Just off the High Street, this ground-floor Studio is perfect for 2 people. Plenty of free parking. It is bright and cosy, enjoying underfloor heating throughout and a log fire. The kitchen is well-stocked and even has a washer-dryer. The Sitting room/bedroom has a Wall Bed, which is very comfortable and a sofa, dining area, TV/DVD/CD. Wi-Fi. The Studio has a lovely Shower room off the Sitting room/bedroom. The village deli is just round the corner as are the village shops. Front house staff at check in and out was lovely. Had to wait on someone for the bar a few times. Coffee was so bitter and strong in the morning I couldn't drink it.

We had a lovely and peaceful weekend at this hotel. One of the best places not far from busy Edinburgh to enjoy a day together with the family. The service is outstanding, and the staff is polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the SPA area with the warm swimming pool and sauna. We will definitely come back to get some relaxation in this place.
