Danba Hotels with Kitchens

"It's excellent! I visited Danba over ten years ago, and it's completely transformed since then. The accommodation here has improved dramatically compared to back then! This guesthouse boasts a superb location and a strong ethnic vibe. The balcony view is also fantastic, and the complimentary ******* clothing experience was a wonderful touch!"

"The host and his family were incredibly kind. They helped us carry our car full of luggage upstairs. They're pet-friendly; we brought our cat with us for free, and the hostess looked at it lovingly. The hostess's dog wasn't shy at all, even lying on the floor with its belly exposed. The room was spotless; the mother wiped the floor with a tissue, leaving no dirt. What a kind family! I wish you all the best!"

"We stayed for two nights and the view from the room is stunning. The tibetan-styled decoration is amazing and makes all the difference, but there were also a few downsides which I have to mention. - For someone that does not speak Chinese, it is very hard to find. So we will write here how we did: from Tagong we took a shared vehicle to Bamei. From there, we took another shared vechicle to Danba, and from Danba, there are rural shared vehicles that will take you to Jiaju. I attach the image of the road sign where you need to get off. There is an entry fee to Jiaju town. - Regarding this rural vehicle, comes the biggest disappointment of our stay, as we asked the owner of the hotel to call a vehicle for us (there is no other way to leave) and he replied “you can look for yourself and if you cannot find one, I will help you”… without a Chinese phone number and without speaking Chinese, it is impossible to call a local driver. So we mentioned this, and he called one driver. When we asked how much we should pay, he say 50 yuan for two people, same as he told us to pay on the way here, but his wife was there and got very angry at him because the real price was 15 yuan per person, and he was part of the rip off. The lady was very friendly and helpful, on the other side, so we want to thank her for her help as she tried to help us. Despite this, we still reccommend you to come as it is a beautiful place and there are walking paths that you can use to walk everywhere in town. The shared toilet was not a problem, hot water works well."

"It was a rather unexpected B&B. The owner directly upgraded the room to a starry sky terrace room. The boss is simple and honest. Since it is the off-season and there is only our family there, he said the place is empty anyway. The location is excellent, overlooking the entire ******* village, the yard is full of flowers, and parking is available. There are also a few cats, very cute"

"Just like other reviews, the owners' warm hospitality made me feel right at home, prompting even someone like me who doesn't like writing reviews to leave this rambling positive review. I booked the cheapest room type, and luckily, only the smallest room was left, which was just right (and very clean). I checked in late at night, and the auntie proactively came downstairs to cook two ears of corn and gave me some local apples. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful, and they even gave me a large bag of apples before I left. My trip to Western Sichuan was just a fleeting moment for me, a Shandong native. I've stayed in much more expensive, larger, and smarter hotels since then, but so far, only this guesthouse has left a truly lasting impression. Hope to return someday!"

"The first time I ate a meal in Tibetan area that suits my taste, I had to lose a few pounds to play in Tibetan areas. This time I guess it’s all long. The proprietress is beautiful and capable. I will find my wife in the future. It’s fine. His brother’s cooking is also delicious. Although it rained for a few days, it didn’t last. I went to the party age, but I witnessed a Tibetan wedding in the village. It is a good experience to have a chance next time."

"Maybe I am ignorant. After staying in so many hotels and B&Bs, this is the first time I have stayed in a B&B that pays so much attention to details. There are many emergency items in the cabinets in the rooms, such as wind oil, Band-Aids, women's toilets, and even hairpins and rubber bands are all free to use. Other major facilities are also very comprehensive. There is free parking. It rained last night, and the owner even made ginger tea for my girlfriend and helped with the luggage. What else can you ask for when you are away from home? A homestay that works hard"

"我個人很喜歡藏式風格，這次本在丹巴中轉，但查到中路藏寨比甲居藏寨好，便想着在山上找個民宿，於是有了這個經歷1.看過之前客人評論及照片，都屬實，且村上井樹還在一點點變的更好2.初到時晚上將近21:30，老闆大哥出來接我跟着他才到院裏，起初看這黑區麻拱的其他民宿燈火通明，心裏還有點存疑“是不是黑店”哪衹柳暗花明又一村，轉角見到光，原來他們還沒完善大門燈燈箱招牌這些（可見之前客人發的晚上照片，能見實際效果）3.交通，丹巴縣城到店裡從一段省道轉到上山的村道，鋪裝路面，上山路有路燈，好走，但是新手注意彎多且有部分地方不容易會車4.房間居住，我和老婆很滿意，第一次在衞生間見到這種電子的花灑5.早上起來參觀了下全景，很符合我的喜好，下次還要找個機會去多待幾天"

"I really want to thank the boss for helping us solve the transportation in and out of Danba! The road to the B&B is under construction, and it will be easier to get in and out after it is repaired. There are real buildings, apple trees and sacred mountain scenery in the B&B. Boss look at me Greedy apples, let me pick a few, they are indeed sour and crispy that I like feel.
