Booked the Empire Hotel Hong Kong · Wan Chai during the 9.19 sale. First off, getting to the hotel from the airport on the A11 bus was super convenient, a direct ride. The front desk didn't proactively tell me the specific times for breakfast and afternoon tea, only the floor where they were located. I'm guessing the hotel is a bit older, as the room facilities felt a little dated. There wasn't a charging port by the bed, and there was a vent in the room that couldn't be turned off, constantly making noise. However, the breakfast and afternoon tea offerings were plentiful and refilled very promptly.

The ultimate value-for-money king in Hong Kong! Harbour Plaza Metropolis exceeded all my expectations. Choosing the right hotel is crucial when visiting Hong Kong, and the Harbour Plaza Metropolis absolutely blew me away! Its location is prime – directly opposite Hung Hom MTR Station, just a 5-minute walk away, making travel to and from mainland China incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui, getting you to the shopping district in just 5 minutes. Being next to the Hong Hom Coliseum is fantastic for concerts, and the International Plaza shopping mall downstairs means shopping and dining are literally at your doorstep. My sea-view room was absolutely stunning. Opening the curtains revealed panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars. The room itself was spacious and spotless, with elegant and cozy European-inspired decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was generously sized. The facilities were top-notch: fast, reliable internet, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, and an electronic safe. They even offered a free shoe-shine service – attention to detail was exceptional. The biggest surprise was the 25-meter outdoor heated swimming pool, where I could swim while admiring the Victoria Harbour views. The fitness center and spa were also excellent for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was fresh and diverse, offering a full spread of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff were warm, efficient, and spoke excellent Chinese, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Whether for business or family travel, this is a top choice in Hong Kong. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Located within MOKO Tsim Sha Tsui, it's super convenient with Hong Kong-style restaurants right outside. The MTR station is just a 5-minute walk away, making getting around a breeze. The hotel is clean and simple overall, and the room size is actually quite good for a Hong Kong hotel. You can store your luggage for free, and both check-in and check-out are incredibly smooth. There are staff members by the elevator entrance every day who note down room numbers, which is a nice touch for security.

The room was spacious, new, and very modern. The service was highly professional, especially the cleaning staff who could cure anyone's OCD! The location is excellent, just a short walk from Zijing Cultural Square and the Convention and Exhibition Center. Public transport is convenient, and it's super easy to find places to eat and shop. There's a mall downstairs and Xiamen Street right across the road, surrounded by all sorts of restaurants, from various price points to different cuisines, both Chinese and Western. It's perfect not only for business trips but also great for family vacations!

Hotels in Hong Kong are always very expensive in October due to the exhibition season, so every year I come to Hong Kong this month, I stay in Tsuen Wan for maximum cost-effectiveness. The Dorsett brand is quite good; I've stayed at two other locations, and they were all clean and tidy, with friendly staff. I'll definitely be back around this time next year.

For Hong Kong, where every inch is precious, the hotel room was surprisingly spacious. We had no problem opening up two suitcases. There's a mini-bar with complimentary drinks and a free toothbrush and toothpaste set. Our room was on the eighth floor with a direct view of Nathan Road below. Being a bit further from the elevator, the room was quite quiet. Getting around was very convenient; Jordan MTR Station exits D/E lead right to it. Our booking on Trip.com included the accommodation tax, and check-in was quick. There's a Mannings and a 7-Eleven nearby. It's also easy to get to Disneyland. We needed to exchange a bit of Hong Kong currency; we bought Jenny Bakery cookies at Mirador Mansion, and they only accepted cash. Most shops took WeChat Pay and Alipay. I initially used Alipay, but later found that WeChat Pay offered a better exchange rate. The hotel facilities are a bit dated; the lights need to be twisted manually to turn off, and the WiFi signal was just okay. Overall, it was still a good stay.

