If you're here for an exhibition, this hotel and the Regal are definite choices. However, during exhibition periods, the value for money isn't great. For over a thousand yuan, the rooms are just so-so. As for the service, it's like Hong Kong overall – some staff are enthusiastic, others are a bit sloppy. The aunties in the restaurant are very friendly, but the young people at the front desk seemed a bit cold, though they did provide basic service. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much to begin with?

In a word: dated. While the hotel claims to have been renovated in 2019, the reality suggests otherwise. From the moment you step into the corridor, it feels like a time capsule from the 1990s - a feeling that is only confirmed once you enter the room. The room showed significant signs of neglect: peeling wallpaper, a deteriorating bathroom ceiling, a stained bathtub, and heavily worn furniture. To make matters worse, there was a persistent ”old” odor throughout the space. The only saving grace is the location, which is likely why most people choose this property. However, location alone doesn't justify the lack of maintenance.

Great location above the Moko Mall and literally exit D of Mong Kok East line. Station is inside so no need to dodge rain if weather is bad. We took a larger taxi from the airport as a family of four plus one family member who picked us up including our cases cost approx 320HKD. On the return to the airport we asked the concierge to help us organise a taxi back to airport and cost us 299HKD including our cases. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, speak Cantonese and English very well House keeping staff are very polite and friendly and rooms were cleaned daily to a great standard. We used the swimming pool a number of times and I used the gym a few times. Always well kept and clean. The swimming pool provides towels as you go outside on the right hand side. There are swimming times divided into three sessions and is open until 9pm - the kids loved it. The gym is well equipped for the size of the hotel too. Just need to let the reception know your room number before using the pool or gym. We stayed in the family room on the 11th floor in room 1173. Rooms are spacious for Hong Kong. There is a lovely window seat as well which is a plus. My photos don't do it justice as I did them last minute. The only downsides of the rooms I would say is that the wardrobe space isn't enough to accommodate a family of four, and despite being on the 11th floor you can hear/feel the running of trains underneath. If you're a light sleeper I would recommend you ask for a higher floor. Rooms come with disposable slippers - don't last very long but they provide new ones every so often. There is a kettle in the room and packaged tea and coffee, creamers to make a drink. Rather than wooden stirrers which can be flimsy- steel teaspoons would be more sustainable and easier to use. Bathrooms come with hand wash, shampoo, shower gel, body wash. There are also disposable toothbrush sets with toothpaste, a comb and ear buds provided. Hairdryer in bathroom as well. There is also an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe which is very handy. The hotel is literally within walking steps from the flower market and bird market/garden. This is easily accessible by going through the front of the hotel down the stairs on the right of the exit. Ladies market, Sneaker street, Goldfish street are all within 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. Just go through the shopping mall onto the foot bridge and follow the signs. There are tons of eateries and shops in the mall, good mix of western and eastern restaurants. If you fancy going across the border to Shenzhen for a spot of shopping it is approx 30-40mins on the train from MongKok East. Just remember to fill in your arrival card online to save time at the border. If you're feeling up to it you could easily walk all the way to TST ferry. It's about 45-50 mins down Nathan Road depending on how often your kids want to stop and look in shops or you can easily get a bus or metro there. Overall fabulous hotel and would recommend others to stay here and I would stay here again. It's very convenient, the staff are friendly and helpful.

JJianghurenchengqige 2026.04.22
Pros: The hotel is super conveniently located right across from the MTR station. You can even access it directly from the mall after exiting the subway, thanks to clear signs. Hung Hom Station makes it easy to get anywhere, with most attractions just one or two subway stops away. Plus, dining and shopping in the mall are incredibly convenient. Cons: Most hotels in Hong Kong seem to have decor from over a decade ago. Finding a new, spacious hotel is practically impossible. The room had a faint, old, slightly damp smell, and the cleanliness wasn't meticulous. I extended my stay for a day and asked for the bathroom hair to be cleaned, but it wasn't thoroughly removed. Summary: For the price, the room size is relatively large, and the location is genuinely convenient. The cleanliness is acceptable overall. All in all, it offers good value for money and is worth booking.

Conveniently located near Southorn Playground on Hennessy Road, it's easy to get around by MTR, bus, or tram. There are several 7-Eleven stores downstairs, and the lobby offers free tea and coffee. The front desk staff are very polite. The room has just been renovated, and for this price point in Hong Kong, it's quite spacious, clean, and bright. The water pressure is excellent, and disposable amenities like toothbrushes and slippers are provided. However, the soundproofing isn't particularly great.

