Great Accommodation with Amazing Hosts – Baan Sawan on Koh Samui
I spent a few days at Baan Sawan on Koh Samui and can highly recommend it. Although it’s a hotel, it feels more like a private villa – spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean. The infinity pool is definitely a highlight, surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees, offering a relaxing view over the rooftops and nature.
What made the stay truly special was the hospitality of the owners. They were always available, very helpful, and incredibly kind. What really impressed me was how they stepped in when I had a scooter accident – they took me to the hospital free of charge and made sure everything went smoothly. I’m really grateful for that.
The hotel is in a quiet location and offers a lot of privacy, yet beaches, restaurants, and attractions are easy to reach. The air conditioning works perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay, and there is also the option to use a ceiling fan for extra ventilation. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay with wonderful hosts. I would come back anytime!

Great villa, great nice, helpful staff, absolutely everything was great! The hotel has its own delicious restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the green area of the villa and the pool, and there is also a separate bar with its own pool. I really hope to come back here again! Thank you for everything😊

We were only there for one night as the ferry to Koh Phagnan didn't leave until the next day. It is a very idyllic hotel with 16 rooms that has been furnished with great attention to detail. Philippe is the owner and incredibly welcoming. Even though we only stayed one night, he organized the transfer. We think if you want to stay longer you should rent a scooter as the hotel is a bit out of the way but very quiet.
