Days Inn by Wyndham Kendal Killington Lake ★★★
"It's a service station Hotel which has got the standard McDonald's Costa ect however not near much else for the money you pay only worth it for the lake which is stunning. The hotel receptionist was lovely and friendly the room was a little disappointing, bath very shallow and wall tiles painted white with what looks like either the wrong kind of paint or cheap tile paint as all peeling off so if it had been 20 pounds cheaper I would have felt like I got what I paid for overall not bad and bed was very comfortable."
Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, BW Premier Collection ★★★★
"服務:不錯的 設施:房內設施都正常,不過冇冷氣,雪櫃要提早request 食物:木有機會品嚐 位置:深山老林之中,酒店泊車位唔多"
Gilpin Bridge Inn ★★★★
"Friendly staff, ready to help and make your stay brilliant. Great place with plenty of parking, bar, restaurant and well appointed rooms."
Stonecross Manor Hotel ★★★★
"The environment and sanitation are very good. The only problem is that the old house has no elevator. However, the service is very good and the breakfast is also good. You need to book a seat and come down on time to eat."
The Wild Boar ★★★★
"Delicious breakfast, great environment"
Travelodge Kendal Town Centre ★★★
"Located, just a short walk from the town centre. Easy to park. Small but clean rooms."
The Lodge @ Carus Green ★★★
"Myself and my partner had our engagement party at Carus green golf club and what a night staff where amazing and where there to help if we needed anything. After the party we stayed in carus house and I must say it was 10 out of 10. I want to say thank you to Margarita who helped every step of the was and thanks to Shelly and Sarah for helping us organise the room and thanks to all the girls in the office"
The Lakeland Kendal Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW ★★★
"Comod needs fixing. It was disgustingly awful."
Premier Inn Kendal Central ★★★
"Paid full price of £96 for the night. On arrival we were informed the dining area was undergoing maintenance and was closed. No breakfast other than a sad selection of not very much. On top of this the car park was also closed and we were advised to park elsewhere for another expense to ourselves. Absolutely disgusted with the stay."

"Spent the weekend here for Kendal music festival and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name) is a lovely women, very helpful and attentive and the room was very well presented and had everything we needed, plus little added extras which made it so much more. The cooked breakfast was beautiful with fresh fruits, cereals, crackers and cheese. The guesthouse is a 10/15 minute walk into Kendal and we will certainly be back next year 😉"

The Punchbowl Country Inn
"Amazing food and amazing service! highly recommend this place, especially the Sunday roast! I had the beef and then apple crumble for dessert, it was unreal!"
The Gateway Inn
"We recently stayed at The Gateway Inn on our way up to Scotland. On checking in, we were asked if we would like to book a table for dinner, as long as it was an early booking, as they were busy that evening. This we happily accepted, as we preferred to eat early. Off we went for the afternoon to Windermere, passing many eating places, but rushed back to the Inn deliberately, in time for our reservation. On presenting ourselves for dinner, we were bluntly told there was no table booked in, but we could have a table much later. We explained that we had booked a table on arrival that afternoon, having been asked if we would like to eat in their restaurant, and were actually given menus to take up to our room earlier to help us pre decide. We also explained that we only wanted one course for dinner (the sunday roast) and wouldn't be in the restaurant very long. The member of staff said he would go and ask the chef, but returned immediately saying the answer was a resounding 'no'. No consideration was given to the fact that we had prebooked and no apology offered. The only choice was a late table ( not acceptable, as I cannot eat late, due to a medical condition) and as new visitors to The Lake Distirict, we were forced to make our way out again into the wet windy Sunday evening to find dinner. I wouldn'thave minded but we had already been out previously and would have found a restaurant earlier. Would we revisit the Gateway Inn...no. Would we book a table, if asked by the staff if we wanted a reservation? ....definateley not, not unless you triple checked your booking and then triple checked it again!! "