SSUNSHAORU 2026.03.23
We booked this hotel specifically for our trip to Hong Kong Disneyland with the kids, mainly because of the free shuttle bus to the MTR station and the rare two 1.5-meter beds. Otherwise, the hotel's location is quite remote; it's hard to even figure out how to walk anywhere from there. It's true that the hotel staff weren't very smiley. But the most frustrating thing for me was discovering there was no power adapter in the room when we were about to go to bed, even though we brought our own phone chargers. I called the front desk to borrow one, and they actually said they didn't have any and that guests needed to bring their own! That's a bit ridiculous. While there were USB ports on the plugs for charging, the speed was incredibly slow – my power bank wasn't even fully charged after an entire night! Another tip for everyone: don't wait for the shuttle at Tsuen Wan West Station; the service is infrequent. After getting off at West Kowloon, we saw Tsuen Wan West was closer on the MTR map, so we went there to wait for the hotel bus. Turns out it only runs at specific times, so we ended up taking a taxi directly to the hotel. They charged extra for luggage, and it cost over 70 HKD in total, which was a bit painful! It's much better to wait for the free shuttle at Tsuen Wan Station; there are more frequent services there!

Facilities: Has a pool 🏊 Service: The front desk and concierge were very welcoming. This trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't get a chance to try the hotel's dining, but I'll definitely come back next time. It offers great value for money, and the room was quite spacious for a newer hotel in Hong Kong. Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Environment: It's very close to the MTR station, easy to find, and there are many dining options nearby. A big thank you to the front desk for the birthday cake 🎂 – it was a very thoughtful touch!

I really looked at so many hotels before coming to Hong Kong, worried that a bad stay would spoil my trip, but the Prudential Hotel truly didn't disappoint! It's actually not far from West Kowloon, just a few blocks away. Plus, the Jordan MTR station exit is right next door, and downstairs you'll find bus stops, the Airport Express, Mannings, and Jollibee fried chicken – it's incredibly convenient! It's also super close to West Kowloon Park, making it easy to visit the big purple fountain. In fact, it's quite close to the Star Ferry and the Victoria Harbour observation deck too; we walked there the first time, and then took a bus (just 4 stops) to see the night view. There was even a film crew shooting downstairs, though we didn't see any celebrities, it was still pretty cool. There are lots of great restaurants in the area. The check-in service was very welcoming, and I noticed staff near the escalator helping women with large suitcases down, showing a strong awareness of safety.

This is a great hotel, though getting to the 19th-floor lobby from the third floor was a bit of a trek at first. Hong Kong feels even hillier than Chongqing! Once I got my bearings, I found a shortcut through Ship Street, which put me about 400 meters from Wan Chai MTR station. It's also conveniently close to the bar street that's popular with expats.

Almost every time I visit Hong Kong, I stay at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West. First off, the rooms are very spacious, and the two 1.5-meter beds are incredibly comfortable. It's also super close to the Tsuen Wan West MTR station, and there's a bus terminal right downstairs where you can catch the A31 directly to Hong Kong Airport – very economical. This time, the building seemed to be undergoing renovation. Check-in, which used to be on the 41st floor, was moved to the ground floor. We also encountered a constant stream of tour groups, which made the lobby feel a bit chaotic. As for the room itself, they've added a water dispenser, so you can boil your own water. However, I've always felt that Nina Hotel's shower stalls have a design flaw: they're too shallow. If you take a slightly longer shower, water will overflow. This time, it leaked into the toilet area, and last time it even flowed outside the bathroom entirely. I really hope Nina Hotel can improve this; it would significantly boost guest satisfaction.

GGuest UserMy stay here was excellent! The hotel is easy to find and super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby until morning. Both the front desk and room service staff were incredibly warm and patient, and they were quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive, and it offers fantastic value for money. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserTwenty years ago, when I first visited Hong Kong on a tour, I stayed at the Rambler Garden Hotel next door. Back then, this entire complex had just opened, and this area wasn't even on my Hong Kong friend's new map. From my room, I could see the Stonecutters Bridge under construction and the container terminal below. Back then, we had bulky CRT TVs on the windowsills; now, there are flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls. The hotel is very clean, and housekeeping is prompt and thorough. The room is quite small, which is typical for Hong Kong. The wardrobe and other furniture haven't been replaced in twenty years, and some pieces are showing wear and tear. The mini-fridge, which used to be under the wardrobe, is now on the windowsill. The nightstand, previously between the two beds, has been moved to the side closer to the bathroom. Some of the worn areas definitely need timely repairs. Tsing Yi is a relatively secluded island, and as one of only two hotels here, transportation relies on minibuses 88F and 88G plus the MTR, which is reasonably convenient. Because of its somewhat remote location, the big advantage is the excellent value for money. For the same price, hotels in areas like Jordan or Central would be even smaller and lack any cabinets or chairs. WeChat Pay and Alipay are widely accepted in many places, though a few smaller shops still hold out, accepting only cash. All three meals can be had at the Café de Coral restaurant on L1. There's also a convenient ParknShop supermarket where you can top up your Octopus card at the checkout. On L1, you'll also find a Bank of China (Hong Kong) ATM. You can withdraw Hong Kong dollars directly using any UnionPay debit card; it automatically converts the currency, and I found the exchange rate to be quite good at 0.88. There's a flat fee of HK$10 per transaction. Twenty years ago, the hotel used to sell Disneyland tickets. Now, it's so easy to buy tickets online via mobile, so that service is no longer offered. That's all I can think of for now. Time to rest.