Facilities: While not brand new, the overall feel is excellent, and the rooms are really spacious. Hygiene: Very good, the rooms are clean, and the lobby is also very clean. Environment: Both inside and outside the hotel, the environment is quite comfortable. It's really suitable for families with children, very close to the subway station, and exploring the surrounding area is very convenient. Service: Very friendly and accommodating towards our family with children; they were very thoughtful. I'll be booking another two-day stay from November 8th to 9th. Hoping for an even better value next time!

I initially thought that after so many years of renovation, the carpets might have an odor. However, after a long comparison, I decided that location was paramount. Other reviewers had mentioned no issues with smell, so I chose Kowloon Shangri-La. I ended up being incredibly satisfied! The decor is grand and luxurious. The staff are enthusiastic and remember guest preferences. (I was among the first employees at Shangri-La Qingdao in '97. I remember during training, we were taught to always remember every guest's preferences. It's great to see that Shangri-La's global standards haven't changed over the years.) They made sure guests felt completely comfortable. The Horizon Club's breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner offer incredible value for money, and the service is excellent. My husband and kids both said this was an excellent hotel choice. It's also convenient for shopping, and they even gave my child a gift! 💝

I'm very satisfied, although the room had a slight musty smell that cleared up once the AC was on. Everything else was great. The location is excellent, right by the sea. It's about a 20-minute walk along the waterfront to the Avenue of Stars/K11. The MTR station is only 5 minutes away, and the D1 exit of the station connects directly to a supermarket and shopping street, which is very convenient. The price was quite reasonable; a room like this would easily cost 500-600 RMB in a first-tier mainland city. Just remember that at this price point in Hong Kong, you typically need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, and water isn't provided.

I booked this hotel to watch a game, and it's incredibly close to the Kai Tak main stadium. Plus, the hotel has an exclusive guest通道 (channel/pathway), which made entering and leaving the venue very smooth and relaxed. It's rare to find a hotel in Hong Kong with two 1.5m x 2m beds, making it perfect for families. The hotel is new, and the hygiene is excellent – very clean. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, items are replenished promptly, and the taste is quite good. The chicken noodle soup and oatmeal cups were delicious! 😋 The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to and from Kai Tak MTR station's Airside mall, which makes getting around very convenient. There are also plenty of dining options within the mall.

ZZongxiangConvenient location and good value for money. The room was relatively clean, and the size is quite decent for Hong Kong. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the restaurant's front desk this morning. I had a complimentary coffee voucher from the hotel and asked for a takeaway. The staff asked me to wait five minutes, but when I returned, it hadn't even been prepared yet. She wasn't busy with anything at all during those five minutes, so I had to stand there and wait for her to make it from scratch. This is the only negative point.

XXingguangyuanThe Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong is an absolute gem! The rooms are exceptionally spacious for Hong Kong, with soft and comfortable bedding. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning sea views, and you can even see the Tsing Ma Bridge lit up at night. The staff provides incredibly thoughtful service; they patiently answered all our questions and even proactively upgraded our room, which really enhanced our experience. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a private beach, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. The free WiFi signal is also super stable. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there's a shuttle bus directly to Tsuen Wan Station, and it's also very convenient to get to Disneyland. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely a top choice for family trips!

TtriishlouiseVery nice hotel. The only issue we had was that when we first arrived, the receptionist took quite a long time to process our check-in. They could definitely improve their service in that area. We also got a room upgrade for a lower price (plus taxes), which was great. We enjoyed our stay even though it was short (from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) since we had to transfer to another hotel afterward.

AAnonymous UserThanks to all the previous reviews, my check-in was very smooth. I stayed in a single room with one single bed and a sofa. Although the room was small, it was enough for one person. It seems like the double rooms just replace the sofa with another single bed. The hotel staff were excellent and very enthusiastic. I didn't encounter any unpleasant experiences. The facilities aren't particularly new. The bath towels were a bit frayed from washing. The toothpaste was surprisingly hard, like candy, which I wasn't used to. There's no drinking water provided in the room; you have to get it yourself from a designated spot. Hong Kong's environmental efforts are very thorough. It was very convenient to take the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and then from the hotel to Disneyland and Tung Chung. I'd like to suggest to management that drivers announce the stops at each station, or have pre-recorded announcements in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese playing at each stop. Many people got off at the wrong stop on the way back from Tung Chung because the shuttle goes to the Regal Hotel first.

