3-Star Hotels in Kangding

The room was incredibly spacious and even had a large bathtub and an oxygen machine. Just outside the room, there were mountains. The owner was really nice and didn't try to upsell anything. They even had a large oxygen cylinder available for guests experiencing altitude sickness, free of charge.

I didn't have time to take pictures of the interior of the room, so the luggage was placed in a mess. It was the same as the pictures I saw when booking. There was no difference. Because of the altitude, I didn't have to take a shower when I checked in. But fortunately, the room had oxygen supply facilities, which is good in high-altitude areas. Very critical. The room price is not very cost-effective, but I personally am not used to staying in Tibetan-style B&Bs, and the breakfast here is very rich and delicious. Great location, pet friendly, highly recommended

The hotel was exceptionally clean and charming, with a great atmosphere. It was perfect for dining, staying, and taking photos. The facilities were excellent, and the view from the window was stunning. The staff were all very welcoming. Breakfast was abundant, and we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel – the food was delicious and portions were generous. A special thanks to the owner! We were a family of four and had booked a standard room. When we arrived, the owner saw us and, realizing the room might be a bit small for four, upgraded us for free. I want to take this opportunity to share a bit about my trip: It was my first time visiting Ganzi, and everyone I met was so kind and warm-hearted. My child had conjunctivitis and needed eye drops that required refrigeration. When we arrived in Kangding, we went to a beef hotpot restaurant, explained the situation to the staff, and they filled a whole thermos with ice for us. At the pharmacy, where we bought glucose, my child asked where to buy a pen, and the pharmacist generously gave her one for free. At our hotel in Kangding, when we asked for directions to Tagong Grassland, the owner gave us a map. And here, the owner not only upgraded our room for free but also helped us freeze a box of ice. I'm so grateful for all the kindness we encountered along the way. Not only is the scenery beautiful here, but the people are wonderful, and their hearts are even more so. I definitely want to come back if I get the chance!

Although we paid much more than average price on the area because we wanted to get a good rest for the weekend, we were super disappointed from the staff. We alerted them that there are no hot water in the shower (it’s freezing here at night), and they didn’t help us, consistently said that we need to open the tap and wait for the hot water to come (we waited more than an hour). We told them again and again that there are no hot water and they just repeated that we need to open the tap. Furthermore, they laughed at our faces, which was very disrespectful. We expected more than that from the staff, that supposed to be helpful. If we knew that we would get this treatment we wouldn’t come in the first place.

The hotel room's oxygen supply is not available 24/7—it only starts after 5 PM (they said the equipment requires maintenance). Although the oxygen appears to be working late at night, it feels like the high-altitude sickness and hypoxia return. I'm not sure if it's just our room or a general issue, but the hot water is inconsistent—it suddenly turns cold for half a second or a second before switching back to hot, repeating this cycle endlessly... Taking a shower was incredibly frustrating. The floor heating takes forever to warm up, and by late at night, it's just cold and oxygen-deprived, making proper rest impossible. The breakfast was average, and the restaurant recommended by the front desk staff was decent.

Who knows the family! May 1st to Danlin Snow Mountain Ranch Hotel, God is probably playing hide and seek with the sun, the light is not bright enough, but the snow mountain directly ”roll king” attached, take the initiative to open the face! The most amazing is the hotel photography brother, which can be called the atmosphere group + professional director. A sentence of ”dry land pulls onion” shouted me into the play in an instant, and the film was so beautiful that I wanted to weld the mobile phone wallpaper to death! In the background of the white snow mountain, the red like a fairy who suddenly broke into a fairy tale, the atmosphere was directly full! Originally thought that the cloudy day would leave regret, but I harvested a single surprise blockbuster! In my heart, there are poems and treasures in the distance and snow-capped mountains and grasslands. This treasure hotel that can turn ”small regret” into a fairy experience, and it will really break your thighs if you miss it! Great value snow mountain video has been going to the hotel, a video is worth the room rate.

The room was overall very good and the breakfast was also very good. It was the neighbor who made a lot of noise on the day we stayed, and we were woken up early in the morning. We arrived at the hotel very late because there were dogs in the hotel. We were afraid of dogs and asked the store boy to help bring them to the hotel. Thank you so much. Charging is very convenient!

The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The view outside was excellent. It's located away from the main road, ensuring it's quiet at night. The facilities are quite new, and the toilet is an automatic smart toilet. There's underfloor heating in the room, so it's never cold at night. The windows can also be opened, providing good ventilation. The front desk staff provided excellent service; she even proactively brought us water. The breakfast was incredibly generous and delicious—easily the best we've had so far on our trip to Western Sichuan. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was great. The hotel was very clean. In Xinduqiao Town, where prices are generally increasing, this hotel truly offers exceptional value for money. I highly recommend it!

The guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!