GGuest UserReview: A Clean, Budget-Friendly Stay with a View Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) I recently stayed at the Rambler Oasis Hotel in Hong Kong and overall, it was a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a clean and affordable place to rest, this is a solid choice. The Highlights: • Clean and Comfortable: The room was tidy and well-maintained, which is always the top priority for me. • The View: I was pleasantly surprised to have an ocean view, which added a nice touch to the stay. • Airport Accessibility: This is a major plus for travelers. The hotel is very conveniently located for those arriving or departing from HKIA. • Budget-Friendly Transport: Getting to and from the airport is a breeze and very cheap. I used the A32 bus, which only costs HKD $20—an excellent way to save on transit costs compared to the Airport Express or taxis. Things to Consider: • Location: While the hotel is great, keep in mind that it is quite far from the central tourist hubs of Hong Kong. If you are planning to spend most of your time in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, or Causeway Bay, be prepared to spend a bit of time commuting back and forth. Final Verdict: If you don't mind a commute in exchange for a clean room, a great view, and a very convenient/cheap route to the airport, the Rambler Oasis is a fantastic value option.

GGuest UserThe environment and scenery are impeccable, truly comfortable, and far superior to the older hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui. The MTR is also very convenient. I'll choose this place every time I visit Hong Kong from now on. However, the attitude of the front desk staff during check-out meant I could only give four stars at most. Those four stars are for the excellent service during our stay. The one star deducted is because when we were queuing to check out, another lady cut in line at the registration desk! Yet the staff member said they didn't notice who was first and that we should have queued up properly! That's outrageous! I didn't pursue a complaint because I was so satisfied with the accommodation and didn't want to spoil my trip.

TTsuribiExcellent Horizon club staff. All thanks to Leo, Reine, David, Gordon, and Cloe. Always welcoming us with a wide smile. Thanks to Chef Hardy Hui, we gained weight hahaha. Last day of CNY my parents needed vegan breakfast and he delivered in style. 5 star! Great variety of food, execllent service and ambience at the Horizon club is fabulous. We have to come back again. Cafe TOO, your breakfast was outstanding. Your dinner buffet is out of those world. My mum eat very little yet she was chomping it down. Very fresh ingredients all the way. Not forgetting the wonderful housekeeping team and special thanks to a lady named Eva. I heard you were responsible for my room. You are instrumental and noticed our preference and acted accordingly. Thank you and sorry we didn't meet in person. Maybe next trip. We really enjoyed our stay and the Horizon club initiative to respond immediately to whatever it takes to make our stay very comfortable. We thank you!

GGuest UserThe room was comfortable, slightly small compared to others but it ok for a few nights. Requested to be away from the lift and quiet room but funny enough they arranged my room right next to the lift and was noisy all night. Bed is comfortable and room is clean. Just needs some Updating on maintenance on the mini fridge area. TV is in good working order and has the typical channels, WiFi has good signal. The hotel doesn’t supply any disposable toothbrushes etc you will need to purchase them if you need. As previous reviews states that the location is not the best place but it does have a hotel shuttle that goes to and from Kwai Fong MTR every 30mins and they also have local bus stops outside that go directly to and from the airport. Also 10mins walk to Tai Wo Hau station MTR. They have a laundry room if you are planning to stay longer or if you needed something to be washed. And uses octopus card or contactless payment to work. I don’t know if the restaurant downstairs is part of the Dorsett but they really mess up with their prices on dim sum and will overcharge you if you don’t take a close look at the bill. If you are not local and are tourist they will try to take advantage, which ruined my experience on my stay. Please be aware, better to eat elsewhere or like other guests order takeout! Overall it was an ok stay for a few nights and the hotel staff was friendly compared to others.
