Hotels Near Werderpl. in Karlsruhe

I was originally staying at another hotel for the duration of my holiday to visit some friends in Karlsruhe, but ended up getting the dates mixed and needed an extra night at a hotel. The price for the one night stay I had was really affordable, and it was not a long way from my friends. Even if the stay was only for one night, the hotel and the room itself was really nice! The staff was nice and helpful as well, which made my check-in and check-out very pleasant! The area was nice and quiet, and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel considering it was only for one night!

Good location for a four star hotel. The hotel is close to the commercial area and the surrounding environment is also very good. Calling a taxi from the main fire is almost 9 euros. The hotel is very hygienic and the front desk staff is very friendly. The hotel is fully equipped with a gym. It’s just that the texture of the interior decoration is better. Later, Karu will choose to live here.

The hotel is easy to access via public transport with a good location central to the things you want to see in Karlsruhe. I had a nice, quiet room overlooking the back courtyard and the bathroom was clean and modern. Complimentary breakfast and a very nice sauna!

Plus: + Value for money as such but largely depending on what deal one can make. + Reception - friendly and efficient. + City Center + Public transport (with a trade off - see under minus) + Breakfast OK but just + Bar service - coffee service excellent + Room very good equipped + Clean + Excellent but expensive garage-parking. Minus: - The Airconditioning is a bad joke! Does not work but they offer you a (good working) ventilator instead! - Avoid if possible the rooms at the frontside corner. A continuous flow of traffic and loud Trams are passing. It’s impossible to open a window without running the risk of hearing damage!

Positives: The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. Check-in went smoothly and the staff was very professional and clear in how everything worked around the hotel. The breakfast was very nice as well! I had an early check-out which happened some hours after the refund was available, which really wasn’t an issue for me, so I was glad that the early check-out was possible regardless of refund was possible or not. During my fuss in my check-out, I had forgotten an item of clothing and had gone back the following day around midday to see if the clothing had been found. At the time it hadn’t been found and I gave my contact information in case they wanted to contact me in that regard. They did end up finding the item of clothing and were quick to let me know, so I could figure out when to get it. I know it’s all part of the profession, but I am really thankful that they were quick to inform me. Negatives: The hotel is fairly close to the train station, so there’s a lot of honking in the evening/night, which gave me some frights from time to time when I had gone to bed. Overall: I really enjoyed my stay regardless of the trains honking and the early check-out situation. The staff were very understanding and helpful!

Reise meine Frau unser Hund und ich. das Hotel liegt wie alle InterCity Hotels nahe Bahnhof Karlsruhe. Es ist eines der neuen Hotel der H-Rewards Gruppe. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr modern. Alles halt noch neu und modern. Bequeme Betten und sehr gutes Badezimmer. Viele haben geschrieben, die Lüftung Badezimmer sehr laut. Dies scheint man inzwischen in Griff bekommen zu haben. Auch gutes TV mit vielen Programmen. Frühstück habe ich als Goldmember Inklusive und für meine Frau einen Gutschein. Ist Gut, aber könnte besser sein. Da hat es mir im InterCity Dresden besser gefallen. Aber ich denke mehr wegen Personal mangel. Ich bin Gold Status Member. Wir sind angekommen und wurden etwas trocken empfangen, gleich mit dem Vermerk es geht noch nicht. Ja ist mir klar gewesen. Wollte nur meinen Koffer abgeben, und wir sind dann unseren Ausflug machen gegangen. Als wir um 17Uhr ins Hotel gekommen sind, wurden wir eingecheckt. Ich habe extra um late check out gebeten, was uns auch bestätigt wurde. Als wir in das Zimmer gekommen sind, mussten wir feststellen, dass: 1) Das Zimmer nur für eine Person eingerichtet wurde (Eine Bettdecke, ein Kopfkissen, ein Handtuch). 2) Goldmember kein Begrüßung goodies vorhanden. Sind schon enttäuscht gewesen. Habe dies an der Rezeption bemängelt. Ja wir haben dann alles nachbekommen, aber es ist sehr schade. Man hat mir gesagt, Personalmangel. Verstehe ich auf der einen Seite, aber wenn es die Stammkunden Gold oder auch die Platin Kunden zu spüren bekommen, ist dies echt nicht gut. Ich habe daher mal einen Punkt abgezogen. Aber man hat die Frust anderer Gäste an der Rezeption live noch mitbekommen. So hat sich ein anderer Gast beschwert. Vor allen die dastanden. Ich hätte diesen freundlich nach hinten gebeten und es geklärt. Wie gesagt. Modern und neu. Aber es ist Luft nach oben.

Wir waren in einer Gruppe von 12 für 2 Nächte in 12 einzeln genutzten Zimmern Anfang Mai 2022 dort. Zudem hatten wir 2 halbe Tage einen Meeting room mit Service angemietet. Ich habe solche Treffen schon öfters organisiert und kann daher feststellen, dass zum ersten Mal alles funktioniert hat. Alle Anschriften, Rechnungen und organisatorische Vorbereitungen passten vorzüglich. Die Zimmer waren modern, nicht überladen, sehr funktional und sauber. Der Check in sowie die dortige Betreuung während des gesamten Aufenthaltes war absolut top. Das Frühstücks-Buffet war überraschend umfangreich und abwechslungsreich. Die Bar wurde zwar „nur“ von der Rezeption mitbedient, reichte aber absolut aus. Dieses Haus ist für Städte-Reisende und Geschäftsreisende gleichermaßen empfehlenswert.

This is a old fashioned split level apartment. The bedroom is upstairs, accessible by a half staircase which may be difficult to manage for elderly people or those with limited mobility. Even for the sprightly care must be taken when descending in the night, eg to go to the bathroom. Otherwise the bedroom is nice, with a tv and a skylight. Downstairs the half-staircase ends in the little hallway with suitcase rack, a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower (old german style), and a small kitchenette with microwave and two hobs and refrigerator. The provided crockery and pots were clean and everything worked ok. The front room is a small sitting room with tv, two rather worn (with peeling plastic covers) chairs, and two tables. There was also a very small balcony with two plastic chairs. So everything was there, it was just a bit old fashioned and some things were a bit worn. Overall however it was clean and functional.

The hotel opened the day before, so there is still a building atmosphere in one or two corners, especially outside. Location in an unattractive mixed-use commercial area, easy to reach by car, the nearest tram is about 300m away. The rooms and the hotel are modern and chic, we also liked the way the breakfast was presented and the selection. The Hipster Studio we booked has a small kitchenette with a fridge, and Bluetooth speakers for the smartphone are also useful. However, the Hipster Studio is definitely not the 32 sqm listed! Mostly friendly staff. In summary, we liked it, and it is currently good value for money.

The location is very good, because not in the city but also not too far from the city. The cinema is also not far. Breakfast is sufficient and for everyone there. Rooms are beautiful and well equipped, but unfortunately there is no closet where you can eventually stack the bag. But is actually no problem, there is a clothes or something like clothes. The bathroom offers a furnace, hygiene bag, towels and shampoo with shower gel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are enough parking facilities next to the hotel and nearby.
