"We chose Wildes Inn as it is conveniently located just 4 minutes from Bolsover Hospital, where our mother was due to have full knee surgery. We wanted her to be well rested and comfortable, and the Inn truly delivered. The staff were very friendly, and we were greeted straight away by a young, polite gentleman who made check-in smooth and stress-free. The lobby smelled wonderful and had a spa-like, relaxing atmosphere. The team were also very thoughtful, knowing the reason for our stay, they even offered to arrange takeaway breakfast for us. We booked an accessible room for our mother, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience. Our mother was well rested and ready for her surgery. If we pass through again, I would love to try the spa treatments, they certainly look very appealing."

"We stayed at Oakhill for 6 days last week. Our room was bright, looking out over fields, and very clean. The staff were all unfailingly helpful. In the restaurant the hotel serves produce from local suppliers. Breakfast had a good choice. Evening meals had a good menu, with dietary options provided for just about every item. There are sitting areas in the pleasant grounds. There was plenty of car parking. Cromford is well placed to visit a wide variety of places and activities in Derbyshire. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Oakhill."

"Staff brilliant. Value brilliant. Absolute bargain.  Hot Breakfast was average which was an extra tenner but it had a good selection of cereal, toast, yoghurt. Rooms were basic but in a good way. Everything you need for a cheap stay. Clean. Only small gripe was pillows weren’t the best so next time I’ll bring my own. Some may like the more flat pillows. Thanks IBIS derby."

"The sanitation inside the hotel is very clean and tidy The heating, hot water and water in the room are sufficient There is a walking path near the hotel to go up the mountain to watch the sunrise 👍🏻"

"The Hotel is set in a very picturesque location in the Derbyshire Peak District. The room was very clean and comfortable, but basic. The only negative point I would like to mention was that there was no hot water for the duration of my stay, but I would not hold this against the hotel, as it was an unforeseen issue. I would recommend this place for a short stay relaxing break. The local area has some extremely friendly pubs and restaurants, along with some beautiful walks."

"I traveled to the UK some time ago and stayed at the White Horse Woolley Moore Hotel in Derbyshire. The overall experience is very good. I will share it with you! The layout of the room is warm and comfortable, the space is spacious, the lighting is good, and the beautiful pastoral scenery is seen from the window, which is simply a natural landscape painting. The facilities in the room are also very complete, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is clean and tidy, and the quality of toiletries is also good. It is worth mentioning that fresh milk is also prepared in the room, which is convenient for making tea or coffee. This small detail is really a plus! The hotel's restaurant has a rich variety of dishes, fresh ingredients, and a rich variety of breakfasts. The classic combination of English breakfast is available. For dinner, we ordered local steaks and fish and chips. The steak was fresh and juicy. The fish and chips were tender and tender in the outer and inner, which made people feel endless. However, the hotel also has some minor flaws. For example, the hotel's network signal is not particularly stable, and sometimes the video will freeze, which may have a little impact on people who need to deal with work at any time. But overall, the White Horse Woollimore Hotel is still highly recommended. Whether it is the beautiful environment, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and warm service, it is impressive."

"Explorers Retreat Matlock Bath was a unique and fun experience! As a solo traveler, I loved the quirky cabins and the adventurous atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great tips on local activities. The cabin was clean and cozy, perfect for a solo retreat. The location was stunning, with easy access to beautiful walks and the charming town of Matlock Bath. While the facilities were basic, the overall experience was fantastic. It's a great choice for anyone seeking a bit of adventure and a taste of nature."

"We stayed for 1 night for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that the spa was closed for an event which was very disappointing as I booked this hotel because of the spa & had planned to use the pool & sauna. This should gave been communicated at the time of booking. The building and grounds were impressive but on arrival our featured superior room was freezing cold. The reception turned on the heating at our request but this should have been done hours before our arrival given that it was 8 degrees outside. We sat for an hour in the room with our coats on before asking for a portable heater due to the radiators being only lukewarm. The room never really got warm & when we came back from dinner at 9.15 the heating had been turned off again & we had to ask for it to be turned on again. The food in the restaurant was very good & the servers were lovely but unorganised. We planned to have a drink in the hotel bar but it was so cold that it was empty and not comfortable to stay. I heard kore than one staff member complain about the cold in the hotel. What could have been a very pleasant stay was spoiled by the cold. Unfortunately, we will not return."
