This station is a large station, only 30 minutes away from other stations in Kyoto, and the train leaves every 15 minutes or so. Generally, people who travel to this station take the Hozu River Cruise. I wanted to arrive at Amanohashidate early in the morning, but I couldn’t find one in Kyoto Nijo that was so flat and close to the station, so I could take the train half an hour later. The north exit of the station is only 1 minute away. The nearest convenience store is the station. Within 5 minutes of the south exit of the station, there is an Aeon supermarket and a restaurant open until 11 o'clock. A single room is the size of an average Japanese business hotel, definitely not 17 square meters. Breakfast starts at 6:45. If you’re in a hurry, there are rice balls you can take away.

The hot spring public bath was simply said to be wide, and I felt it was clean, but this was also about ”normal”. Bath towels will not be lent unless you pay 400 yen, valuables lockers are so small that women cannot put them in their bags, and the security against the risk of theft is ”lowest” class. We left our shoes at the dining hall and bathed in the hot springs in slippers, so it was fine, but when we put on our shoes, the locker fee was 100 yen. It's not a translation, it's extremely sloppy, it's good because it's so empty, but if it's crowded, you can't tell who's slippers it is. Of course, if the cooking is not good with this, ✖ 5 will not get a single 0, but only the cooking was far ”better” than expected. However, they don't pay attention to the serving of food at all. They always serve food from the ”back seat”, so we who sit first are the last ones, and we are men who eat quickly. It's been a long time, the staff don't have the ability to respond flexibly to things like this, and I can't say that we have to send out all at once because there are about 30 people, but as a staff member, I have the ability to make arrangements and observe the surroundings and respond. Of course I have it. He was extremely insensitive when it came to asking for extra rice, and if he looked around, he would have been able to find out who had finished earlier. It's the same with ya, but only a few people drink, and even if you don't work hard to make money, you can put it off for later.Do you want to earn that much? Even if you ask the price by the side, it is truly a ”rip off” price. Hands down the BEST ryokan experience ever. I stayed in a different one of the same scale in 2017 but Suisen blows it out of the water. From the service, food, environment and just attention to detail, everything is just top notch here. We got the room with private onsen and the room was huge! Had separate bathroom with shower/tub, a makeup room, living room and huge bedroom. The private onsen was nice on the balcony as well. We also booked the private onsen and that was 100% worth it. The outdoor views are simply stunning and they also give you little drinks in the fridge. Next is the food, the lounge offers unlimited ice cream, cookies and coffee. The fridge in our room was also loaded with different types of drinks, beers etc The dinner and breakfast was on another level. We were amazed by every course, each was a work of art and taste did not disappoint. Chef Kobayashi really knows his food and what works together. The staff was always friendly, and eager to help. The stay was only 1 night but we will be thinking back on it for a long time.

This ryokan always takes care of us at year-end parties. This time, my friend is going to be transferred to a distant place, so I visited her to have a farewell party. The room is a corner deluxe on the second floor. I requested a Western-style room, but I never expected to have such a room. Flooring that feels like it was carved by a craftsman in the total cypress guest room bath. It is luxurious with a TV on the wall of the living room and a coffee machine. I don't write about the meal in detail because I have it at the banquet every year (I like the meal, so I use it at the banquet...), but this time the matsutake mushrooms were steamed in an earthenware pot, which was still early in the season. I usually have dinner in a private room, but this time I am grateful that you prepared a spacious hall for a small number of people. Yunohana Onsen's evaluation in the local area, I think Suisen → Sumiya ≒ Shoenso → Keizankaku → Hoga is common, but I like Shoenso the best. (I've never stayed at Suisen because it's expensive, but...) I'll visit you again soon. Thank you very much.

It takes more than ten or twenty minutes to take the hotel shuttle bus from JR Kameoka Station, so you need to make an appointment with the hotel in advance. The Japanese-style room is very comfortable, and breakfast and dinner are also great! There are hot springs. There is a shuttle bus to the Hozugawa Ferry Terminal, and you can also make an appointment for pick-up and drop-off from the Saga JR Station.

The hotel's environment and rooms are very beautiful, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Although there is no convenience store near the hotel, there are different drink options in the hotel. The dinner provided by the hotel is also good. The hotel staff understands English and their service attitude is very friendly, but The only drawback is that the tent room does not provide a separate bathroom

I've stayed there for 2 nights and everything is just amazing. The staff upgraded my room which had a sauna and bath tub. Snacks and drinks were replenished every day. The breakfast was great and the dinner was just amazing. They provided a variety of drinks (wine, sake, juice, tea, coffee, etc.) and it's all you can drink. They also provided free beers and drinks in the lobby resting area and you can watch live sports there at night. The hot spring is great as well. Highly recommend!
