Great location and easily walkable to lamai market or to nearby cafes and shops. The live band from lamai market can be heard from the rooms so if you are a light sleeper this may be a problem. The floor manager goes around to check on guests during morning breakfast and we appreciated this gesture. The AC in our room was leaking and she immediately sent someone to check on it. It never got fixed as it kept leaking every night again but it was ok and we werent very bothered by it. The mattresses need a change asap as the depressions were too obvious. I would request also for better lighting or at least the option to brighten the lights should we wish in the room. The hallway resort lights were also too dim making it a little dangerous at night as there were many steep steps and curbs. For the accessibility and staff i would stay here again

An excellent property, staff is very polite and professional
No problems in check in and check out
Room was ok
Could have been better for a price tag
No toothbrush or shaving kit provided
Plunge pool was good but size is very small
Though comfortable for two persons
There are two swimming pools and both are excellent
Breakfast having limited options for vegetarians
Indian stuffed roti was the saviour for my wife😀
One sour point
We stayed in room c111 and i think it requires some maintenance
Three or four places i found termites on the floor
Bed was comfortable and pillows were soft
No complaints other than termites problems
Location is ideal for people who doesn’t want the disturbance at all
Around 12 km from chaweng area where most of the nightlife exists

We upgraded our room to a hydro pool villa and it was fantastic! Made a lot of difference to our experience in Koh Samui. All thanks to Terry, who offered us an irresistible offer for the upgrade. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location in Lamai. The beach is fantastic and the sea, clean and clear. Very gentle waves, which made it great for swimming or just floating on your back.
Terry was exceptional in his attitude and service, checking in on us every day to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. There are 2 things which I believe the hotel can improve on:
1. The hot food selection for the breakfast buffet. The fresh bread and homemade jam, as well as the egg station (the shakshuka is worth waiting for), and the variety of cereal were great, but the cooked food lacked variety and quality. Some Thai dishes didn’t look appetising at all.
2. When we were staying in Chaweng, the hotel staff there would set up the deck chairs at the beach with towels for us, and brought us complimentary glasses of iced water(without us requesting for them). It was a kind gesture very much appreciated, especially in the heat of a sunny day. That is what I call 5-star service- when you can anticipate the needs of your guests. Perhaps Pavilion Samui can learn from that.
Having said that, we will definitely be back in Koh Samui again, and if we choose to stay in Lamai again, Pavilion Samui will still be our 1st choice.

This hotel was amazing, fantastic location on the beach, wonderful staff, and an amazing selection of amenities. After reading previous reviews we booked a room with a small private pool, so delighted that we did! Make sure that you get the best room your budget can afford…the private pool was amazing!

The front desk service wasn’t the best but the service at breakfast area, bar tenders and the valet was great and helpful. The beachfront view was immaculate and would recommend to friends and family
