used cotton pad stuck to the mirror. One of the sinks in the room was clogged and wouldn't drain.

The main issue: it was advertised as a 'sea-view family room,' but in reality, you could only see a tiny sliver of 'sea' if you leaned sideways on the balcony (see photos). Forget about the Macau Tower – all you could see was the other half of the hotel building. This was a huge disappointment! I called the front desk to ask if we could switch rooms, and they said all the sea-view family rooms are in this exact spot on each floor, so the view from every room is pretty much the same... It felt like a complete rip-off.

The room had poor soundproofing; you could clearly hear noise from the hallway and the room next door, which disturbed our sleep. The shopping mall downstairs had very few shops and nothing worth browsing.
I've stayed here countless times, it's my top pick for value for money! Although it's been open for many years, the hygiene is still good! You can take the bus across to the Sands, and it's very close to the Science Center and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre. There are also plenty of food options nearby! It's such great value for money! The only downside is the breakfast; they only offer free breakfast for a child if two adults are present. For someone like me, whose husband doesn't eat breakfast, it's not very cost-effective to pay for my child, especially since they only eat a few bites.
I requested a high-floor, quiet room, but despite being upgraded to a sea view, I was given a low-floor room right next to a noisy fan. The booming sound kept me awake almost all night until I switched rooms. There's an old street across the road with plenty of dining options, which is convenient. However, the buses outside are always packed, making it almost impossible to get on; you'll have to rely on walking or taking a taxi. The room had a slightly damp smell. If you're looking to shop, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Facilities: Good, the doorknob was a creative touch.
Hygiene: The amenity box had a slight odor.
Environment: Nice, with a large sea view.
Service: Good.
Hotel shuttle bus: Convenient for going to The Venetian.
Overall, it's very good value for money and you can book with confidence.
Excellent location, very thoughtful service, and the staff were incredibly quick to resolve any issues in the room! The room itself was clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy, with great soundproofing that allowed for a wonderful lie-in. The breakfast was abundant and delicious 😋
This hotel is located on the southeast side of Macau Peninsula's old town, close to the sea. The rooms, lobby, and hallways are all luxurious and grand, with golden decorations and a magnificent golden dragon coiling around the dome. It's a 4-star luxury hotel that feels more like a 5-star. The guest rooms are quite spacious, and during Chinese New Year, they provided complimentary drinks and snacks, which was a nice touch. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it convenient to get to many popular tourist attractions. For food, there are plenty of traditional eateries offering Portuguese egg tarts, pork chop buns, Portuguese and Hong Kong-style cafes, and old family-run shops, all with excellent flavors. On the morning of the eighth day of Chinese New Year, when I checked out, the female manager at the front desk, dressed in a black suit, proactively asked about my airport transfer and helped me call a taxi. She also informed me about the estimated fare, and when she learned I didn't have small change, she kindly exchanged some MOP for me. The taxi arrived quickly, and two male bellhops helped me put my luggage in the trunk. The manager even came to the hotel entrance to remind me not to forget my luggage when getting off and waved goodbye. Her genuine and enthusiastic service was truly exceptional. A thoroughly satisfying stay and experience.
The room was excellent: spacious, clean, bright, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there were no issues with the room itself or the comfort of the stay.
However, the level of welcome was completely inconsistent with the hotel's standard and price.
First, they required a deposit upon check-in. This seems odd for a hotel of this category, especially since they simply refuse to let you in without one.
Second, check-in is only until 3:00 PM. For me, that's quite late—I travel a lot, and at hotels of this caliber, I often find more flexible or early check-in.
Overall, the room itself and the accommodations were very good, but the check-in process left a bad impression.
This hotel has a charming European retro style, complete with Portuguese-inspired tiles and vintage telephones.
The room layout is a bit compact, but it's very clean.
The location is fantastic, right next to major attractions. There's a Guandi Temple downstairs and the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau across the street. It's a 10-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, Na Tcha Temple, Macau Museum, and Mount Fortress, and about a 20-minute walk to Grand Lisboa Hotel and other spots.
The service was friendly.
I really appreciated the complimentary mini-bar (one per stay) with free snacks and drinks. A special highlight was enjoying the night view from the rooftop with a free drink – it was incredibly romantic and truly wonderful!
Everything was pretty good, including the cleanliness and environment. The only thing I found a bit hard to understand was the deposit situation; they don't accept electronic payments. I really think they should clearly state the deposit amount and payment methods (cash or credit card) prominently on the homepage. I didn't notice this when booking and ended up not having enough cash on hand.

