Hotel is in located in a residential area which I loved as you can see how the locals live. Nice owners. Has a beautiful lobby! Room was basic but has all the things you need. Fast wifi and great cool aircon. Much needed in the hot summer days in Kashgar!

Stayed here with friends. We all booked individual rooms. The host and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, it is near to the old town. You can also book some great day trips through the host’s brother, we chose not to due to time constraints but they looked incredible. Toiletries are provided in the bathroom. Room decor was nice and there is an AC. The different light settings was a nice touch. We visited a lot of the tourist attractions in Kashgar and the hotel was pretty central.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jiangyun, our room was comfortable, clean, big and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a beautiful traditional building, and within walking distance or a very cheap DIDI ride to all attractions. The best part about our stay was the kindness and friendliness of Yan and Rukia, they went out of their way to provide information for us and help organise onward travel to Kyrgyzstan. Yan speaks good English and with his adept use of a translator app we were able to communicate on all topics.
When we couldn’t find a cooking course in Kashgar Yan organised a neighbourhood chef to come and teach us how to make steamed buns, in the guesthouse kitchen, it was great fun!

The hotel was very clean and hygienic, with excellent attention to detail. The service stood out as exceptionally warm and enthusiastic, making my stay very pleasant. In terms of value, it offers outstanding cost-effectiveness compared to similar places.
What makes it even more special is its location in the old city center—the authentic part of town, which I highly recommend visiting. Each time I returned, I was warmly welcomed by the hotel owner, his wife, and his employee, which made me feel truly at home. The owner speaks good English and is extremely helpful—he not only assisted me with purchasing train tickets but also offered to arrange my visits and itinerary.
This personal touch, combined with the genuine hospitality, makes the hotel an excellent choice for international travelers. Overall, it was a comfortable and worry-free experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming stay.
