Facilities: The wiring seemed a bit old, and the room light kept flickering. Environment: The overall environment was pretty good. There's a shopping mall downstairs, which is super convenient. City shuttle bus service: I didn't use it, so I'm not sure about it. I saw some negative reviews before going and was a bit worried, but my experience there was great, and I slept really well. The only issue was the flickering room light, indicating a wiring problem.

The good things: Regala Hotel is located around 800 meters away from Hong Hong International Airport. They provide free shuttle bus, and it takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the hotel from Terminal 1 and back. They also have shuttle busses to Tung Chung metro station, Disneyland and even Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhai bus station, although it’s just twice a day. My room was small but smartly designed, light colored with lots of mirrors so it looked bigger. There was everything I needed for a short stay. There’s a water machine in the corridor so you can use a dedicated water bottle from the room to refill it. There’s a small refrigerator under the table which is useful There’s a pool, you can swim if the weather permits😅 The bad things: The floor in the room looked like it wasn’t mapped. There was some hair in the bathroom drawers. The light switches and bed sides had old dust on them There was shampoo in the Shower Gel bottle

I booked this hotel for a layover, and it's right next to the airport. After clearing customs, you just follow the signs on your left, and you'll get there. We arrived at the front desk around 1 AM, and there was a long queue. They only had one counter open, so it was incredibly slow. We waited over twenty minutes to check in, and behind me, there were almost twenty more people, all looking utterly exhausted. It was genuinely annoying. Definitely needs improvement! The front desk staff saw we had a child and kindly upgraded our room (thank you!). It's an older, large hotel with many rooms. The facilities are a bit dated, but they're well-maintained. The room size was quite generous for Hong Kong standards. There's a QR code on the nightstand that takes you to a webpage for room service, and they respond pretty quickly. I'd say the cleanliness was just okay, but since it was just for one night, my expectations weren't too high. The shower in the bathroom is over the bathtub. There's no bottled water, but there are water dispensers in the hotel corridors. Breakfast is on the ground floor. I took a quick look, and the quality seemed decent, with a good variety of options. No takeaways allowed, though. I was in a hurry, so I didn't get to sit down and eat. The room rates fluctuate quite a bit, so you need to keep an eye on them. Including tax, they can range from 700+ to 1300+. I booked mine for 900+.

The hotel is grand and beautiful, with excellent hygiene and a great environment. Right downstairs is the New Century Plaza, where you can find everything from upscale to budget-friendly dining and shopping options. Except for lunch at attractions, we got all our dinners and breakfast pastries at New Century. The subway is also right next to the mall. We checked in at 3 PM on arrival, but on the 18th around 2 PM, a lady at the front desk noticed how tired we elderly folks looked. She kindly went out of her way to find a suitable room for us on the computer. She was very warm and welcoming, something the male front desk staff didn't seem to consider. We'll definitely book this hotel for future trips; it's just so convenient. It's comparable to the Crowne Plaza Kunshan, with the added convenience of a mall right next door.

The hotel upgraded me to a sea-view suite, which was a pleasant surprise as Hong Kong hotel rooms tend to be on the smaller side. The facilities were good overall, though the air conditioning was a bit noisy. I appreciated the USB charging ports at the desk, making it convenient to charge devices without an adapter. Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers.

Located in Wan Chai, the hotel boasts a great location and has been recently renovated. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional and doesn't feel cramped for two people; it's quite comfortable. The soundproofing in the room is also good. One thing I couldn't quite understand is why, during the renovation, they didn't update the charging outlets to be more universal. I still needed an adapter for my Apple devices, and it was easy to accidentally hit the switch, which would stop the charging.

Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Good Overall, it's pretty good and offers great value for money. The only slight inconvenience is its distance from the city center, but they have a convenient shuttle service. You can catch a free shuttle from Tsuen Wan MTR station or Tsuen Wan West MTR station to and from the hotel, which is really handy. Apart from that, what else could be bad? The hotel rooms are decent, and the overall cleanliness is good. However, I hope they can improve the cleanliness a bit more next time, as there was some dust on the curtains and table. If I stay again, I'd appreciate it if the room could be cleaned more thoroughly. Also, it would be great if the rooms could be a bit cheaper. Overall, the value for money is still quite good.

I had a great stay at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong and I’m truly impressed by their service. After checking out, I realized that I had forgotten three items in the room. Honestly, I didn’t even expect to get them back — but the hotel staff managed to locate all of them and returned everything to me. That was amazing and really exceeded my expectations. It shows how professional and trustworthy their team is. The location is also a huge plus. The hotel is directly above and next to a mall, which makes it super convenient to find something to eat or grab anything you need. It’s also situated very close to the MTR, making it easy to get around the city. The room itself is quite spacious for the price, especially by Hong Kong standards. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

The hotel is right next to Jordan MTR station, and the area around it is bustling. It's not far from Tsim Sha Tsui and Victoria Harbour, easily walkable. For Hong Kong, the room size is definitely spacious, and you can't really ask for more. Check-in is on the second floor, and luggage storage is on the first, which is quite convenient. They even provided a complimentary mini-bar. It offers great value for money.

