Amazing
GGuest UserWe spent 8 days in Thailand, with the first 4 days in the bustling city center and the last 3 days at a hotel located away from the hustle and bustle. It was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The hotel is small but beautiful and truly captured my heart. From the flowering trees in the lobby to the lovely throw pillows in the restaurant, and the white walls and green palm trees set against the clear blue sea – everything reflected the unique thoughtfulness of the founders. The lovely lady at the front desk even remembered my child's name and performed a magic trick, offering snacks, which added a delightful little surprise to our trip.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for a week, booking a room on the second floor with a sea view. However, due to the bar's roof, the sea wasn't visible; we had a pool view instead. The hotel itself is small and compact, located not far from the Grandpa and Grandma rocks, with a small street nearby offering souvenirs and cafes. The room wasn't very large, but the shower room with the toilet was spacious. There was a noticeable damp smell, though. Our room was equipped with a bed, air conditioning, a few tables, a chair, a large mirror (a rarity for Thailand!), a lighted cosmetic mirror, a wardrobe, a luggage rack, a fridge, a kettle, a tea set, and sachets of coffee, tea, and sugar. A welcome fruit plate was also provided. Beach towels were available, along with a large rubber beach bag, which was very convenient. Slippers and a full set of toiletries were included: cotton pads, cotton buds, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner. We dried our clothes either on the balcony or in the shower, and everything seemed to dry fine. There's a TV, and we found Russian videos on YouTube, so we weren't bored if we stayed in the room in the evenings. We were quite surprised by the lack of an iron, but it seems that ironing isn't common there, so not all hotels provide them. 7/11 stores are within walking distance, and prices are reasonable, though beer is cheaper by the pack at the Macro hypermarket. We had breakfast included, but didn't go every day. Breakfasts were decent; not super varied, but we never left hungry – everything tasted good. They served a fruit plate, a plate with cheese/butter/ham, and you could order either an omelet or scrambled eggs, with optional bacon and cheese. The coffee from the machine was quite strong, even with milk. There was always a crispy baguette, toast bread with a toaster, and a variety of fruits like rambutan, bananas, passion fruit, and watermelon (which varied daily). Yogurts, muesli, pastries, cookies, cucumbers, tomatoes, and leafy salad were also available. Getting to Lamai night market on foot takes almost an hour, by taxi it's about 200 baht, and walking directly along the beach takes about 25 minutes. There's a small food market towards the Red Temple, which also has live music and a small trampoline for kids. Prices there are dirt cheap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The beach near the hotel has some rocks, but if you walk a bit to the left, there are fewer rocks and lots of fish. Crabs hang out among the rocks in the mornings. The hotel offers free paddleboards (SUPs) – we took them a couple of times – and also masks and snorkels. We only noticed the latter later, so we had already bought our own. There are dogs living at the hotel, but they are absolutely friendly, usually just chilling among the guests, and only bark at fishermen. No need to be afraid! We arrived before check-in time and had to wait a bit, but we were checked in on schedule. Overall, the hotel is quite good, but a bit far from the nightlife. If you're mobile, getting around the island won't be an issue. There were no Russians at first, then a couple and a man arrived. Primarily, Germans stay there. I give the hotel a solid four out of five stars and wish them prosperity! Thanks for the hospitality!

VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted. Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio. Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet. Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

GGuest UserExtremely friendly staff that always went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. We had a very clean and comfortable room and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast dining room was very nice with a good selection of foods to choose from. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when my travels happen to return me to the island of Samui.

GGuest UserBeautiful resort, large room which was clean and had everything we needed. Great pool, however we had to ensure to be there early as people left their towels on the beds early in the morning. Guests also have access to the beachclub which includes free sunbed reservation, however ensure to do this at least one day in advance as it books up quickly. Food at resort and beach club was nice, however on the more expensive side. The resort is a far distance away from anything however they have a shuttle that you can use for free to get to the 7/11 & beach club, they can also take you to other places but we just used grab for this. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserBeautiful resort and excellent price.  Little confusion over spa treatments due to language barrier and to be honest, not the best massage.  I’m Also called reception for around 20 minutes at around 2am with no luck. Had it been an emergency I would have been stuck. Promised 24hr reception presence when we checked in.  Lovely staff and service.

CCheffrankThis is a garden-style hotel with a very clean swimming pool. You can access the beach directly by walking down a few steps. There's a supermarket and restaurants right outside the hotel entrance, which is super convenient. The breakfast was good too, and there were bonfire shows on the beach in the evenings. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

NNatalia FedyukovaThe hotel's strong points are the breakfast and the beach! + The breakfasts are great and varied, with two coffee machines and plenty of different dishes. Vegetarians will always find options and vegetables. + The beach in front of the hotel is now superb. It's cleaned regularly; before, this part of the beach wasn't great, but now it's amazing – turquoise, clear water, and a gentle entry. Keep in mind that the sun on Chaweng Noi sets by 5 PM. + The two dogs on the beach are very kind, affectionate, and cute. I miss them dearly! + The massage on the beach at the hotel is truly excellent, especially with the two older ladies – it's the best. There was no point in going elsewhere to try; the massage here is very good for a great price. + I really liked the parking attendant who helps you get onto the main road; he's very friendly and does a great job. - I didn't like the check-in process. I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM, and they said check-in was from 3 PM (the information at the front desk stated check-in from 2 PM, and the rooms are tiny, so I guess they lack cleaning staff). They offered for me to wait by the pool, which led to a fuss over towels. Then I went back at 4 PM for check-in, and everything was still ambiguous. They first offered a worse room, which I've never experienced before, especially since it was my first time staying there. After I declined, a better one was offered. It all felt rather unwelcoming. - The Wi-Fi throughout the entire property is terrible; you have to chase after it. In other hotels, Wi-Fi works even if you're 50 meters away, not just if you're standing right in front of it on the beach or in the hotel's gym. - The gym is just awful; nothing has been updated since it was built. There's a broken seat on a bench that's just placed on top, dumbbells are in terrible condition, a broken treadmill that wasn't fixed in 7 days (and who knows how long it's been like that), and a smelly air conditioner that's dangerous to breathe. I've never seen anything like it; it directly shows their attitude towards guests, as does the broken shower on the beach, which also wasn't fixed in 7 days. The hotel is decent. For the price it used to be (4-5 thousand), it was excellent, but at twice that price, it definitely doesn't live up to it. The room is small and ordinary, but the size and photos were accurately displayed on the aggregator, so I have no complaints there. Everything is, of course, old and worn, not for the squeamish or those who prefer sparkling clean fixtures. I would visit the hotel again if it were at a lower price. I wish them luck in dealing with all the shortcomings and hope for their continued prosperity!
