The first room I got was unpleasant. The hallway at the floor and inside the room was had a cigarette smokes. I was stay up for a whole day. Inside the room was shocked me! A lot of mirrors surrounding inside the room. On the next day I spoke with front desk and they changed the room to me as what I booked originally. Better view and cleanliness. More options and convenience to take the public transits. More selections for the restaurants and shops. 

This is a must-stay hotel if you're coming to the Hong Kong Coliseum for a match or concert. It's right opposite the Coliseum, and the balcony faces Victoria Harbour – so convenient! The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms aren't huge, but they're clean and quiet, which is a big plus. The pillows were a little uncomfortable, but everything else was great. The power outlets even have USB and Type-C ports, so you can charge directly. The lobby had a strong Christmas atmosphere, and we happened to be there on a lucky day, with several couples holding their weddings there.

Location is convenient, 10-minute walk to MTR station  or take bus (right next to Hotel) for only one stop to Shatin Town centre. Besides Hotel airport transfer, you can take Airport bus A41 at same bus stop to airport. We are fortunate to assign river view room to enjoy seeing the sunset in bed. Exceptional!! Within 5 minutes, walk for variety of Food Choices nearby and open till late night. It also has supermarket, pharmacy and two 7-11. About the facilities, hotel cake shop is good and we got to enjoy discount with room card presented. We enjoyed our stay of 6 days. 

Before checking in, I proactively received complete check-in information, including how to take the free hotel shuttle and check-in details. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very professional, providing accurate information and helpful suggestions. The check-in process was smooth, and other staff members I encountered were also very friendly, offering assistance and travel advice. The hotel's environment, room hygiene, overall facilities, free shuttle, and even its location are all exceptional, far surpassing hotels in the city center. The hotel's free shuttle is also incredibly punctual and convenient. If you're coming to Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal or the airport, this hotel is the best choice.

The hotel's location is super convenient, with shuttle buses to Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui, and the A31 airport bus stops directly downstairs. The lobby is on the 3rd floor, and shopping is easy right below, even with a Jusco supermarket. The dim sum at the restaurant on the 2nd floor is quite good, and you see a lot of locals there.

Transiting in Hong Kong, I chose this hotel because it's very close to the A11 airport bus stop. We arrived quite early and no rooms were available for check-in yet, but the front desk kindly stored our luggage for us. The room facilities were generally good, and the windowsill jutted out a bit, offering a clear view of the entire street.

I was surprised to find such a great hotel right inside the airport! It's just a three-minute walk to the floor, and the room was incredibly spacious. The best part is there was absolutely no noise from planes taking off or landing, which far exceeded my expectations. This is definitely my top choice for staying near the airport.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and offered stunning city and harbor views. What really stood out was the overall experience: every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional, and the attention to detail made the stay feel truly special. This is my second stay at this hotel. The last time was during the National Day holiday seven years ago. Back then, I stayed in a sea-view room for two nights. I showed the guy at the front desk who checked me in a picture from that trip, and he upgraded me to a sea-view suite! What a pleasant surprise! I was planning to go out to see the night view, but decided to just enjoy it from the hotel instead, and planned to eat breakfast out, but decided to have it at the hotel! 😄 The 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour at night! The room also has a kitchenette, which is a nice touch. Even though Typhoon Matmo hit with a Signal 8 warning, it didn't dampen my mood at all. 😁 Enough talk, just look at the pictures!

🌄 Review for Garden View Hotel From the moment we arrived at Garden View, the experience was exceptional. The staff warmly welcomed us and surprised us with a newly decorated room—it was stunning! Spacious, fresh, and thoughtfully designed, the room truly elevated our stay and made us feel pampered from the get-go. 🌆 The location is ideal for both relaxation and adventure. Nestled near greenery yet within reach of city highlights, it gave us the best of both worlds. We even hiked to Victoria Peak for sunrise, which was an unforgettable experience—breathtaking views and a peaceful morning walk that made the trip extra special. 😊 The staff deserve a special shoutout. Every encounter was met with genuine kindness and helpfulness—they went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. 🏋️♂️ If I had to pinpoint one downside, it would be the gym. It’s functional, but definitely showing its age and could use a refresh to match the elegance of the rest of the property. Overall, Garden View offers comfort, kindness, and a location that lets you explore the beauty of Hong Kong with ease. Would happily return!