AAiyumengfeixingTraveling to Macau with kids, this hotel's recreational facilities are simply amazing. You can literally spend an entire day here without stepping out, making it perfect for both couples and families. Don't miss the iconic Golden Reel, an 8-shaped Ferris wheel built into the hotel's architecture. It offers 360-degree panoramic views of Macau, and when the lights come on at night, it's incredibly romantic. The hotel also boasts a large, heated water park, perfect for all seasons, complete with slides and a wave pool – a true paradise for family fun. Beyond that, there's a cinema, shopping mall, gym, the WET heated pool, and a spa. If you're tired from exploring, the spa is a great place to relax. In the evening, the poolside is perfect for photoshoots – every shot looks like it's from a magazine! And to top it off, you can enjoy a drink at the bar with stunning night views. Absolutely delightful!
My favorite part was that getting around by car was super convenient, haha!
AAnonymous UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, with a shopping mall right downstairs – it's no exaggeration to say you could shop 'til you drop! The dining options are also incredibly varied. The beds are comfortable, the price is reasonable, and overall, it offers fantastic value for money. Even though it's newly renovated, there's no strong odor in the room, and the decor feels high-quality. My only minor regret is the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway, likely because some rooms are designated for smokers, which is understandable given the hotel's location in **area**. Oh, and a nice touch: staff brought my luggage to the room beforehand, which was a great experience!
CChrisChen1029The L'Occitane en Provence hotel is located on the 11th and 12th floors of The Parisian Macao building. Our room, 1216, offered a view of the East Asian Games Dome, with about two-thirds of the Eiffel Tower visible from the window. The stay included breakfast for two days. On the first day, we chose the Ice Room, and while there were many options, the food quality wasn't great. On the second day, we went to Angelina, which offers a Western-style breakfast that I personally preferred.
The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. There aren't many public transport options directly outside the hotel, with only the T435 'Skating Road / The Parisian Macao' bus route available. It's about a 700-800 meter walk to the nearest Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station.
VvÖyjx TravelWe really enjoyed our stay at House of Art and would definitely stay here again.
The location is extremely convenient—the bus stop is literally right outside the hotel door, making it very easy to get around Macau. The surrounding streets are lined with restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, so food and essentials are always within walking distance.
The hotel itself feels classy yet very modern. Rooms are hi-tech and thoughtfully designed, with universal power outlets, mood lighting, smart switches, and a beautiful, well-equipped bathroom with toiletries provided. The bed and bedding were especially comfortable, and the pillows were great, which really helped after long days out.
A few things to manage expectations: night reception staff had limited English, the Smart TV is very limited (no Netflix, HBO Max, Prime, or YouTube—mostly Chinese channels, and casting only works on Android), and the internet was quite slow.
Overall, still a solid and stylish 3-star hotel with excellent location and comfort. Best for travelers who prioritize convenience, design, and easy transport access over streaming and fast Wi-Fi.
DDongshengAlthough the hotel looks a bit old, it offers good value for money and is clean and tidy. The service is also decent. The breakfast is simple, but it met my basic needs. It's very close to the MTR station and Rua da Cunha, and right opposite Galaxy Macau, which is convenient for concerts.
GGuest UserFacilities: The bathroom door in our room was a bit old, but everything else was great.
Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job, very clean.
Environment: Very good, almost no strange smells or trash.
Service: The hotel staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, not perfunctory at all, and actively helped with directions.
Eiffel Tower 7th floor free entry: Although you can't go to the very top, there's a Pop Mart photo spot on the 7th floor.
AAnonymous UserThe location is incredibly convenient. It's a straightforward 15-minute walk from the Border Gate straight to the hotel.
It's been so long since I stayed in a Macau hotel, and they still require a deposit? And it's 2025, yet the hotel doesn't accept electronic payments? My world just fell apart! I didn't bring my credit card, sobbing... In the end, I had no choice but to pay cash. Seriously, you really need to read the fine print when booking a room.
This stay included breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 AM. There's one area for the buffet and another for à la carte dim sum (self-funded). The food selection is decent, and it looks presentable, but the taste is on the blander side, haha. Overall, the value for money is pretty good.
TTravel with JacquesI had a truly enjoyable stay at the Grand Lisboa. The hotel’s iconic design immediately sets the tone grand, unique, and full of character. The interior feels just as impressive, with a sense of classic luxury that makes the whole experience memorable.
A special thank‑you to the team for offering us an upgrade. This thoughtful gesture made a huge difference to our stay. The upgraded room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a great view that added to the overall enjoyment. It genuinely elevated the entire experience and made our time at the hotel feel even more special.
Service throughout the stay was warm and attentive. The staff were helpful, polite, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and well‑managed.
The location is excellent convenient for exploring Macau’s attractions, dining, and entertainment. Whether stepping out for sightseeing or returning to relax, everything felt easy and accessible.
Overall, Grand Lisboa delivered a memorable and comfortable stay. With its iconic architecture, thoughtful service, and the generous upgrade that enhanced our experience, it’s a hotel I would happily return to.
GGuest UserI booked two rooms and left a note requesting them to be next to each other. The front desk staff actually gave us adjoining rooms on the 37th floor, which was great. I think the main draw of this hotel is the 'novelty factor,' and it definitely delivered.
Everything in the minibar was complimentary except for the hard liquor, which was a nice touch. We ended up leaving a lot of it untouched...
The toiletries in the bathroom were sufficient and easy to use. The bathtub, though seemingly irregularly shaped, was actually quite spacious. Soundproofing was also good; it was very quiet at night.
The only minor issue was regarding breakfast. When booking, I couldn't clearly tell if it was custom delivered to the room or a buffet, as it wasn't clearly marked on Trip.com. This led to a lot of discussion at the front desk. The in-room breakfast quality was good, and you could select items and delivery times on an iPad, but it naturally couldn't compare to the variety of a buffet. The buffet required an additional payment of around 368 per person, so it depends on individual preference.
Everything else was great. The price from Trip.com was basically the lowest available. It's definitely worth experiencing.
