Great location! I've been to Hong Kong many times, but this was my first stay in Causeway Bay, and it was a really good experience. The room was very spacious and even had a partial sea view. The value for money here is outstanding. The 'ding ding' tram stop is right downstairs. The downsides are that it's a bit old; the first day the bath towel had a stain, and the second day it had a hole. Also, a minor issue is that being close to the road, the traffic lights downstairs make a faint 'ding ding' sound all night. If you're a light sleeper, it might be a slight disturbance. Overall, I'd go again and would recommend it to friends.

The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the soundproofing in our room wasn't great.
The staff at the executive lounge were very rude. We arrived late, and there was no food left, only tea and alcohol. Even though it was still 10 minutes before closing time, the staff member turned off the lights early.
My two companions and I at the next table were all quite shocked by this.
The photos are from a different hotel; we checked out and moved to another hotel the next day.

This is my go-to hotel for business trips. While the facilities are a bit dated, it's always spotlessly clean and hygienic. They even have a water purifier. The staff, from the front desk to the baggage handlers, are all incredibly warm, polite, patient, and thorough. Plus, dining and shopping options nearby are really convenient!

Regala Skycity Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Terminal 2 of Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport. The first free shuttle bus service starts at 6.15 am from the bus interchange at Terminal 2. Waiting bay is between lanes 9 and 11. Late check-out is allowed upon request until 1 pm.
As my experience goes, there is no need to pay room deposit of HK$500 after paying for the room rate in full at Trip.com. If the guest chose to pay at the hotel, HK$500 which is roughly around S$83, is required. The hotel allows rooms for day use until 6 pm and room deposit is required.
I chose to stay at Regala Skycity Hotel in order to review its rooftop as the hotel promotes the use of its rooftop for physical exercises and plane-spotting. The rooftop is above the twelfth floor, two fire doors up from the eleventh floor.
On the rooftop, I can see jets flying towards the direction of the sea above the rooftop. If an aeroplane flies towards the airport in the opposite direction, plane-spotting can be done at the twelfth floor corridor end-window. It is amazing that jets can be seen flying towards the airport above the sea. Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1 and Regala Airport Hotel can also be noticed.
Focal length is 200mm to 500mm. In the afternoon after check-out, I am grateful that the receptionist allows me to go up to the rooftop again for plane-spotting till sun set with out paying for a room for day use.
About the small, comfortable room that I stayed, the garden view is not that magnificent. There are no trees fortunately. There are no bottles of mineral water in the room. Heat a kettle of water and pour the water into the hotel's glass bottle to drink later.
About the shower room, the anti-slip mattress is available for use.
The hotel restaurant serves complimentary breakfast with Hong Kong-style breakfast as the highlight. There is no American-style breakfast to eat.
It is very expensive to stay in Regala Skycity Hotel but I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting if there were new airliners flying to the airport at the appropriate time.

This suite is incredibly spacious for Hong Kong standards, featuring a living room, a kitchen, and two separate bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, making it perfect for family trips or even two couples traveling together. Downstairs, there's a small mall, convenience stores, and plenty of dining options, all super convenient. It's also very close to the MTR, making getting around a breeze. The hotel even provided complimentary welcome fruit, which was a lovely touch.

I chose The Empire Hotel Wan Chai because reviews mentioned its convenient location, being about 800 meters from both Admiralty and Wan Chai MTR stations.
I looked at some pictures and reviews, and while there were some negative comments, I figured that everyone's expectations and experiences are different. So, after weighing everything, I decided to stay here.
Overall, my experience at The Empire Hotel Wan Chai was excellent; I'm very satisfied and would give it a perfect score, with just a tiny bit of room for improvement. Of course, individual experiences vary, but objectively speaking, the environment, service, room cleanliness, and amenities were all very good. I'd say it's comparable to a high-end All Seasons Hotel in mainland China.
Knowing that space is at a premium in Hong Kong, I understood that room sizes would differ from mainland hotels, so I wasn't disappointed by the room's dimensions.
I booked a king-sized bed room online about half a month in advance. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded me to a twin room. The beds were 0.9 meters wide, and the bedding was quite comfortable for sleeping.

