Absolutely beautiful swimming pool, but there it ends for me,rooms are tired and in need of renovation, bedding on website was duvet but was a horrible uncomfortable cover on the bed,bed and pillows were also not comfortable, i had trouble sleeping most nights.... breakfast included (turkish style),if you like cheese, bread olives and jams you'll be fine and the orange juice is not included.. its 160 TL a glass, never seen that before.... hotel was clean...younger staff were more friendly and so was the pool guy Ali he was super friendly... worst for me was on checkin i had booked 2 stays both continuous and asked to stay in the same room as i know they were different when i booked, they said that was ok but on the 4th day they told me i had to pack up and move, and when i got to new room it was being cleaned.... i wont return sorry

We have just come back after staying 10 nights at the Dalyan resort/Live Spa, in Dalyan, Ortaca, Turkey. I guess in summary this Hotel does what Dalyan does best, it’s super chilled relaxed quiet, and I must admit we have had a wonderful holiday staying at this hotel. We’ve been going to Dalyan for nearly 20 years But we always stayed the other end of town at a small family run hotel. Sadly due to Covid, they sold up and moved back to Istanbul so we had to chance staying at another hotel having loved our previous one so much. I’m really pleased to say that we were really delighted with our choice, staying at the Dalyan resort. Check-in was super quick and easy and we were shown to our room by the wonderful Ali - who is mentioned so many times in other reviews… The rooms are really nice. I would say that they are quite compact and bijou. There is not much room in them but they are functional. I guess if you’re organised and tidy it works fine. Super walk-in shower with a separate toilet and a wash hand basin in the middle. The beds are super comfy and the bed linen is beautiful. I must also mention the air conditioning in the room. The air-conditioning machine is brilliant. It’s very efficient and during the night if you want to put the fan on low, you can hardly hear it and it keeps the room lovely and cool. It was 33- 36 degrees° while we’re out here in June And boy you need good air conditioning. One word of caution, if you happen to have a ground floor room with a terrace, and you get someone staying in a room above you, you will hear a bit of noise. We didn’t have anyone for the first three days and then we had somebody move in above us and we did notice a difference… no problems sleeping during the night though - most folk were really considerate of the other guests which is something I really love and appreciate…. Breakfasts are amazing!! I loved breakfasts.… There is such a range, and although it is open 8 to 10, they don’t mind you coming a little early and grabbing a coffee. There are inside tables but loads of tables outside round the pool and down by the river. Watch for the mosquitoes though! There is an omelette fried egg station outside then you have a cereal bar with lots of yoghurt, et cetera then you have the usual cheese, cold meat salad tomatoes cucumbers et cetera Then you have a hot plate which has some pastries and some savoury pastries and then you have a big selection of bread and a toast machine. There’s also two fabulous coffee machines which makes great coffee and your usual Turkish tea and English tea. So between all that there really is a massive selection. It’s a buffet style breakfast and the staff are very attentive literally as soon as you put a plate down, it’s whipped away. The bar is beside the non-spa section. We were staying in the spa section. That confused me a little bit why it’s called two different hotel names but really in fact it is just one hotel with two pools. We were on a ground floor roo

We have been going to dalyan for 16yrs and dalyan resort and spa for the last 3years twice a year, just returned after 16 nights and still not long enough. A big Thank you to Ali of course and the beautiful Arzu on reception and the lovely sweet Karem on night duty who helped us on our 1st night and greeted us every night with his lovely smile. Even came to see us off after his shift. Anyone thinking of booking please do. I'm a fuss pot but it's amazing.

