This hotel is so luxurious and spacious and the staff cannot do enough for you. The big clean pool is next to the beach and sun beds in the grass make a perfect combination. Plenty of space to sit and relax. The sports facilities are more than I have ever seen with a wellness retreat here making the most of them all. The spa has a nice indoor pool and I had an excellent massage. The food has plenty of choice and the dining areas are lovely including an Al la carte and a beach bar. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and products replaced and good quality. Hotel rooms are all with balcony and big and no more than 3 stories high. There are pool side rooms and more private ones with private pools. The bars all make good cocktails and all have nice coffee and plenty of staff and never a wait. Staff also remember what you normally order.

We had a lovely time here at this hotel! It was very relaxing being next to the poolside and having a very short walk to the beach. The food was great and offered good selections especially as I am a vegetarian. The staff were really accommodating and welcoming.

Spent a week here with my mum. First time in a 5* and it exceeded all expectations. Hotel is on the beachfront on a very quiet stretch of coast. Big pool, lots of sport activities to participate in daily. Yoga right by the sea. Food was great, staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Eleni!! They were happy to book us taxi’s to different beaches and had the same driver pick us up, which made us feel very safe as women travelling alone. Would suggest renting a car to keep exploring Crete cheaper. Room was cleaned twice a day. Will be coming back!!

Absolutely fantastic resort, excellent food and service. Hotel stuff is very friendly. Perfect for active people due to many sport activities. Rooms are clean with high hygienic standards. Long beach, sea close to the hotel. Highly recommended for wonderful holidays.

If you are after a relaxing chilled week at a fantastic hotel then Cavo Spada is for you. The staff were amazing. The food was lovely and varied (and we only ate in the main restaurant). The bedroom and bathroom were a very good size and were cleaned very well every day. The pool area is nice and there were always plenty of sun beds. The only downside is that there isn’t anywhere to walk out on an evening but we knew this when we booked. A trip into Chania is a must. Very much enjoyed our day there. I’m quite fussy and I am usually disappointed with hotels abroad but Cavo SPADA exceeded my expectations on lots of levels.

We first visited this wonderful hotel in August 2023 with our two children (17 & 22) We have returned this year for a second time (something which we never do) and are here now. I don’t usually write reviews but we as a family felt that this one is absolutely necessary. It’s simple, If you’re considering booking this hotel, do it. Do it right away. I am a very fussy person and am usually, very hard to please. However, I can honestly say, there isn’t anything that I would want to change here. The staff are truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, first and second time, we were greeted with such a friendly, warm welcome. The hotel manager personally came out to help my daughter with her case as soon as he saw us arrive. He and his staff, continuously go above and beyond to make sure our stay is everything we hoped and imagined it would be. I emailed a few months prior to our holiday to request that we have two rooms next to each other to be close to our children and of course, without any hesitation has been fulfilled and we have been allocated the most stunning rooms. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The reception staff are exceptional. Restaurant staff, exceptional. Bar staff, exceptional. Panos the pool barman, actually remembered us from last year which is incredible considering how many guests he sees every season, and was so pleased to see us again. Going on holiday is a very expensive luxury and you want to make sure that you are going to love the place you go to so much, that you want to keep going back year after year, and this is definitely one of those places. We have certainly found everything we would want out of our holiday and I would never hesitate to book this beautiful hotel again and again.

absolutely wonderful friendly staff. even upgraded us to a villa as my son was meeting us there. so wonderful to be able to spend quality time with him. perfect location and right by the sea would definitely recommend to family and friends.