My first time staying in a 5-star hotel! 🏨 The room was super clean. It's also easy to find, and only costs 3.7 to get here by bus from the Big Buddha.
The bed was big and comfortable, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the airport without even needing to cross any roads. Super convenient!

I chose this hotel out of several five-star options because I was attending a concert, and the service from the staff was genuinely excellent. Everyone greeted us with a smile. We were very lucky to be upgraded to an 80-square-meter sea-view suite. The room facilities were also great, with complimentary drinks and snacks, plus a 360-degree sea view – truly fortunate! We also had free breakfast, afternoon tea, and access to the executive lounge. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Staying at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong was a luxurious experience, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room provided breathtaking vistas of the dazzling city skyline and sparkling waters, transforming day and night into a living painting. The hotel's service was impeccable and attentive; the staff consistently anticipated our needs, combining efficiency with genuine warmth. The rooftop infinity pool felt like it was suspended between the sky and the sea, offering an unparalleled view while swimming. The location is excellent, close to both the business district and the MTR, making travel incredibly convenient. Overall, it perfectly blends magnificent scenery, outstanding service, and urban accessibility, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The room was quite spacious overall, and it was cleaned daily. The shower in my room also had a bathtub, which was great for a relaxing soak. However, Hong Kong nights in January can be a bit chilly, and the hotel's blankets were thinner than what you'd find in mainland China, plus the air conditioning wasn't very effective, so make sure to bundle up.
Transportation is also very convenient. I strongly advise against walking uphill. From Central MTR Exit D, head to Pedder Street and take bus 12A. Get off at the YWCA stop, then walk towards the gas station. There's a glass side door that leads directly to the hotel reception.
Note that bus 12A is a circular route. After boarding at the stop near the MTR station, it will pause at Admiralty Station; just wait for it to depart.
I highly recommend visiting the Zoological and Botanical Gardens directly across the street in the morning. The birdsong is lovely, and around 8 AM, the monkeys in their enclosure all start calling out together, which is quite interesting.

LLiz-yuanThis hotel offers great value for money in Hong Kong. After carefully sifting through options, I booked the GuangDong Hotel, feeling a bit nervous due to some negative reviews. However, I was very satisfied with my stay, so go ahead and book with confidence! I didn't dare book the most basic room, opting for the 'Oasis' instead, and they kindly upgraded me to a 'Sky' room free of charge. The bedding was very clean, and the shower had great water pressure. The provided toothbrushes were of good quality, and the mini-fridge drinks along with two daily bottles of water were complimentary. The front desk service was excellent. The lobby was a bit small, with the coffee shop taking up some space, but they offered free coffee vouchers. The hotel's location is its biggest advantage; it's super convenient for the MTR, tram, and buses. There are also many restaurants nearby with a wide variety of choices. I highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious enough! The sea view from the window is so refreshing! Plus, there's a shuttle bus right outside that goes directly to Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West Station, which is super convenient! I've booked it twice in a row for my trips to Hong Kong in the past 2.5 years, what more can I say!
11186269101For my relatives' trip to Hong Kong, I booked the Royal Plaza Hotel in Mong Kok for them. As a hotel situated in the bustling heart of Mong Kok, it perfectly balances vibrancy with tranquility!
The moment you step into the lobby, the elegant design instantly puts you at ease. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming with smiles. The room itself was spacious – a 33-square-meter guest room in Hong Kong is definitely 'luxury' level. The interior was cozy, with soft lighting and high-quality wood-grain furniture, creating a homely feel. What was most satisfying was how incredibly clean the room was, with tidy bedding and even the smallest details spotless. Plus, it comes with a direct drinking water system, which is fantastic for tea lovers! 👍
The bathroom facilities were also a highlight. The separate bathtub allowed for a relaxing soak, washing away the day's fatigue.
In terms of location, the Royal Plaza Hotel truly has the upper hand. It's directly connected to Mong Kok East MTR Station and the large MOKO shopping mall. Whether you're heading to Tsim Sha Tsui for the Star Ferry or Causeway Bay for some retail therapy, transportation is incredibly convenient! The surrounding area is also a paradise for eating, shopping, and entertainment. In just a few minutes' walk, you can reach特色attractions like Goldfish Market and Sneaker Street, allowing you to experience authentic Hong Kong culture anytime.
TtriishlouiseVery nice hotel. The only issue we had was that when we first arrived, the receptionist took quite a long time to process our check-in. They could definitely improve their service in that area.
We also got a room upgrade for a lower price (plus taxes), which was great. We enjoyed our stay even though it was short (from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) since we had to transfer to another hotel afterward.

