The Flow Samui Beach Resort
"Charming stylish hotel on the beach. Friendly staff, nice rooms, simple breakfast, good restaurant and bar. Some beach bars within walking distance. Downsides are no gym, uncomfortable beds with cheap linen, service can be slow, nothing much within walking distance so you need a scooter or to use taxis to go anywhere For such an adult feeling hotel we were surprised by how many young families with babies and small children were staying. Made it feel a bit like a kindergarten sometimes."
ibis Samui Bophut
"Pet-friendly facilities. Next to the beach."
J4 Samui Hotel
"The room was good. The only problem was the heater. Otherwise... Overall was good stay."
Lamai Bayview Boutique Resort
"Our sea-view room was just as described, beautiful by the sea. The room itself isn't large, but it's perfectly fine for a few days' stay. We didn't eat here; it's an 8-minute walk, and a 2-minute scooter ride away, you're on the main road with several restaurants and a 7-eleven. Cons: Matress gave me a severe backache No outlets or light switches next to the bed Some towel hooks in the shower were broken. One towel per person Pros: Super friendly staff Scooter 250 bht per day through the hotel Room cleaned daily Bed made Water, coffee, and tea Fridge Kettle Swimming pool with sea view"
Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort
"Amazing service and facilities, great location."
Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort
"The room floor was screeching, the property was not beachfront but advertised as beachfront. It’s a hotel with cheap owners not focused on services rather focused on charging customers for everything they could. The coconut water was also charged during breakfast. The staff on the reception was very unhelpful at night. I would never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel"
The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui
"Had a fantastic family vacation at the Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui. We were very satisfied throughout our stay. The buggy service was super fast and essential for getting around the resort. There were daily morning yoga and stretching activities, and on Saturday nights, they even had a special market restaurant. I highly recommend The View Dining for its amazing scenery."
Pavilion Samui Villas and Resort
"Everything was excellent: the service, the location, the breakfast, and the front desk staff, especially the check-in process. I particularly want to highlight the Guest Relations Manager, Ms. Mew, who made sure to speak to all guests every morning during breakfast to ensure everything was okay. She even went out of her way to help me with something she wasn't obligated to. Always smiling and incredibly kind, as was the rest of the hotel staff who were always ready to assist with any request. I was with my daughter's family, and they share my high regard for this place, even submitting their own separate review. Thank you very much to you and the entire team. We'd love to come back and will gladly recommend it. The price absolutely justifies the experience."
Guan Yu Boutique Hotel
Bhundhari Resort & Villas Samui
"The bungalows are beautiful and the pool is also very nice. But the location is not great. The hotel is situated in front of the road on one side and on the other in front of the beach where there is construction so the sea is very dirty. If you don’t rent a scooter during your stay it’s very difficult to move around."
Matcha Samui Resort
"Because of it‘s central location it‘s easy to get to Restaurants and Central Samui, but it‘s also quite noisy at night because of nearby bars."
White Sand Samui Resort
In this hotel, you can satisfy your appetite for lunch or dinner at the hotel's restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the room service (during limited hours). Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Full breakfasts are available daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am for a fee.
Crystal Lamai Hotel
"The good thing about the hotel is that it is relatively quiet. The pool was nice. The gym was very barebone, however, with almost no equipment inside. It is not located on the beach, you need to walk about 10 minutes, which is not bad. However, there is no place for you to sit on the beach as almost everywhere is occupied by bars or beach front resorts. The main problem I found with the hotel is its surrounding and its location. The hotel is not located at the lively market which is much further away and difficult to access by walking due to heavy traffic (I had to go to the beach every day and walk along the shore). I really struggled to find good food near the hotel and only had an ice cream for lunch. Also the hotel is located quite far from almost all attractions in Lamai aside from the beach, such as Guan-Yu shrine, red temple, Hin Ta Hin Yai, etc., and the taxi is very costly here. Also if you want to go to Chaweng beach it's almost 400 baht by taxi. I would recommend this hotel provided you have your own mode of transportation."
The Briza Beach Resort, Samui
"The hotel was nice, but needs upgrading as the room was partially updated, but they should have done it all, as it looks odd. Identity was not clear as looked old and new as the same time. Hot water was not working for 2 days of the stay. Service was good overall and porters took our bags to room which was great as there were lots of steps and our room was at the end of the complex. The door to room was old and opening the door was an art. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. I think the worst part was we went to the BBQ and fire show on the last night. We thought as we were going on flight to the net island we would be safe at the hotel. I had the seafood BBQ and the food tasted and looked overcooked. I ate some but left quite a bit. In the night is was very ill and in the morning i told the staff as we left. She rang the manager and she said that they could not do anything as nobody else has been ill and reported it. It was 6am as we had an early flight. I have been to many hotels and if this was the case, they would have accepted my word. I was not after the refund of the meal as this would not help my situation. But more the acknowledgement of their failure to provide quality food on the night, especially considering the rating of the hotel. I ended up being ill for another night. I could not eat for another day and i had a trip to Phi Phi island the following day. I was up all night, but with medication i was able to go on the trip. I dont think the hotel realised the impact their poor food had on my experience and holiday. I would say it was very poor service and if nobody else complained, as most people dont, they would not accept responsibility. Also, they put the onus on my to email them to see if anyone else was ill, before they would do anything. That is just terrible customer service. Who ever the manager is need to be retrained and taught about how to treat customers who have had a bad experience."
Lek Nana Pool Villa Bophut
"Excellent hotel, the only minor drawback was the breakfast being a bit meager, but otherwise everything was great."
Samui Bayview Resort & Spa
"Excellent hotel! The staff were pleasant and very helpful! We will definitely be back!"
