Close to the national museum, the resort consists of various buildings with restaurant, Jacuzzi, pool and reception can speak English. Staff is so-so from English level. In general rooms are comfy and provide a decent amount of amenities. Reception also helps with tours and offers a "taxi service".

Phenomenal stay at Palau Plantation Resort! This hotel is what I like to call quiet luxury, offering visitors something unique compared to your typical resort. It is so peaceful and beautiful, they have hibiscus flowers everywhere, a nice pool and jacuzzi, plus awesome views of the jungle. Staff here are incredible, so kind and willing to help with everything. They will provide you transportation to and from the airport as well as to places around the city. I felt very at home here and well taken care of, book with Plantation, you won't regret it!

Special palm leaf roof architecture.
Business is slow, so you might be the only guest or one of just a few in the entire hotel.
The room thoughtfully provides electric mosquito repellent, so you won’t be bothered by mosquitoes while sleeping. However, since there are likely not many guests, the housekeeping might have prepared the room well much early, so the bedding had a damp, musty smell.
Breakfast is not included, but you can add it for about US$13. There are many options to choose from, and it's recommended to order the day before so you can eat early and catch your boat trip in the morning.
For dinner, there’s the Jungle Bar restaurant within the premises, but it seems that if there aren’t many guests staying, it might not be open.

Probably the best option for accommodation in Koror. Much more atmospheric than regular city hotels. A separate cozy bungalow surrounded by palm trees and flowers - it's wonderful! Yes, to get to the center you need to walk 10-15 minutes, but it's not a big deal. The only thing is, I would like the pool to be cleaned better. Otherwise, I liked everything very much.

I don't know why the previous guest recommended this place. The facilities here are outdated. Very few guests.

Quietly situated resort overlooking the beautiful greenery of Palau. Delicious breakfast, super friendly and helpful staff. Main street is a fifteen minute walk or take a taxi for a few dollars. Nice rooms with a great bed. Very quiet as there were minimal guests. Lovely pool and jacuzzi.

It's a little far from the airport, and there is no public transportation, so you'll need to take a taxi to get there. It's a themed resort, and the atmosphere inside the hotel is very nice, so you can experience a vacation in a foreign country.
The bar restaurant inside the hotel serves Palauan food, but it's a little pricey. You can walk to the main road in about 20 minutes, so it might be a good idea to eat in that area.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful grounds. Just know it's a 3-star property - and isolated - without a car it's a little tricky to get around. Front desk gave me a list of restaurants that offer free transport else you need to hire a taxi. Nothing nearby, and it's too hot to walk. No restaurant/bar/jacuzzi open onsite during the day, open in the evening only. Rooms honor traditional Palau culture, loved that. Perfect place to stay after liveaboard dive trip while waiting for 3:00am flight. They got me in early (no extra charge). Lots of steps, definitely not an "accessible" property. Peaceful, gorgeous.

Palau Plantation Resort offers an authentic Pacific island experience, eschewing luxury for a genuine connection with nature. Nestled amidst lush vegetation, the resort immerses guests in the raw beauty of Palau's landscape. The accommodations are simple yet comfortable, allowing the surrounding environment to take center stage. Wake to the sounds of tropical birds and fall asleep to the gentle atmosphere of a tropical jungle. A highlight is the Jungle Bar, a rustic gem serving up delectable local fare. Its intriguing interior, adorned with native artifacts and natural materials, perfectly complements the resort's ethos. For travelers seeking an unadulterated taste of Pacific island life, Palau Plantation Resort provides an unforgettable, nature-centric retreat.

I found this place as a hidden gem when I stayed here 12 years back. And it still feels as exotic, romantic, and rustic as it felt back then. On an island more known for waterfront results and luxury digs, this jungle beauty is a refreshing break thanks to it being nestled amidst a grove of Coconut trees and thick jungle-like greenery LOCATION: Close to Palau downtown inside a lush green setting. With easy access to the waterfront from the back of the property DINE + DRINK: The Jungle bar is a super cool place to hang out in the evening and comes with an African jungle lodge bar vibes blended with a funky dive bar. The Restaurant was closed during our stay ROOM: We stayed in Room PAPAYA COTTAGE, so this review is based on that; VIEW: sweet view of the coconut trees and greenery from a romantic balcony attached to the room; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Spacious enough and comes with a nice Bathtub and shower; TOILETRIES: Good quality cosmetics FACILITIES: No gym on site. But there is a sweet swimming pool in the middle of all the greenery! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to LISA who was managing the property for accommodating all our special requests, and LEONARDO who ensured we had a great time at the fabulous Jungle Bar HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Medium-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. No Television in the room, pure jungle chilL!
