Unrestrained Youth Hostel

The hostel is clean and quiet. I saw the owner and his family clean the place, even the stairs so I trust the cleanliness. There is a spacious common area with tables and chairs. The owner doesn’t speak English but we had no problem communicating through WeChat. The owner helped me with finding stores in town for supplies and trekking information about Gongga shan. He even texted some drivers to help me find a ride to the trail head. The location is quite close to the intercity bus stop so after your bus ride you can easily walk here. It’s a bit far from the city center but that allows you to walk the entire city to see the scenery. Overall highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this place. Everything is new and clean, great atmosphere. There’s even fire in the common area in the evening.

This was a great friendly hostel with a really helpful and warm owner. It’s right by the bus station down by the river and has an absolutely beautiful view in the valley right outside. The common area is cool (all glass so very bright) and really nicely furnished, and sometimes they will light a fire in the evening to make it cosy. The room was really comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping at all. The owner also helped me find interesting things to do in the area and even helped me find a solution when the bus I wanted to take was fully booked. I’d really recommend staying here. It’s also a fast walk to the centre of town and easy to get to the temples etc, I’d say it’s the best location because you can easily get to other places with the bus station so near by as well.

The hostel is conveniently located not far from the bus station, making it easy to access. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and always available to offer helpful advice. I also enjoyed some lovely, friendly moments during my stay, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming environment!
