I never write reviews. This B&B is really worth staying in again in Xiduqiao. The uncle boss was super nice. He helped us with our luggage and gave us butter tea. The room is very big, the facilities are complete and very clean. It's a great value to stay in this room. At this price, I even think it's too cheap compared to other famous hotels. And it's very quiet when sleeping at night. It's super quiet. You can see a temple when you open the window. That’s a big thumbs up~

Guest UserThe hotel room's oxygen supply is not available 24/7—it only starts after 5 PM (they said the equipment requires maintenance). Although the oxygen appears to be working late at night, it feels like the high-altitude sickness and hypoxia return.
I'm not sure if it's just our room or a general issue, but the hot water is inconsistent—it suddenly turns cold for half a second or a second before switching back to hot, repeating this cycle endlessly... Taking a shower was incredibly frustrating.
The floor heating takes forever to warm up, and by late at night, it's just cold and oxygen-deprived, making proper rest impossible.
The breakfast was average, and the restaurant recommended by the front desk staff was decent.

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent and convenient—just a one-minute walk to Liuliu City. They even recommended many delicious restaurants to us, and we didn't miss out on any of them! The front desk staff were very friendly and professional, the breakfast was plentiful, and staff arranged parking as soon as we arrived at the door. Overall, it was a great experience!

Facilities: This is one of the rare B&Bs in Western Sichuan that offers air conditioning, underfloor heating, and oxygen supply! And the AC actually works for cooling!
Perhaps because it's a wooden cabin, it doesn't feel stuffy at all. The hotel I stayed in the night before, the stuffiness gave me terrible altitude sickness.
They also have food like BBQ and pizza, which we thoroughly enjoyed!
Cleanliness: Very clean, really comfortable.
Service: As soon as we arrived, two ******* ladies were already waiting by our car to help with our luggage! And at 11 PM, when we ordered instant noodles and were wondering how to prepare them, the owner offered to make them for us! It was such a lifesaver. In the afternoon, when the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon was happening, and we were napping, the owner even messaged us to remind us to go out and take photos!
This place is truly amazing! Highly recommend for families with dogs! There's a very spacious lawn enclosed with the rooms, so you don't have to constantly watch them. Our three dogs had a blast playing, and we could nap peacefully while they ran around. Plus, it's right at the foot of Mount Yala, which is incredibly beautiful.

The rooms were clean and just right, and they even had an oxygen concentrator. Wearing it while sleeping made me feel so much better, and I was able to tackle 4500 meters the next day with no problem. We booked two rooms, and luckily, they gave us connecting balconies, which made visiting each other super convenient, haha! 😂 I didn't take any room photos, only scenery shots.

Guest UserI didn't have time to take pictures of the interior of the room, so the luggage was placed in a mess. It was the same as the pictures I saw when booking. There was no difference. Because of the altitude, I didn't have to take a shower when I checked in. But fortunately, the room had oxygen supply facilities, which is good in high-altitude areas. Very critical. The room price is not very cost-effective, but I personally am not used to staying in Tibetan-style B&Bs, and the breakfast here is very rich and delicious. Great location, pet friendly, highly recommended

The lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

Guest UserKangding Hot Spring Hotel: A cozy place for your soul to rest
In Kangding, a poetic and mysterious land, Kangding Hot Spring Hotel is like a shining pearl, emitting charming light. This hotel played an indispensable role in making this trip to Kangding so successful, especially the warm and thoughtful service of Manager Zhang, which left me an indelible impression.
When I first arrived at the hotel, fatigue from the long journey was written all over my face. Manager Zhang seemed to see through my tiredness at a glance. He came up to me quickly with a friendly smile. He not only arranged for someone to help me complete the check-in procedures quickly, but also thoughtfully served me a cup of steaming local specialty tea. The rich aroma of tea instantly dispelled my fatigue from the journey and made me feel good about this hotel. He personally led me to the room and patiently introduced the hotel's facilities and services to me along the way, from the restaurant's opening hours and dish features to the different types of pools and opening hours in the hot spring area. Every detail was explained in great detail, as if I was not a first-time guest, but an old friend who had returned home after a long absence.
Walking into the room, the warm and comfortable layout is eye-catching. The decoration in the room combines the ethnic characteristics of Kangding with modern simple style, with harmonious colors and neatly arranged furniture. The bed is soft and tidy, and there are exquisite small ornaments placed at the bedside, demonstrating the hotel's pursuit of quality. After learning that I came to Kangding to enjoy the beautiful scenery, Manager Zhang specially prepared a detailed Kangding travel guide for me, which marked the location, opening hours and travel suggestions of famous attractions in the surrounding area, and even recommended some niche check-in spots that only locals know about. This undoubtedly added more surprises and expectations to my journey.
When it comes to the core feature of the hotel - hot springs, it is even more praised. The hotel's hot spring area is uniquely designed, with indoor and outdoor pools neatly distributed among the garden landscape. There are many types of hot springs, including Chinese medicine hot springs for health preservation, flower petal hot springs for soothing the body and mind, and massage hot springs for complete relaxation. The water temperature is suitable, the water quality is clear, and it is rich in various minerals that are beneficial to the human body. Each hot spring pool is equipped with ample towels, drinks and comfortable lounge chairs, allowing people to feel the meticulous care while enjoying the hot springs. Here, I can relax myself to my heart's content, let the warm spring water soothe every inch of my muscles, wash away the dust and fatigue of the journey, and immerse myself in this tranquility and comfort.
The hotel's dining service is equally excellent. The restaurant's dishes are mainly local specialties, with fresh ingredients and fine cooking. Whether it is the fragrant yak beef soup pot or the unique-tasting barley cake, every dish is unforgettable. Manager Zhang will also recommend suitable dish combinations based on the guests' tastes and needs, and often visit the restaurant in person to ask guests about their dining experience to ensure that every guest can enjoy a satisfactory dining experience.
During the days in Kangding, the weather was changeable, sometimes sunny and sometimes drizzling. I remember one day, I had planned to go out for a trip, but it suddenly started raining heavily. Just when I was feeling a little overwhelmed in the hotel lobby, Manager Zhang appeared again like a timely rain. Not only did he provide me with rain gear, he also helped me re-plan the day's itinerary based on the weather conditions, recommended some attractions and activities suitable for indoor visits, and thoughtfully arranged for the hotel's vehicle to pick me up. His care and concern made me feel extremely warm and secure in this strange city.
During my time at Kangding Hot Spring Hotel, I gained not only a comfortable accommodation experience, but also wonderful memories. Manager Zhang and his team use their enthusiasm and professionalism to create a warm home away from home for every guest. I believe that no matter how time passes, this hotel will be like a beacon, continuing to illuminate the way forward for passing travelers in Kangding, giving them the most caring care and the most unforgettable accommodation experience. I look forward to coming back here one day in the future to relive this beauty and warmth.

Jake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!
