A lovely camp outside the park so getting more amenities for your money. Lovely pool with sunset views was really welcome after a long and dusty safari day. Staff and food very nice as are the individual tents, which were spacious and well maintained and comfortable beds.

Close to Serengeti, Outdoor shower or indoor bath with shower hose whilst kneeling, no shower curtain. good water pressure. Friendly staff, food quite ok, in buffet style . A part tent part house lodge. George our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Infinity pool, in need of a bit of renovation as do the sunloungers. All in all we enjoyed our stay here

Very spacious, clean but basic glamping tent in Karatu. We stayed here in the final night of safari and had a good experience. The food was amazing, staff were lovely and the facilities were great. Given it a 4/5 as it was more basic than other lodges we stayed in, and mosquito net had holes in it.

Absolutely stunning properties... all across Tanzania... curated iterinary... especially Ms. LAXMI... she helped us at evert juncture.. whether it be bookings... food related.. helping with the iterinary... Super cozy rooms.. prompt staff.. lovely and lively atmosphere.... cleanliness 10/10.. food was great too.. All in all.. to the proud owners of simba lodges.

My husband and I did our Kilimanjaro trek and safari for few days after. We stayed at Karatu Simba lodge, we had a wonderful experience. Amazing location, beautiful solar powered cottages, great food and hospitality. Hoping to go back here in future.

Experience at lodge was 5 stars from the welcome to the accommodations. Room was spacious, staff was amazing and they had a special birthday cake for me thanks to the special request made by Happiness and Fadhili from Safari by Z. Only spent one night but it was worth it. The naming of the rooms was very funny. Lunch box for game drive was a 2 stars from the because only two items in the box was appealing to eat especially when cold.
