Jacob Ohalo Kinneret
"I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights as part of an academic writing retreat. The location is actually quite good—right on the shores of the Kinneret, which is especially pleasant in February. The hotel also features extensive gardens, and its nice to roam around. I really enjoyed spending time there with colleagues, sitting by the Kinneret and talking. The rooms, however, are extremely basic. Even the desk was just a wooden plank attached to the wall. Cleaning left something to be desired, with a strong smell of cheap cleaning solution lingering in the room. I saw the upgraded rooms and they are not much better, either. The restaurant was decent, serving both breakfast and dinner, and the food was fine overall."
Leonardo Hotel Tiberias
"The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Our room (superior with a Sea View) was spacious and functional. It is an older hotel so the furniture design is out of date. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety. We also got a late check out. There is plenty of public parking on the street. We enjoyed our stay. This was March 2025 during the Hamas war, so there were not many tourists there at all"
Galei Kinneret Hotel
"The pictures online look great but the rooms, hallways, pool chairs and common areas needs some major TLC!! We changed rooms right when we arrived (did not like the second floor with filthy lounge chairs and barely a view). We were moved to a higher floor. The two rooms we were in were not the cleanest. The bathroom had a black hair stuck to the door with an added bonus of pink lipstick smear by the door handle. The paint was chipping and the extra lounge was quite dirty. The furniture was worn and marked up. I felt I needed to wear the slippers while in the room. Common area couches and pool loungers were dirty and were screaming to be cleaned! The hallways to the rooms were disgusting and stained. Now to the good part….breakfast buffet was great and the Lotte restaurant was excellent. I like nice places and maybe this is one of the nicest in the area….I would hate to see the average places."
Magdala Hotel
Leonardo Club Tiberias - All Inclusive
"A nice place for children, a pool, a game room, and everything included is recommended"
Prima Galil Tiberias Hotel
"The highlight of this hotel a the outdoor swimming pool which has an amazing view over the Sea of Galilee and also a nice outdoor seating area. The hotel is twenty minutes walk down a steep hill to the waterfront. The breakfast buffet was substantial with an excellent variety. The only downside was there were no coat hangers or towel rails in the bathroom meaning there was nowhere to hang your wet swimsuits. "
U Boutique Kinneret by the Sea of Galilee
"The hotel was amazing and we got an upgrade straight away. Yonatan and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was great and the facilities were clean and looked after. Will definitely be back for a visit to u boutique!!!!"
Leonardo Plaza Hotel Tiberias
"Perfect services. I loved the wake up call. That was perfect. Good place . Moses with the fountains at night. A perfect view."
Astoria Galilee Hotel
"We loved staying at the Astoria Galilee The place was spotless! Even though it was off season they used a machine to clean the pool, so that the guests whose rooms faced the pool would have a nice view. There is a private parking lot with plenty of room ttyo park. The hotel is located on a quiet street, but is walking distance ftom dozens of eateries. The boardwalk is only a 15 minute walk away. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great! There were plenty of towels, little shampoos, soap dispensers near the sink and in the bathtub. There was an restriction kettle and tea and coffee plus a fridge in each room. We were very comfortable. The place has a family inn feel, the staff care, there is a piano in the lobby, a library corner, a little garden etc. The price was fantastic! We would definitely come again!"

Sofia Hotel Sea of Galilee
"Very different hotel from the run of the mill hotels Good breakfast and magnificent infinity pool and well equipped gym. Good parking and very friendly staff in reception. The hotel is of a high standard and a new hotel Highly recommend Nice view of the Sea of Galilee from the roof top terrace on the 7 th floor"
The Scots Hotel
"This hotel is located close to the lake shore near the historical center of Tiberias. It occupies several buildings, and the rooms in the old Doctor House, despite probably having old-fashioned interior facilities, are, in my opinion, preferable as they fully capture the atmosphere of the place. The hotel offers excellent views of the Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee), the Holon Heights on the opposite bank, and lush greenery in the hotel’s garden, creating a memorable impression. The property features its own pool and spa facilities, including various massage treatments. It also boasts excellent dining options in the hotel restaurants and wine bar. The service is of a high standard. Overall, it’s a good choice for a short vacation and a convenient base for exploring the Galilee region."
Caesar Premier Tiberias Hotel
"The hotel is very clean and maintenance is exelent. All hotel departments give excellent service. The food is tasty and varied. Nice spa and nice outside family pool. We enjoyed it."
Tiberia Hotel
"The Tiberia hotel is perfect for location ,food and facilities and we enjoy stayed there. GBU"
Gai Beach Hotel
"The hotel have big problem treating disabled parking. The hotel prefer the privileged!! causing the disabled park far away (in my case I had to walk 200 meters in 40 degrees c). It is especially disappointing because the room and the food is quite OK."
Royal Plaza Hotel
"My family and I stayed at the Royal Plaza Tiberias on 28 February to 1 March 2023. The hospitality of this hotel is very good, especially the manager who is still young and welcomes us. this is one of the hotels that I recommend when staying in Tiberias. staff service is very satisfying. lots of food choices. spacious room. responsive porter. although the water in the bathroom is always stagnant and needs repair, overall the hotel is good. the location is a bit far from downtown but the rooms are comfortable. the dining area is a bit cramped for groups. clean rooms and floors. guests with wheelchairs are not a problem. my family and I have stayed at this hotel several times and their standards regarding quality have not changed. it's just that the souvenir shop in the lobby is rarely opened. there is a small bar in the lobby with ample selection of drinks. i am happy to stay in this hotel."
David Hostel
"This is a nice place away from the big impersonal hotels that cater to group tours. We had a nice room with balcony and private bath. Our host David was great. He gave us tea and a snack of dates on arrival and answered questions about our trip. I loved the pot of coffee waiting for us each morning. There was parking behind the house it was about a 15 minute walk to city center. I highly recommend the Israeli breakfast. It was healthy and wonderful!"
Kinorot Hotel
"hi i stayed at your hotel this past Shabbos and had the worst experience i ever had in a hotel.please understand that for anyone living in a decent normal apartment staying in you hotel is a downgrade in every way imaginable the rooms are small stuffy and uglythe beds are the source of an instant backache the pillows or marshmallows are a source of a 3 day migraine headachehow could anyone call this a vacationthe hospital in which my wife gave birth in had very similar accommodations"
