However, you need to pay attention when taking the elevator, as you might accidentally end up in the neighboring hotel. "Good hotel, very close to the bus station and the room has everything you need. It took us some time to find the place since there’s no “Mercury Hotel” sign anywhere, but showing the booking text to a local helped—they even found an English speaker for us. If you’re booking here, just note that the entrance is at the back of the building, not on the main street. It’s a small entrance."

"Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had. The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing. Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!"
