An amazing family holiday at Clay Beach Samui We had such an amazing holiday at Clay Beach Samui. From the moment we arrived, everything was just so easy and well organised, and the villa itself is absolutely beautiful. What really surprised us was how much there was to do without even having to leave the villa. We tried quite a few of the in-villa experiences and honestly, everything was done so well. The food, the private dining, the floating breakfast, the cocktails and the spa treatments were all fantastic. The kids also had an amazing time. Having the huge garden, trampoline, badminton and paddleboards right there made such a difference. And being directly on the beach meant they could go from the pool to the beach and back again all day. It was great for us as parents because they were having fun while we could actually relax. One of our favourite things was simply being able to spend the whole day at the villa. We didn’t feel like we had to go out every day to find something to do. We could have breakfast by the pool, swim, go down to the beach, have lunch, relax, enjoy a massage or a cocktail and then have an amazing dinner in the evening. The in-villa experiences are a big part of what makes Clay Beach special. We tried several of them and the quality and attention to detail were genuinely impressive. Everything we booked was organised professionally and delivered exactly as we hoped. We have stayed in a lot of places as a family, but Clay Beach felt different. It wasn’t just a beautiful villa where we stayed—it felt like we had our own private resort for the whole family. There was something for everyone, and we never felt bored for a second. Most importantly, we could actually relax and enjoy being together as a family, which is what a holiday should really be about. Clay beach samui is absolutely the best beachfront luxury villa on samui with private Chef with the best luxury in villa experiences and services that we as a family experience so far. Review: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

My partner and I stayed at Marasca Samui for 11 nights. The hotel is quite new, built around 2024, and it truly feels like a quiet oasis in the bustling heart of Chaweng, right next to the clubs. We absolutely loved the well-maintained green pathway leading to the beach and the cozy lounge area, which was genuinely comfortable for spending time. The food in the lounge area was excellent and varied. The hotel is beachfront, with direct access to the sand, but it's important to be aware of the tides: the beach can noticeably shrink or almost disappear at times. The sea is usually very calm. The rooms are comfortable, with good air conditioning, making for a pleasant sleep; if you go to bed before midnight, earplugs might occasionally come in handy – they are provided in the room. As for improvements, the sun lounger mattresses and towels sometimes had stains, so better cleanliness would be appreciated. Otherwise, our stay was excellent, and we'd gladly return.

This was our second time at Garrya Tongsai Bay, and we truly love it here. The staff throughout the entire hotel provide exceptional service, always warm, genuine, and making you feel valued. We were particularly touched when a server at the restaurant remembered us from last year—it really shows that the hotel has a very comprehensive and thoughtful guest service training system in place. The dining is also fantastic; both the seafood restaurant and the Thai restaurant are delicious. The hotel has its own private beach, and while the sand is a bit coarse, it's incredibly comfortable for relaxing. While the room facilities are a bit dated, the excellent service far outweighs any minor hardware issues, making for an overall superb vacation experience. We've already decided we'll be back again and genuinely recommend this hotel.

Receptionist insisted on taking a photo of my bookings from trip.com from my phone's apps, although she has sighted my bookings from their own system and also photocopy my passport already. This is really first time for me. Very wierd. Can hear planes noise as the airport is nearby. Also sighted 2 big cockcroaches in the room.

I stayed at the Renaissance with my elderly parents. The ambiance is wonderful, almost like being in a rainforest with lush greenery everywhere. Even though the facilities were renovated 10 years ago, they don't feel outdated; instead, they have a charming, vintage vibe. We had a minor issue on our first day, but both the Trip.com customer service and the hotel manager were incredibly cooperative in finding the best solution. I was very satisfied with this, as it felt truly comforting to receive such support in a foreign country – big thumbs up! 👍 Also, the restaurant food is absolutely superb; I highly recommend trying it if you get the chance. 🤗 Many thanks to them for their help, which made our Samui vacation a truly delightful and happy one! 🥳

after having had a disappointing stay in Amari Koh Samui, we were so glad to have moved to hyatt. we stay there for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. from the moment we arrived, the customer service was amazing. The front desk and the concierge were amazing. love the lobby, it's open space overlooking the sea. we arrived early so we had lunch first but they pretty quickly had our room ready and our luggages were already sent to the room even without me telling them. amazing! we upgraded from a partial sea view to a full sea view room and no regrets. my baby loved the room so much, running around and looking at the view. we loved the room instantly, very clean, spacious, and great view. Kids friendly, i love how they have couple of selections for kids menu and not just fried stuffs and pasta. the staffs are all friendly with the kids as well they totally engage with the children. Their kids club is big and they have activities everyday and the whole day. They do have kids pool side as well with slide and a small outdoor play ground area. it has a grassy area where you can play and run around with your kids. the only downside for us, not much options for breakfast and not really a beachfront where you can swim freely nor can you have a long seaside walk. cant build sandcastle as well. my baby loves to play with sand. when you read about hyatt beach being rocky and not sandy white, they do mean there are huge rocks on both sides. see my photo for better understanding. they do have live ban and firework show in the evening at Sesun restaurant. overall it didnt matter to us, we went to relax, stayed in the resort and relaxed and that's what we got and felt relaxed the entire stay. HIGHLY recommend staying here and when we head back down to koh samui we will surely stay in Hyatt again.

What a gorgeous resort. I love my room, the beach, the sea, the food, breakfast & staff were really great. Special mention for Cathy of Reception - wonderful guest service. Also the staff in the restaurant at breakfast - always so warm. No regrets picking this resort in Choengmon albeit being on the pricier side. Many restaurants nearby, just outside the hotel. There's a 7-11 & a pharmacy right infront. I love everything about this resort. I had the best stay ! Made my first solo trip such a memorable one !

Services were excellent with staff always willing to offer help and care about your needs. The pool in the room was absolutely the best that we have ever been to, which was large enough with jacuzzi function so that we could have fun and enjoy it for a long time. However there were quite a lot of ants around the pool and inside the room, but understood it's becos of the environment near the nature. It's too bad the breakfast place was relocated to Hue and the food quality was okay. Overall it's a fantastic experience for us!

One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The service from staff was consistently incredible, and the buffet breakfast was good. Would absolutely return to such a calm and picturesque location. Personal favourite was the but 1 get 1 free happy hour on the beach from 4-6pm every day!
