"For a hotel that normally costs 700-800 RMB and over 1000 RMB during the Chinese New Year, the room facilities were rather basic. Even for an apartment-style hotel, the peeling cabinet doors and generic bathroom fixtures felt extremely incongruous with the price. In stark contrast, the hot spring facilities were much newer than those at Guxiang Hotel, with many more pools. We didn't bring any children, but if you do, the children's area would be a paradise.
The booking stated that the room had three pools of water included, but according to the water meter reading, it should have been enough for at least five, so we definitely wouldn't have used them all. The rice noodle rolls at breakfast were delicious, but the queue was incredibly long. There was actually another rice noodle roll stall inside, but for some reason, the staff didn't remind customers, resulting in a long queue outside but only a few people inside. The buffet dinner was extremely disappointing. The seafood selection was limited and not fresh, and the taste was mediocre. The barbecue and oyster stalls didn't allow people to cut in line, and there were no special arrangements for New Year's Eve. The restaurant really needs improvement."