GGuest UserIn my early years, I often collaborated with the Kerry Group. If the 80s belonged to the Ritz-Carlton and the 90s to Hilton, then Shangri-La has since reigned as a 'heaven on earth,' truly living up to its name. If you're tired of monotonous experiences, then after trying the 'local flavor old-brand royal' hotels in Hong Kong and Macau, you'll tell yourself not to challenge yourself again as you get older. These '特色皇家老牌' (characteristic royal old-brand) hotels will only transport you back to 1960s state-run guesthouses, complete with grumpy staff, rattling air conditioners, and 'flavorful' showers that fluctuate between hot and cold – much like the declining British Empire. Be kind to yourself. Stepping into the familiar Shangri-La lobby, it's a unique experience, like escaping a disaster. After returning from Victoria Peak to Hong Kong University, I had the best sleep I've ever had in Hong Kong. The service is excellent in that it doesn't add to your troubles when you're already feeling weary. Aside from some doormen who exhibit a 'Hong Kong style' of judging people, everything else is outstanding. Especially noteworthy is the polite and graceful lobby manager in red. I witnessed a small incident where she treated customers speaking Japanese and Chinese with equal respect – a definite plus. A unique environmental feature is that Hong Kong Park acts as the hotel's backyard, a luxury usually reserved for national guesthouses.
GGuest UserNice hotel with very cleanliness. Hotel quite far from MTR but there are shuttle bus service to take you to the near shopping mall and MTR station (call to reserve seat before riding) Housekeeper always change the bed sheet along with our trip. Hotel have deposit luggage service both before check-in and after check-out
GGuest UserFor Hong Kong, this room is quite spacious. It's relatively new, very clean, and in a great location – just one stop from Causeway Bay. Excellent value for money. I saw some online comments saying it was hard to find, but I found it quite easy. I stayed for three days and by the end, I realized how well-connected it was. On my last day, I even discovered an underground passage very close to the MTR station!
YYiqiqukanhai58The hotel's location is excellent. From West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, head towards Elements Mall. Once inside Elements, continue following the clear signs to the hotel. The entire walk is indoors. It's also convenient if you exit at Kowloon MTR station; just walk into Elements. The hotel is clean and the service is warm and friendly. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very welcoming. There are clear signs leading to the hotel entrance. You take the elevator to the 6th-floor lobby where staff direct you to the front desk for an easy check-in process.
Because of the convenience and excellent service, I extended my stay for an extra day. On the first day, I wasn't familiar with Elements Mall, but once I got my bearings, it was very easy to get around. To travel from Hong Kong to Macau or Zhuhai, you can simply take the cross-border bus from within Elements Mall, which is incredibly convenient!
SStephanie0912An amazing experience! The hotel offers a free shuttle to the MTR station, which was super convenient. The front desk staff were excellent too. I requested a clean room and they truly delivered—it was so comfortable. They even upgraded me to a sea view room ❤️ Waking up to that beautiful view every day was just wonderful! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hong Kong!