Looked into both hotels before booking(Dalyan hotel and Dalyan Spa) Thought they were 2 separate sites but when got there realised they are “all in one site” just separated by the reception room in between. Booked the “spa hotel” as bedroom decor looked nicer and more modern. Communication with hotel via WhatsApp/email prior arrival was very efficient and courteous. Positive points: -location is right by river, 10/15minutes walk to nearest bars, restaurants, shops. 30minutes walk to the town harbour. -Hotel has free boat trip to Turtle beach 2x week leaving hotel in the morning and back in the afternoon. -All the “ground”staff” , Turkish and mostly youngsters from Bali and Nepal doing the summer season, were very polite and attentive, despite their very limited english . Ali , who has been there for 20 years , can be seen working everywhere from dawn to dusk . Very friendly and attentive guy , always greeting and helping guests, asking how holiday is going , offering local advice . He should be promoted to Hotel manager as he’s actually the one who takes care of most things in hotel and really looks after its guests !!! Negative points : -breakfast options were limited for the non Turkish . There was a bowl of yoghurt with few chopped fruits in it . No separate fruit salad or fresh fruit platter . There were sliced watermelon and only a bowl with whole oranges , apples , plums that were visibly covered in dust . There is an omelette station . No cold drinks options at all ( only water ) unless you wanted to pay extra for their “organic” orange or pomegranate juice!!! - you’ll have also to pay £10 extra every time you wish to use the sauna/plunge pool . You are already paying more to stay in their “Spa” side of hotel and still have to pay extra to use sauna !!! Rip-off!!!! - You will be having your meals in same restaurant in “hotel side” and use “hotel side”bar , which are not “adults only” ! The bar/restaurant barbecue area, table tennis , lounge room of “spa side “ was “abandoned “ . Guess they only use them when hotels are at full capacity?! - there was no air con in gym. It was raised with manager on first day of stay after being told by other staff that it had been broken. Manager “strongly “ said it wasn’t broken , that you have to use the remote control to put it on yourself every time you want to use it !!! We tried again but nothing. Reported again to manager who said he would ask engineer to look at it. Nothing done throughout our week stay!!! So gym also unusable unless you wanted to do your workout and have a free sauna at same time… and risk to pass out with dehydration unless you had bought your water from hotel ( explanation below) -we have witnessed an elderly couple been humiliated and told off in hotel reception for walking into hotel with a carrier bag with 2 bottles of water in it . Manager took them outside to point it out a sign board by front door that says “no drinks or food bought outside to be brought int

What can I say amazing , relaxing holiday . Highly recommend this hotel. the grounds are beautiful and the river views are fantastic. The suite we stayed in was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a very calm and enjoyable experience. The pool areas where spotless never any issues with sunbeds, parasols and clean towels provided each day. If the pool area was busy Ali would sort out a bed and parasol but this didn't happen often . The staff where outstanding especially John at the bar nothing was to much trouble he was a gem , Ali best pool guy ever !! and not forgetting Shamus always recommending things to try for lunch always with a smile. All made our holiday much more special. The hotel also has a great SPA recommend the Turkish bath and hot stone and reflexology massages. The hotel is in a great location 10mins walk into the town . Will definitely return.

Air conditioning to gym does not work & has not done so since arrival. It is extremely hot & uncomfortable to train in there. Other prior residents advised it was not working during their stay too! To some this is an important facility for their holiday. Reception advised two days ago an engineer was called but still not fixed!

Just returned from an excellent week long stay at Dalyan Resort. The location of the hotel is beautiful, it being located on a bend in the Dalyan river, facing wooded hills and a rocky out crop. The hotel gardens are a well maintained paradise too. The pool area is lovely and there was no issue getting a lounger. I must give a huge shout out to Ali who was so friendly and attentive, making sure that we always had a lounger and shade. Also, the pool bar guy (sorry, didn't catch your name) was also friendly and helpful. The bar prices were more expensive than many other places though. We had a family room on in ten Resort part of the hotel. The room was fine, good shower and air-conditioning plus comfy beds. It had a couple of minor issues such a dodgy light switch and no bathroom lock. The Turkish breakfast had a great selection including an fresh omelette bar. All staff were friendly maybe apart from the odd one on reception. Basically, we had a great stay and I would recommend the hotel.
