Panan Krabi Resort

I recently stayed at what was advertised as a 4-star hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was far from impressive. The lobby area looked pristine, and the hotel certainly took pride in its public spaces, but the room left much to be desired. When we walked in, it was immediately apparent that the room was not cleaned thoroughly. It seemed like they cleaned around the room rather than doing a deep clean. There were dead bugs on the wall, which was pretty off-putting, and the hand-held bidet was in an unacceptable state. It wasn’t cleaned before we arrived, nor was it attended to during our stay. For a hotel that supposedly offers a high standard, these oversights were shocking. Given the hefty price we paid—more than what I’ve spent at 5-star hotels—I expected far better. The room itself was disappointing and clearly not maintained to the standard one would expect from a hotel of this supposed calibre. For the money, this hotel did not deliver the quality it promised. Adding to the disappointment, the breakfast experience was just as underwhelming as the room. The hotel proudly claims that their bakery items are baked in-house, even displaying this in the restaurant—but this couldn’t be further from the truth. There wasn’t a single trace of fresh bakery aroma, and the items served looked and tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket package. The overall breakfast selection was poor, lacking variety and freshness. Despite having paid for it as part of our stay, we ended up choosing not to eat there after the first attempt. The tea was weak and flavorless, and the machine-made hot drinks were almost undrinkable. Adding to the disappointment, the breakfast experience was just as underwhelming as the room. The hotel proudly claims that their bakery items are baked in-house, even displaying this in the restaurant—but this couldn’t be further from the truth. There wasn’t a single trace of fresh bakery aroma, and the items served looked and tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket package. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices, expecting 4-star quality, only to receive service and amenities that wouldn’t pass for a 3-star. This stay was a major letdown from start to finish.

Hotel staff friendly,location is good,walk out 5mins many massage shop, restaurant,walk around 15mins to Aonang beach.

We are really glad our staying in this hotel: friendly and smiling stuff, comfortable rooms, nice restaurants with tasty dishes (Thai pasta and PHO with beef wagyu in our hearts) and delicious breakfasts. Panan have the gorgeous territory with big pool, roof's pool and many activities, also there is the night market near the hotel. We never forget that room's view on the pool, sharp and sea. Stating here for our honeymoon. It’s really suit the honeymoon concept and entertain my request for the honeymoon decoration. After all the breakfast is very good with so many choices of food available. Menu change every 2 days. Service is good and location also near to ao nang beach

So far everything was good, maybe can more better like mosquito repellents in room, support using Apple Pay while spending, I’m facing a payment issue as not acceptable Apple Pay to settle my spending, only support normal credit card

Cuz we checkin late maybe that’s why very unluckily I got the worst room ever. It’s so damp and comes with a musky smell. My worst 2 night stay in Krabi, the floor is wet almost 24h (see picture) and even if I dry my hair the next morning it will feel damp from the moisture in the air. Not sure on the reason for the dampness. But the location and the breakfast is really good. Around 10min walk to the beach, mcd and Watson is just opposite. A lot of nice cafe nearby. Didn’t use the pool but it’s looks nice and big too. Just really disappointed with the room, looking at the rest of the review it’s feels like I’m just really unlucky and gotten the worst room.
