Cyprotel Faliraki

Just returned from a brilliant stay. Aside from the initial hiccup with room confusion, we had an amazing stay. Rooms are good, food is good, drinks are good. The bit that makes it that little more special are the animation team. They are incredible, great entertainment all through the day, brilliant with the kids. Special mentions to Emile and Maradona who sought us out everyday to check on us and have a chat. We’ve been on many all inclusive holidays and this was one of the best! Will 100% return in the future.

Although the rooms weren’t that great and could do with a bit updating. The facilities at the hotel are lovely and the food is eatable. The animation team and other staff really made our holiday. They were attentive, they made sure we were okay and they kept the little one entertained. A bit shout out to Maradona, Spider and Emir for making our little princess feel so loved and making sure she was having the best time! Even when it was raining the animation team were there dancing and making sure all the children were having fun! We all had an amazing time.

Stayed July 2024. Rooms are dated and in bad state of repair. Furniture needs replaced. Bathroom looked like it had been tiled in the dark and also had a shower curtain (unhygienic). Drink was awful and in paper cups with long queues at the bar. Think the cheapest soft drinks ever. Food was lacking and often ran out. Big queues and absolute chaos in the “restaurant”. No kids desserts not even ice cream. Ice cream is served for an hour or two a day. (There is a snack shack for slush candy floss etc but this is payable) Not enough seats in the restaurant either. Some of the restaurant staff work very hard and are a credit to the team. Entertainment was horrendous and headed up by a sleeze. Not enough chairs to watch so people were lying on the sunbeds and umberellas around the pool broken, the grassed area got very boggy. There is a small games room which is like a sauna, no air con in there. I was 7 months pregnant but we couldn’t keep our room on, they offered a courtesy room but this was badly managed and they had no control of it meaning we only managed to get in 20 minutes before our transfer. The room was filthy and dirty towels everywhere (was basically a room previous guests had checked out of). I made contact with enzo the manager during our stay and explained our issues He basically said he knew the hotel needed renovated and blamed Thomas cook going bust (5 year ago ). Once he realised he couldn’t/woudlnt rectify any issues he stopped replying. Another point to note is there is a height/age restriction for the slides so if you have small kids look into this. Toilet seats missing in communal areas. Seats ripped in the dining area (where air con dropped on our heads)

After reading so many worrying posts I was stressing about coming to this hotel. However we as a family had a lovely stay!!! Hotel is very clean and they are constantly on the go. The rooms are basic and do need upgrading but that didn't spoil our stay, I feel the money we paid was just for what we got. Food could do with a little more variety but again there was always something nice to eat. The animation team were very good and always happy and engaged with the customers, all in all a very nice holiday and I would return!

We had a great holiday. Lovely hotel, great animation team. Emir, Smile, Spiderman very good hosts. And Alexis so much energy. The pool and activities were great. Food and drink average but we went offside alot. Rhodes is beautiful. Old town and Lindos. Local village amazing. My partner had an injury and apart from the first few hours having no contact the lifeguard and Roxette (Manager) were very helpful and assisted us greatly. A brilliant place, Hotel and holiday

This was our 2nd trip to the Cyprotel in Faliraki and we had an amazing time. The hotel offers great value for money. It's nicely spread out with lots of green areas around the pools. The staff were all great, in particular Panagiotis who was on lifeguard/first aid duty every day, always smiling and very happy to see you, he even remembered our names from the previous year! The food is again good value for money, lots of variety. Drinks are basic local beers, wine on taps and unbranded spirits. It's a good location, you can walk to the beach in about 15mins and to Anthony Quinn Bay in about 30mins. Or you can get taxis or pick up a pay as you go e scooter. We hope to visit again soon!
