Had good quality sleep. Awesome team. The front office manager Mr Sanjai, the banquets manager Harekrishnan are Rockstars, so it the housekeeping manager Mr Singh. Food was awesome in the South Western Coastal Festival (Konkan, Goan, Mangalorean ) on during my stay. Above 5 stars for the spread as it was 'light on my heart' (oil we many like to stay away was less) taste great and spread such you can mix and match (like I had bread with prawn curry and fresh bread roll with beans usli. Chef was Mr Prakash from Cape Comorin Taj Westend Bengaluru. His receipe of Lentil Crumble - Beans Usli) was out of this world. And his connotations for those with a sweet tooth is yummy.

We had a problem with extreme dampness on the floor leading from the inside the door to the room. Complained to the house keeping who provided a long mat/carpet as a temporary solution. The room and bathroom while clean, certainly needs proper renovation. The health faucet is kept in the wrong direction. The bathroom door and walls are a bit shabby looking. Overall we expect a better experience with a Taj property. The staff were however friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel , member of the Taj group. The hotel is a bit older, but in a good shape. Very attentive staff, especially in the restaurant. Clean well equipped rooms, external pool, restaurant with a broad selection of meals. All in all a good place to stay.

The hotel is a great value for the amenities and services provided. The breakfast spread is a great mix of local cuisine and the regular Indian / International fare. The staff is ever so friendly and willing to go out to make your stay pleasant. The room is well appointed but could have included some snacks / cookies to go ***** with tea and coffee selection in the room. The air-conditioning works and beds are firm and assures a good nights sleep. The wooden flooring shows its age. A quick upgrade on this as well as the bathroom wash counter top would have helped this nice Taj property live upto its name. Of course, the service is outstanding and this helps Overall, a satisfying experience. Recommended... 👍

We stayed at the Taj for two nights. We required two rooms and the staff thoughtfully gave us rooms close by. They ensured that the rooms had king sized beds which was a requirement. The property is old, so it's large with a lot of greenery outside and a huge high ceilinged lobby. There is a good swimming pool. The view from the room we got was that of the pool and the surrounding greenery, a rather pleasant prospect. The breakfast buffet while not being exceptional, was decent with a few local items as well on the menu... The restaurant staff were courteous and smiling. Room service is rather slow, so is the old creaky lift which is rather cramped as well. But these are minor problems, the feeling of having stepped back an age makes up for it. The beach is very close by, for those who love the sea. All in all, it was a good stay.

The hotel is good comparing to other hotels in kozhikode Like, 1) Staff behaviour is Terrific. 2)Overall clearness is good. 3)Pool side facilities is also great. but said that few points to be taken care of are:- 1) The lift is old and has carrying capacity issues. 2) The hotel as being branded as 5 star should maintain their internal and external decor such as paint etc. 3) Delay in room services and breakfast should include more non-veg items instead of just one chicken curry and a chicken sandwich.

Hi, actually, we went to morning breakfast in restaurant, but we are not satisfaction because the food was not tasty everything in the buffet counter and we order from live counter Puri that Puri was its completely over fry and they have kept it in Chutney that also not tasty, but we went to in Kozhikode, so many restaurant compare with Taj hotel restaurant. It’s not totally waste only so We are not satisfied and the service. Also, it’s average only.