LLinmumuxilinmumuaHere's what I always say: every time I stay at the Royal View, there's always a pleasant surprise! It has become my top choice whenever I visit Hong Kong. Although it's a bit far from the city center, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan Station... the service is frequent and very convenient... and it's not too far from Disneyland either. Service: The front desk staff, shuttle bus drivers, and doormen are all very nice. Facilities: They have small toys that kids love, and the rooms are relatively spacious. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Environment: It's by the sea, with ocean views, very relaxing!

MM361752****Disney's Luxury Hotel Okay, I guess no one really reads reviews anyway... Those who can afford it will book directly, and no matter how good I make it sound, those who can't won't book. My gripe: The walls between rooms are very thin, so the soundproofing is poor. In the morning, the constant buzzing of a phone vibrating against a wooden headboard next door was so annoying! It was that low-frequency hum that just drives you crazy! I called room service, but they were hesitant and didn't dare to intervene, just playing mediator the whole time... Who knows if it was a phone or something else, but it just kept vibrating, damn it! Otherwise, almost everything else was great. Especially after leaving the pool, there's a coastal promenade behind it, and thousands of meters of private coastline, which felt really special. It's suitable for those with energy to go for a run during a few days of vacation. Hong Kong Disneyland generally isn't very crowded, and guests at the three hotels can use hotel pathways. The best way to enjoy it is to enter the park after 11 AM during the off-season (you can ride everything by 6 PM). Wait times for each attraction are 3-10 minutes, and many even start before they're full. It's much faster than even the priority passes during peak season, no crowds at all. Everyone, buy all sorts of accessories and headbands on Taobao beforehand – you can wear anything! They only check for large amounts of food and big bottles of drinks. The accessories are all made in Yiwu, and the quality from mainland China is even better than what's sold in the park. In the park, they cost 169-249 HKD, which is enough to buy a super unappetizing turkey leg (take my advice, you'll regret it) or a similar lunch. They say they check for selfie sticks, but many people have them inside; I suggest not bringing one unless you want your girlfriend to film some **dancing videos that I like. There's a shuttle bus from the hotel to Disneyland, and you can also take it to store your luggage. I don't recommend leaving Hong Kong Disneyland right after playing; the fireworks show isn't impressive enough for mainlanders... I don't understand girls' obsession with fireworks; it's just crowds, what's there to see? However. If I come again, I definitely won't choose one of the three hotels. A hotel in Tsuen Wan for 1/3 the price is a much better deal, and the travel time is about the same. The money saved could potentially create bigger miracles in Macau 🙊🐶🐶 Service: Top-notch 🔝

MM613037****The most outstanding feature of this hotel is probably its ventilation system (since the hotel is relatively new, the AC and air circulation likely use two separate ducts). I originally planned to use the hotel's washing machine (laundry is $40 and drying is $40, not cheap). On the first day, I just hand-washed a pair of shorts and socks, and to my surprise, they were completely dry by the next day, hanging on the rack outside the sink! (I'm sensitive to cold, so I kept the AC at 25 degrees at night, and it only blew occasionally, so its exhaust system must be independent). I have to praise it. Shimen MTR station is very close to the hotel, and at Sam Do Restaurant next to the station, the triple-combo rice is only $38 after 7 PM. The vegetables are especially fresh and delicious, and they also have fish and shrimp! The prices are surprisingly good!

MM332575****First off, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to the Peninsula Hotel, and the subway is just a minute away, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Secondly, the lobby is spacious, and the rooms are very clean and don't look worn down at all. For Hong Kong, the rooms are quite a good size, much better than previous hotels I've stayed at, and the price is reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Thirdly, the service was great; they even upgraded me to a sea-view room. The only downside is the check-in time being after 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future!
