"This is a standard Ibis hotel. Good location, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Kanding. Located very close to ancient Buddhist temples which are definitely worth of attending . Very authentic area. A number of shops and restaurants around. The room was clean and quite cozy. Breakfast is very simple. The meals are served on the first floor, near the reception and the entrance. And that’s quite weird because food becomes cold very quickly, just while you start eating 😀 Nevertheless this hotel is a nice budget option. I was living there for 2 days after trekking in the mountains. And that was a good rest. I can recommend this place"
Kangding Liwan Yabuda Hotel
"The environment here is pretty good. Even though our room faced the road, it wasn't noisy at all because there's a river separating the hotel from the street. Parking was convenient and free. The room was quite spacious, and it's close to Liuliu City, about a 20-minute walk. Breakfast was also very generous, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kangding."
Zompa Yak hotel
"This hotel is located in Baitukan, the hillside neighbourhood above the urban centre of Kangding and a great option if you are looking for small boutique-type accommodation in a quieter part of town with good views. You do need a bit of stamina to hike down and especially up the hill but it is good exercise with lovely views and otherwise a short taxi drive from town. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities for a great stay. The hotel is run by a friendly couple and customer service is good. I stayed here in the low season and breakfast was limited to a Chinese option."

"The sound insulation is poor, there is not even a bottle of mineral water in the room, and it is next to the road, so noisy, I can't sleep all night!"

The room has a good view, the mountain view can be seen outside the window, the gentle and meticulous treatment, the whole stay experience is full, highly recommended! Recommended by friends who go to West Sichuan! Things fell into the room, and it was also very fast to help find, a great service experience."

"We stopped in Kangding for a rest after returning from Xinduqiao. Driving was quite convenient; the navigation was accurate, and parking was available a little outside Kangding New City. Overall, it was a good experience and very cost-effective. Facilities: The room had a private hot spring pool, which was very comfortable. Various disposable amenities were provided, and the tissues were of the Jie Rou brand – a huge plus! One minor drawback that could be improved was that the underfloor heating switch in the room seemed broken and couldn't be turned off. The room was a bit too warm and stuffy; even with all the windows open, it was still quite hot. Also, the neighboring building was playing a radio, which was very noisy. Opening the windows made it noisy, and closing them made it too hot. Hopefully, this can be improved. Environment: There is a public hot spring pool, and overall it's quite nice. Service: Very good. Even though we arrived late, the front desk staff were very welcoming and waited for us. Cleanliness: Acceptable. We didn't find anything unclean."

Was a set meal due to low number of travellers staying. Laundry room was available. However, dryer’s timing is super off. Waited the entire night for my clothes to dry."

"The guesthouse I booked for watching the sunset at Zimei Pass was located in what was probably the closest village down the mountain. Village conditions in general aren't great; we ate on the first floor, but the toilet smelled terrible… If you're looking for something nicer, you might consider staying in Shade Town. This place has two adorable cats, and the one nicknamed "Cow" is very smart and affectionate."

"Five-star review! The staff at Senglangzan Hotel are incredibly attentive and welcoming. The hotel itself is quiet and the environment is excellent, with everything spotlessly clean. The room facilities are very comprehensive; there's a portable kettle, and they even offer free oxygen, which really helps alleviate altitude sickness. The amenities are thoughtful and practical. This is definitely my top choice for trips to high-altitude areas!"

"The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and check-in was efficient and quick. The smiles throughout the entire process made it feel very welcoming. They patiently answered any questions I had, and the attention to detail was perfect! Their professionalism and warmth made the entire stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel also had a rich breakfast variety and free porridge in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel for its service."

"The hotel is conveniently located right off National Highway 318. It has its own parking lot and offers a quiet retreat despite its roadside location. The backyard features a large lawn with views of distant mountains. They also have an in-house restaurant, serving delicious food at very reasonable prices. The owner is incredibly attentive and service-oriented; they even provided an extra duvet. Regarding the facilities, I have a few friendly suggestions: the bathroom floor can be quite slippery, so it would be helpful to put up a 'Caution: Wet Floor' sign and replace the current slippers with more anti-slip cotton ones. Additionally, adding a glass partition in the bathroom to achieve wet/dry separation would be a great improvement."

"From the heart, I must give a good review. From Hailuogou all the way to Kangdingzhou, the car is very tired. When I arrive at the zero-pressure mattress and memory pillow, I am too powerful. The things used in this hotel are good things. From the bedding to the linen, I have no fooling. The hotel's own parking space, I can stop at any time. The key is also close to the love song square in the center of the old city. The starting price of five yuan is at the entrance of the hotel. When I check out, the boss asks how the experience feels. I said that I must give a good review. I can see that I am doing things with my heart. People, next time friends come over, they will recommend this hotel. The quality of seeing and touching 👍"
