Hotel itself was nice, only wew were missing a tea pot in room. For this prize and 4 star hotel you would expect this. Otherwise room very big, clean and food at breakfast good. Overall experience is good. We had partly sea view room so that was nice.

the hotel is very clean,little bit "older equipment" in some rooms,but still value the money you pay. Been here twice before (summer/winter) and I think the food in the summer is a little bit better (more choice at dinner time, more fish stuff...),but I understand,some things grow and are products of summer time :) Rooms are always clean, towels are chanced every day...they really provide good service. Indoor pools in Terme Portorož are soooooo cold. Was reading comments from other people,some agree with me. They need to turn up the heating :) :)

Your coffee bar and lobby to the hotel smells of sewage. It is disgusting. Staff are lazy, too few for the number of tables inside and outside, tables not cleaned, left dirty. But the prices are on 5 star level. Avoid this once nice hotel, I am sorry.

Very nice hotel in great location in Portoroz. Booked directly with hotel. Paid € 150/night for room and breakfast. We booked a sea front room. The room was small, like being on a cruise ship. Everything worked well except the internet which was very weak. To get internet I had to open the door to the hallway and get a signal. The room had a balcony which gave us a beautiful view over the bay. The bed was comfortable and pillows were cushy. Breakfast buffet was typical and had everything one could want. A unique feature was barley coffee, which tasted terrible, but must be popular with somebody. This is a convention hotel and there were a group from Belgrade staying there. The hotel has a thermal bath which was the reason to book it. The whole complex is several hotels, we stayed at the Portoroz because it has the thermal bath. The next time I would stay at the Riveria hotel I. The same complex. The Riviera has the salt water heated pool. We found this pool warmer and more airy than the thermal bath. We did not eat dinner at the hotel. We ate across the street at a small family restaurant, the Pompol grill. It was on the harbor, very good grilled fish and very reasonable prices.

Super hotel. Had a great spacious room with a balcony and sea view. Very comfortable bed and very soft pillows for a great night's sleep. Nice selection of food for breakfast and dinner all self serving buffet style. Selection of juice and coffee from self served machines. Now the down side - at dinner if you did not want a glass of wine or beer you had to buy a bottle of water and no coffee was provided after your dinner. Juice and coffee machines were disconnected. No tea or coffee facilities in your room also. Would have given 5 stars otherwise. Apart from that a very nice room and great hotel on the front a short walk to the the promenade - bars etc.
