I stayed at the Regal Airport Hotel by myself to attend Cloud Yi's concert in Hong Kong. Getting to AsiaWorld-Expo was incredibly convenient – I just walked through the connecting bridge on the second floor of the hotel, and it took less than ten minutes to reach the venue. Walking back after the concert was just as easy. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the airport, Tung Chung MTR Station, and Disneyland, which is a huge plus. On every floor, there's a free water dispenser, so you can just bring your own bottle to refill. The room wasn't huge, but since I was traveling solo and not sharing, the space was perfectly adequate. Other points: the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy, but the shower had great water pressure which made for a very comfortable wash. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it covered all the essentials.

The location is super convenient, walkable from the terminal's parking lot. However, the hotel is quite old, and the facilities are generally a bit dated. They do provide charging adapters, and breakfast is decent. No bottled water though – typical for Hong Kong hotels these days, you have to use a glass bottle to fill up at the dispenser by the door. The slippers are very thin. Overall, it's okay, mainly banking on its convenient location. It's a great choice for a layover since you don't need to take any transport, and you even get a view of planes taking off and landing on the runway.

The location is super convenient; both Wan Chai and Admiralty MTR stations are within walking distance. The room size is quite generous, especially for Hong Kong. Empire Hotel is a well-established and trustworthy brand here. I stayed here mainly to catch a show at the Academy for Performing Arts, which is just a 5-minute walk away. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I'll definitely come back next time.

Fantastic! It's super easy to get to – just exit Wan Chai D, cross the road, and you're there. We were given a room on the 51st floor, and the view was absolutely stunning, with the entire Central skyline right before our eyes, plus a partial view of Victoria Harbour. Sitting by the bed at any time was a pure delight. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, truly deserving of their status as a Trip.com Preferred Partner hotel. I took my parents to see the Golden Bauhinia, which they'd always wanted to do, fulfilling a long-held wish. We also experienced the breathtaking night views and vibrancy of Victoria Harbour. The only downside is that the weather is really hot and muggy right now. Next time, I'll definitely stay longer to explore more leisurely.

I recommend this hotel, not because of its warm service – in fact, I was quite dissatisfied with the front desk staff, who were expressionless throughout and didn't seem friendly or welcoming. However, the hotel offers great value for money and is just a stone's throw from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, making it incredibly convenient for getting to Central. I was staying in the Kai Tak area of Kowloon and only chose to stay here for one night specifically to visit the gardens, and it was the right choice – the price was affordable and the room size was suitable. However, I do think Hong Kong hotels should learn from their Japanese counterparts; since it's a service industry, a warm and friendly attitude is always necessary. Even if it's just for a few minutes, they should at least pretend! It's no wonder my friends choose to fly directly to Japan for holidays instead of Hong Kong; it truly has a lot to do with the quality and attitude of Hong Kong hotels. Compared to the slippers provided by the hotel and the ones I brought myself, it's as if Hong Kong hotels provide nothing at all... All in all, I would recommend this hotel to friends, and I hope that next time I see the front desk staff, they will combine professionalism with a smile – the two are not mutually exclusive.

The hotel upgraded us to a suite with a view of Central's night skyline, which was a pleasant surprise! The room was clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly patient. I called the butler for inquiries, and they were very helpful. When we left, the doorman assisted me in getting a taxi due to heavy traffic. The service was excellent! The only minor inconvenience is the location; at night, you either need to take a taxi or use the Mid-Levels Escalator. But that's an experience in itself. So, if you're taking the escalator to the hotel, I recommend traveling light. Ask the hotel beforehand where to get off the escalator (near the shop in photo 6), and then it's a short walk. There are convenience stores nearby, and along the escalator path, you'll also find convenience stores and shops. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it exceeded my expectations!

Excellent! Before coming to Hong Kong, I kept hearing people say the rooms were small, so I was really pleased with this hotel. Key points: The interior decor is all new and beautiful. The room is quite spacious. The bathroom is also large. The location is great – you can walk directly from Mong Kok East station to the hotel. So, you can easily connect to many places from Mong Kok East, and the prices are all the same anyway. Overall, the service was very good.

Overall, it was decent. The high-floor views were beautiful, but the pool was closed. However, there were a few downsides: the room smelled of smoke, and the breakfast was quite meager – not quite up to par with other four-star hotels, but barely acceptable. Surprisingly, according to Hong Kong regulations, you need to bring your own toothbrush. The location is good: close to the MTR station, tram, and bus stops, right next to the famous Luen Wah Cafe and an gelato shop.

The room was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, comparable to a standard twin room on the mainland. The common areas were very well air-conditioned. To get to the tower, you need to take an elevator to the 20th floor. The facilities weren't as outdated as some reviews suggested, and I was very happy with this room type in Hong Kong. We pushed the two small beds together to create a large bed over 2 meters wide. It offered excellent views, including a sea view, and the rooftop pool was also stunning, providing a dazzling view of Victoria Harbour at night. The transportation was extremely convenient; it was just a 3-4 minute walk to the MTR station if you turned right upon exiting. The only minor drawback was that the front desk staff who checked us in didn't smile at all. While they weren't impolite, there was no sense of warmth or friendliness.