This was probably the best part of our trip to Hong Kong. After walking nearly 30,000 steps around HK, my family and I were completely exhausted by the time we checked into the hotel in the afternoon. The staff at check-in were very friendly. The room was bigger than we expected, and as soon as we got in, we just dropped our bags and collapsed onto the bed to rest, so we barely took any photos. My family and I all had a really good rest. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to HK.

PPositivelyUWe had a fantastic time at the Grand Bay View! The room was cosy and clean, but the real star was the view—sunrise over the beach was spectacular. The location is perfect; you can walk down to the beach in seconds. The free shuttle to the MTR is a great perk, but the real money-saver is Bus A38 right outside. It takes you directly to the airport for only 20 HKD (much cheaper than a taxi!). The staff were lovely and even lent us a plug adapter when we realised the sockets were different, as well as an iron and an ironing board. Just a heads-up: they don't provide free bottled water, toothbrushes, or daily towel changes unless you ask. Also, we weren't fans of the on-site restaurant, so we ordered in. But honestly, the kitchenette in the room was perfect for making our own tea and coffee. Highly recommend for the views and value!

GGuest UserTwenty years ago, when I first visited Hong Kong on a tour, I stayed at the Rambler Garden Hotel next door. Back then, this entire complex had just opened, and this area wasn't even on my Hong Kong friend's new map. From my room, I could see the Stonecutters Bridge under construction and the container terminal below. Back then, we had bulky CRT TVs on the windowsills; now, there are flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls. The hotel is very clean, and housekeeping is prompt and thorough. The room is quite small, which is typical for Hong Kong. The wardrobe and other furniture haven't been replaced in twenty years, and some pieces are showing wear and tear. The mini-fridge, which used to be under the wardrobe, is now on the windowsill. The nightstand, previously between the two beds, has been moved to the side closer to the bathroom. Some of the worn areas definitely need timely repairs. Tsing Yi is a relatively secluded island, and as one of only two hotels here, transportation relies on minibuses 88F and 88G plus the MTR, which is reasonably convenient. Because of its somewhat remote location, the big advantage is the excellent value for money. For the same price, hotels in areas like Jordan or Central would be even smaller and lack any cabinets or chairs. WeChat Pay and Alipay are widely accepted in many places, though a few smaller shops still hold out, accepting only cash. All three meals can be had at the Café de Coral restaurant on L1. There's also a convenient ParknShop supermarket where you can top up your Octopus card at the checkout. On L1, you'll also find a Bank of China (Hong Kong) ATM. You can withdraw Hong Kong dollars directly using any UnionPay debit card; it automatically converts the currency, and I found the exchange rate to be quite good at 0.88. There's a flat fee of HK$10 per transaction. Twenty years ago, the hotel used to sell Disneyland tickets. Now, it's so easy to buy tickets online via mobile, so that service is no longer offered. That's all I can think of for now. Time to rest.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel location is quite far from the nearest metro station, but reachable by minibus) 5 stations form Tsing Yi station). I like the fact that they mentioned to us there will be extra charges for extra amenities if needed, but I just find it a bit weird. Room is very small but it's Hong Kong I guess. Overall it is a good place to stay since we only want a place to rest for a few hours before continuing our journey

传说中的陈大哥88The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel has a great overall ambiance, though its location is a bit inconvenient, being some distance from the MTR station. However, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The dim sum and Chinese set meals at Jade restaurant were exceptionally delicious, and the service there was excellent. The rooms were also very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

NNanguaniangThe hotel's front desk staff, both the young men and women, were excellent. They arranged a room with a superb view, allowing us to perfectly enjoy the New Year's fireworks display. They were very responsive to all our requests and fully met our holiday needs. Thanks to the enthusiastic help of Ms. Nicole, we quickly traveled from Hong Kong directly to Shenzhen to continue our second leg of the journey. We will definitely choose Island Shangri-La again next time.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Dorsett Tsuen Wan. Although the hotel is located a bit outside the main city center, it offers value for money and is much more affordable than hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui or Central. The rooms are ok for Hong Kong standards. The best part is their complimentary shuttle bus service, which runs frequently to the Kwai Fong MTR station and nearby shopping malls. It makes commuting very easy and stress-free. If you're looking for a reasonable price without sacrificing comfort, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers! It has a small 7-11 located next door.
