Hi, I could not able to said all what was I got from here. It's easy to explain for what they have and actually all the facilities are visible from their photos.
Then I would like to suggested this resort to who are looking for what I got from here and the answer is --the peacefully--
Everything about my stay here exceeded my expectations. The impression of the location, the size of the area, the vastness of the resort must be described as grand. Makes feel like I have entered another world surrounded by mountains, large trees, and a beach with a wide ocean view. Big and small islands lined up in front of the rooms viewing. Everything makes you forget the chaos of everyday life. Peace of soul and true sense of nature. This is a place that everyone should come to and leave the chaos for few days.

What did we get upon arrival? An upgrade to a higher category, a welcome plate of fruit, a colorfully decorated room, the launch of a lantern in the evening, and of course, smiles. This is how Sunset Beach greeted us. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the hotel. A luxurious hotel where everything is thought out to the smallest detail. A swimming pool, a spa, a cafe, lush vegetation. Everything is well-groomed and kept in perfect order. The hotel has the best stretch of beach on Taling Ngam, which allows you to swim in the sea even at low tide. And, of course, gorgeous sunsets that will not leave anyone indifferent.
Thanks to Sunset Beach, to all the staff, for a great time.

Small, I would even say, cramped bungalows for two guests. However, everything you need for a short trip to Koh Samui is there - air conditioning, clean linen, a dryer for swimsuits, a small balcony, hot water in the shower (only the pressure was rather weak).
We were here for 3 nights, and that’s enough, but if you’re not going for a week or longer, I’d recommend something more spacious.
The location is excellent for a relaxing romantic getaway. Beautiful beach and sunsets.
It takes 10-15 minutes by bike to get to shops or the night market.

Outstanding
VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted.
Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio.
Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet.
Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.
JJarredCHIt’s a very nice resort little far up in the mountains up a narrow road quite dodgy in the heavy rains we experienced during our stay. The rooms are great I would of liked to see them give us some toothbrushes. The staff are really kind and helpful. Overall pleasant experience . Incredible view from your room.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Garrya Tongsai for 4 nights as part of a relaxation trip. The property is located along a hill with most room balconies facing towards the sea. The property has a good green cover and provides amazing views of the bay. The staff were always smiling and ready to help.
Things that were a bit disappointing for the property.
The private beach is just pebbles and no sand. During our entire stay, we went to the resort beach only on the first day. Rest of the time, we went outside to the nearby Choengmon beach which is nice and quiet with a sandy beach and great to swim. Also, the pools feel a bit dated compared to other resorts.
The rooms were ok but felt slightly small. Not the fanciest but acceptable. Also, the tub is placed on the balcony and fully visible from the pool. Not a big problem, but please keep in mind. We told the staff and after a bit back and forth, they put up a screen to give some privacy.
The breakfast, we felt had limited options and the spread did not change much during our stay. The options, especially the local Thai food was lacking any spice or flavour. Also, the fresh fruit lacked much flavours - maybe due to seasonal variations. However, the staff was very friendly and cared for us well.
Also, one thing to consider - the property is located on a hill and getting around requires buggies which hotel staff are happily able to provide. However, we felt that it prevented us from being too independent. Also, we had rented a car and the parking is a bit far away.
We spent most of the time outside the property as we did not feel that our needs were met by the resort and had to depend On going outside for beach, food etc. Please note that we had already stayed elsewhere for the first half and had hoped for a resort vacation during the final 4 nights which we did not get. A bit disappointed overall.
TTba_worldOverall it feels like a 3 star hotel. Decent breakfast. The restaurant on the beach is very romantic however this requires the staff members to clear up the sunbeds about 4:30pm which is disturbing. Small pool. On the beach however the water is really shallow so you can’t really swim. Mainly polite staff members. There is also a mosquito problem so we were advised not to open the balcony doors so there is no point to have a room with a balcony if you can’t really enjoy it. Great location.
KKawinnathiThis hotel offers an exceptional experience, primarily due to its outstanding service. The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and well-cared for. From the moment of arrival, the professionalism and friendly demeanor of the team set a high standard. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern décor that creates a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The amenities provided are top-notch, ensuring convenience and comfort throughout the stay. Overall, the hotel excels in delivering a memorable and enjoyable experience, with service quality that truly stands out.
MMYimMy boyfriend and I had a great time chilling in our private pool and enjoying room service from the restaurant.
Villa amenities wise - frequent restocking of bottled water, yummy night cookies, and gave us clean towels and stuff daily.
The staff were so friendly and helpful! It was our first time to Samui so we had many questions but they picked up the phone and helped :)
We hired a scooter through the hotel, which was so useful and convenient to us! We didn’t even plan on scooting around but we were thrilled we did it!
Daily breakfast was sufficient - good range of food available and daily chef making different types of eggs for us, the beachfront view was so nice!
GGuest UserIt was supposed to stay 3 days but we loved the hotel and stay for more 6 days. Amazing place, amazing staff and just in the beach. Highly recommended.
SShanreviewAccommodation by the sea, inexpensive, beautiful view, rooms with smart TV Netflix, youtube, very cool air conditioner. The room is very overpriced. But there is no breakfast here. In front of the hotel there is also a bar to sit and chill every day, very convenient.
DDavid CastaNO THANK YOU NO PRIVACY
grims very good hot water good air condition excellent but no privacy curtains rooms two meters across and you do need blinds closed 24 hour.
hotel also sell beach lounges to externals so hard to get one.
privacy curtains are must at this hotel
戴戴The room is very nice. You can see the pool and the sea. The four-drilled hotel in Thailand seems to have a common problem. The above part of the room, such as the table top, the bedside will not be cleaned as long as the air conditioner is empty. Breathing room found a worm two big spiders toilet floor ant hotel is the most terrible is breakfast I have never seen so many flies breakfast from small to large, some of the open-side food at the poolside is not covered with plastic wrap and flies directly You have to keep looking at your own dish, or you have to keep an eye on your own dish. Otherwise, the sliced bread is placed on a shelf against the wall. It is easy to see that the ants are too disgusting to run. There are many flies in the room. The ants are too collapsed. There are only one or two waiters in the room. There is no smile. No smile may be because they are more tired.