We checked in earlier but they still need us to wait till 3 pm and it wasn’t on time , I mean the room wasn’t ready yet . As I have booked it in trip . Com and the lady receptionist said she can’t find my booking and Imseh need so much time to check my booking . Ok and I have told her I am celebrating my birthday and I need to take photo in the room and celebrate so see if she can upgrade me . I was happy she did and it was 10th floor . The view from the room was good and I took lots of birthday photos . The pool was great and relaxing. The staff was friendly and polite . The sauna was good too . I will try it again for sure .

KKHTanHad a short stay at The Wharney Hotel. We booked a family room and were quite pleased with the cleanliness, and the shower had strong water pressure. The room size was average, and the bed was soft and comfortable. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the room fridge is a nice gesture. Check-in staff were friendly and even provided us with complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent, with plenty of eateries 9and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Value for money.

WWeelliePROS - Convenient location, with two bus routes from the airport plus Tuen Mun MTR and tramway. - V City shopping centre is nearby with supermarket, restaurants and shops. - Efficient staff, in Hong Kong term. You dont expect superior services while paying for this price. - Clean rooms, strong aircon and good minibar to keep your own drinks cold. CONS - WiFi was up and down. - Fine for streaming but too slow for downloading.

GGuest UserThis is a great value-for-money option! The large windows make the room bright and comfortable. Downstairs, there's a ParknShop supermarket and a Cafe de Coral restaurant. It's a bit far from the city center, but easily accessible by bus. Just note that they don't provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, though disposable slippers are available.

GGuest UserA nice hotel. However the room is compact. Not spaces and the location was away from the train station. It has a paid transport service hence needed to get familiar to the pick up and drop off places. The hotel had put me on the 19th floor with a good view facing the port. The toilet is small separated by a shower curtain but was compensated with a strong shower water even it was on the 19th floor. Overall, a simple hotel. It does not provide water bottles and toiletries set in the room just to take note. And there is not many power socket for charging devices and the bedside table do not have power point to charge your handphone. Overall, a simple and comfortable stay.

XXiangshoulvtudexiaohaiFacilities: For a family-friendly hotel, the pool is perfect for toddlers and young children! There's also a small play area that costs HKD 110. Cleanliness: Very clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Environment: Built by the sea and next to Ocean Park, the scenery is beautiful, and the sea view is top-notch. Service: We drove there, and overnight parking cost HKD 500, which is quite expensive. Aside from the front desk staff, who weren't great, the rest of the service was good.

Pacific Place is right downstairs, Hong Kong Park is nearby, and it's super close to Admiralty MTR station. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Hong Kong!

GGuest UserThis is an older, reputable four-star hotel chain in Hong Kong, and this Tsuen Wan location is the most affordable. I chose it for my island-hopping trip to Hong Kong, finally fulfilling my wish to swim and hike at Half Moon Bay in Sai Kung. I booked a room with either a king or twin beds. On the first night, being a Saturday, there were more tourists, so the hotel didn't have any king rooms left and just pushed two twin beds together, which was a bit tight. On Sunday, I asked to switch rooms, and they accommodated me immediately, but there was no complimentary upgrade; upgrades cost extra. The room was quite small, barely enough space to open two carry-on suitcases. Some of the garden view rooms faced an old, dilapidated gray factory building, which wasn't very appealing. The rooms have been newly renovated, and each comes with an air purifier. If you don't have a converter, there are USB ports by the bed for charging. There's a TV with movie channels, which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the bathroom in the king room had a minor leak, but it dried up after the room was cleaned. The cleaning was thorough, and they replenished tissues and toilet paper. They'll change the sheets upon request. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can buy them at Mannings, about a 10-minute walk away. They also don't provide bottled water, but there's a water dispenser in the hallway. Theoretically, tap water in Hong Kong is drinkable, but some buildings have old pipes, so filtering is a good idea. From 11 AM to 5 PM daily, the hotel offers self-serve complimentary drinks at the entrance; the Roselle tea and longan ginger tea were both delicious. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Tai Wo Hau MTR station and about a 20-minute walk from Kwai Hing MTR station, but there are plenty of buses nearby, and the double-decker bus offers great views. In April, the hotel's swimming pool wasn't open yet. The gym is open 24 hours and has some cardio equipment, 1-10kg dumbbells, a weight bench, and yoga mats, along with sweat towels. The hotel has a restaurant and a cafe. The front desk service was a bit average, but the concierge and restaurant staff were very good. There's also a shuttle bus to nearby shopping malls. The 7-Eleven at the entrance is open from 7 AM to 11 PM, which is convenient for buying things. However, the hotel doesn't have a microwave, so you can't heat food when the 7-Eleven is closed. There are many restaurants in the residential area, about a 10-minute walk away, offering choices like cha chaan tengs, beef noodles, and char siu rice, and most stay open late. Check-out is quite early at 11 AM. I called the front desk to request a 12 PM check-out, and they said it would cost an extra HKD 130. After check-out, luggage can be stored for free until midnight that day; after midnight, it's HKD 10 per piece per day. When I went to pick up my luggage, I saw a tour group from mainland China, which gives you an idea of the number of tourists the hotel hosts on weekends. Overall, I would still highly recommend it; it offers excellent value for money in Hong Kong!
