Poor poor customer service. Harassed to pay room tax even a note under our room door. My wife and I were threatened with the police during a dispute re the bill. My wife has dementia you can imagine what effect this had on her. If you’ve heard the expression all fur coat and no knickers you’ll know what I mean when I say things like swim up pools but nowhere to hang wet towels and swim wear except on the back of the patio chairs. No toilet roll holder had to place it on bathroom bin. That’s normal in Greece apparently!? Do I look stupid? I asked when I got that reply. Jet2 were equally poor when responding to our complaint and therefore we shall not be holidaying with them ever again. By the way this is the first review good or bad I have ever posted and only because my wife is now in care and I have time on my hands. Normally I go ce la vie and forget about it and move on. Just shows how I still feel about as it was 6 months ago. Make of it what you will.

We had an excellent time at Pacifae. Our room was really spacious, very comfortable with a beautiful balcony with lovely views over the pool and sea in the background. The rooms and poolside were modern and stylish. There was space to hang your clothes and you can fold your clothes up on the shelves so that was perfect for us. Breakfast was provided and there was something to cover everyone. Simple but very nice. We went half board and thought it was great value for money, 3 courses were included as an evening meal and the portion sizes were generous with lots of options and specials. Good location, short walk from a basic supermarket and 20 mins down to the beach. You don't even need to go to the beach to appreciate the views tho. From the pool the stunning panoramic views were unlike anywhere we have stayed before. Best of all really though are the staff. They made a conscious effort to remember our names, keep an eye on how we are doing and make sure we were well taken care of. Jules & Costas we're great! The two ladies on the bar made some killer cocktails for us too (sorry can't remember your names). We didn't hire a car but if we were to come again we would go do some more exploring.

Wonderful stay at Pacifae golden village and will hope to go back again. Had a refurbished swim up room - lovely - basic but nice. Breakfast basic but fine. Good walk onto the front with plenty tavernas. No idea what others meant about music round the pool being loud - it was lovely and just right level. Staff excellent and friendly. Only criticism was a bbq night which felt expensive compared to other meals we had there, and was cold. Was told could keep revisiting but it had all gone after first round of people. Fantastic pool and swim up room. Was just what we needed and will return. One large worry was that there was no first aid kit at the hotel after someone fell.

Good location, friendly staff, decent but repetitive breakfast. We had a top floor room so 51 steps up from pool/bar/restaurant. Our room was sparsely furnished with a comfortable bed, one chair, shelves and a low rail - no wardrobe or drawers - we lived out of suitcases which was not ideal. The shower room was equally sparsely but with hot water and frequent towel changes. I believe other rooms were better equipped, just our bad luck

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at the Pacifae, this is our home from home, everyone at the hotel are like old friends and can’t do enough for us. Rooms are lovely and the hotel food is delicious. This hotel is very relaxing with a lovely fun atmosphere. We meet lots of people that like us return every year so that says it all!!! Thanks again everyone at The Pacifae for a lovely holiday, see you next year. Love The Hanafin’s xxx

This hotel is described on Jet2 website as 'Embodies tranquillity'. Unfortunately it has a Tiki Bar which plays loud music most of the afternoon and Evening until Midnight. It is also close to the busy road and has next to useless Wi-Fi. Avoid if you want a peaceful break.

Well there was no safe, no fast WiFi it was very intermittent. The breakfast was poor compared to other hotels and the food generally was poor quality. There was no coffee or tea in the room but the room was a very generous size and very clean. The pool area was excellent and the staff lovely. €50 for 5 extra hrs before leaving was a rip off. They didn't tell you there was a shower and changing area you could use free on the premises first. Only found that out later.

All the staff were great, very friendly & helpful. A very tidy hotel. Could do with more storage in the rooms. We were on b&b basis. Breakfast was decent. Had a couple of evening meals & not very impressed. Quiet expensive & meat very overcooked.

Just back from 14 days here and picking up on other reviews. DOWNDSIDES WIFI-- only around pool and dining area but even sporadic.Signal doesn't reach roomand on very odd occassions it reaches balcony frequently drops out. All in all pretty much a waste of time. SUNLOUNGERS--strong and sturdy but mattresses so thin its like lying on the wood. If you dont want a numb bum or bad back bring an inflatable ring/cushion/pool lilo or all of them. SHOWER-- if you're looking forward to a hot shower after a day out, be back in your room by 6p.m. or your water will, at best, be lukewarm and pressure low. IN ROOM SAFE--big enough for a couple of phones and a wallet but not big enough for a tablet or travel wallet also not bolted down to anything. POOLSIDE MUSIC--hotel must have the biggest base amplifier on the island, way too loud If you want to listen to your own music or lounge on a bed with a drink listening to SILENCE then book elsethis isn' the place for you. POOLSIDE SERVICE--waitress always pushing the "Hard sell"whether it's drinks, cocktails or booking the restaurant for evening meal, tries too hard which puts people off. UPSIDES STAFF--friendly and helpfull in the main, see remark above. Maid service and clean towels every day but pool towels once a week. LOCATION-- good for a 20 min walk down main road to harbour (where many of the restaurants and tavernas are). Mostly good pavements and majority well lit but some dark areas so bring a torch. DRINK PRICES--at pool bar slightly more expensive than other places but not excessive for a hotel. SHORTCUT-- out of rear of hotel taking you to main road ( with a good tavern PERSAS part way along . see sperate review.
