Humura Resorts

Genuinely 5* Humura is close to Mulago Hill which was perfect for us as we were working on a global health partnership with the Uganda Cancer Institute. The en suite rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable double beds with effective mosquito nets and aircon. WiFi is good enough for working, it was a pleasure to sit up on the covered terrace in the evenings to finish tasks from the day and the business spaces looked great for more formal meetings. We even peeked at the suite which had a beautiful bedroom, seating area and work room. Food was available at any time from early morning until late at night. There was a breakfast buffet with fruit, granola and a few cooked items that varied each day like samosas, cabalagara, toast, bacon, cooked bananas. Avocado so delicious I ate it every day! Eggs on request. The pool was cool and welcoming and there were plenty of spaces to sit and relax in the sun or shade. There is a small gym which I didn't investigate but saw others using :-) All of the staff were warm and kind and made us feel like honoured guests in their home. Because there are not hundreds of rooms we got to know individuals and we received a very personalised experience. The style of the hotel was Ugandan and it was a welcome change from the generic upscale chain hotels. The area felt safe and it was easy to walk or get an Uber (or a Boda Boda for more fun!) Thanks to Duomi, Katherine, Ivan and everyone else who made our trip so perfect!

The best hotel there is in Kampala. The best hospitality ever. I love the place , the ambiance is amazing as well , great location and food ! It’s very close to the city center and nice bars and the museum! I really recommend the place! And good view from the rooms

First of all, this should not be advertised as a Resort. Its a boutique / Hotel at best. The location is good, in a serene environment, nice ambience. Phionah, the receptionist was fantastic, she made our stay memorable. Al la Carte was good, tasty and rich. The room was spacious, bed was comfy, I had nice view from my window. Shower had a good strong pressure and yes, there was hot water. The WiFi was free but very unstable, after much complaints, it improved (manageable). The towels need upgrading. The complimentary breakfast can be better. The rooms are not sound proof as you can hear next door guest conversing.

Went there for a short honeymoon and it was the best tranquil place in the midst of a busy town. Finally got the rest I really needed. Thank you everyone at Humura hotel for their customer service and decorum. Best experience. Henry and Faith

I had such a beautiful stay at Humura resort. The staff is helpful and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The rooms are big and they include a mini fridge and safe. The bed and pillows were very comfy and the room very clean. We ate a few times at the restaurant and the food is delicious, tilapia fish above all. The breakfast offers a variety of savoury, sweet and local fresh products.

Dumi and team are the best. We have been so well looked after. We have stayed at Humura many time and will be back again. The breakfast is glorious with fresh fruits and fresh omelettes. The rooms and hotel is super clean. Good location and so quiet considering the Kampala traffic. We love this place and the team.
