GGuest UserThis hotel was good except for the disappointment about the gym. We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good.

GGuest UserAs a foreigner, I hardly come across not so good cleanliness hotels in China. But the bathroom here is quite small, and there’s no ac so there is no ventilation. And considering that we are at high altitude, it was hard for me to breathe midnight when there is no ventilation. I woke up midnight to use their oxygen tubes.
Also there is no dryer although there is a washing machine. Hotel staff said to use their floor heater in the room , and it will dry by morning. Well it did not, cos we couldn’t turn on the heater to too hot since there is already no ventilation.
Booked it thinking it was the chain store of holiday inns international. But for the affordable price, we paid what we get for..

GGuest UserThe B&B is right next to 318, but not on the highway. Instead, it is in a yard a few dozen meters back from the highway. There are a few houses in front of it, which just blocks the noise from passing cars on 318. Parking is easy, almost all rooms face the distant mountain view, and the rooms on the first floor are not damp at all and have no odor. The appearance of the homestay is unremarkable, but the rooms are eye-catching: 1. The standard rooms are large enough, with bright windows, blackout curtains, and rich three-dimensional light sources. 2. Very clean and tidy. 3. The bathroom is spacious, with dry and wet areas separated. Two people can take a bath at the same time. The hand sanitizer is much more convenient than a piece of soap. There is plenty of hot water, and they thoughtfully provide free disposable toilet seats. 4. There are many sockets in the room, enough for two people to use various electronic devices. The ******* proprietress is friendly and enthusiastic.
The restaurant is on the third floor and the kitchen is very clean and tidy. The prepared breakfast includes butter tea, porridge, steamed buns, pickles, and eggs. It is quite pleasant to sit by the window and eat breakfast while enjoying the scenery outside. Having written so much, it seems that I am really satisfied.

AAizuomengdeDingDingThe hotel's location is excellent, right at the foot of Mount Yala. You can see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains. The view is superb, and there's even an oxygen concentrator to help alleviate altitude sickness. The only drawback is the bed. The wooden board next to it is so protruding that it's easy to bump your thigh. It's so rough that it gave me a bruise.

GGuest UserThe lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!
