Stayed 3 nights at Dusit. Had a pleasent experience overall. Breakfast selection was decent enough. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff working there were all amazing! Very friendly and helpful.
Hotel amenities were awesome though. Hotel comes with complimentary workout classes and water sports for those interested. The pools were huge with more than enough sunbeds spread throughout the pools and beach. The private beach at the resort is amazing as well. Its never busy and had awesome views of sunsets. But be prepared to walk alot in this resort as it is such a huge compund. You can request a buggy but it may take a while.
Not the most convenient in terms of location but it is to be expected for a private resort. There are decent restaurants nearby if you want other places to eat other than at the resort.
This is the place for anyone looking to relax and zen out. Would choose to stay there again just for the vibes and serenity.

Breakfast- smaller selection than usual five stars but it was high quality.
Activities- so much to do if you’re into fitness! Hyrox, Spartan, HITT, Muay Thai, rock climbing (some have surcharges- need to Check)
Service- I found this lacking in terms of front desk service and phone as everything you are asked to dial 0. Maybe it’s the language barrier.
Ten step onsen- only available 2 timings/day 11am and 5pm so you really have to plan your time around it which was annoying so we did not end up doing
Late check out- not available! Allowed to use facilities, only open shower available and change at the spa.
Beach club- free use of bean bags for hotel guest. But usage of pool is chargeable with minimum spend (depending where you choose to sit it’s a different price) free activities for hotel guest- kayak, paddle board, padel )
Pool- take note pool not allowed for kids below 12. I found the hotel very stingy with towels. Also lack service. Nobody comes to you to offer menu and ask what you’d like, I had to look high and low for attention.
As you walk out from Varana. there are some restaurant options (6-8 restaurants) very affordable.
Overall, we had a good time but lacked the magic somehow.

If you’re in much need of a holiday and don’t wish to worry about organising activities and finding a group of people to travel with, Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort is the perfect place.
There are numerous activities organised by the Resort which one can enjoy solo. I enjoyed Thai boxing and snorkelling for the first time. The meals offered by the resort were simply exquisite. I would describe the breakfast as a utopia…it was incredibly amazing and luxurious.
Those in the activities team took good care of the excursion group, even helped with snorkelling for the first time. Everything felt safe, food was bountiful and I was able to enjoy new experiences… it was simply the perfect stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Nakamanda. The staff were wonderful ~friendly and helpful. Picturesque location with lots of local restaurants nearby and perfect for long beach walks. Amazing tidal variation so every walk was different. Our room was gorgeous, and the swimming pool huge. A little off the beaten track. Plenty of potential tours available to see the sights. Definitely recommended.

We booked Anyavee Krabi Resort last minute and got one of the apartment looking rooms facing the beach and pools. This was by far one of the best places we booked out of 4 other resorts we stayed in Thailand. The beach access is truly a beach access with a section for private boats and a section for swimming. I also like that one of the pools was open late and lit up for anyone that wanted to have a late night swim. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was one of the best we had with one of the best views. Apparently you can rent a private tour to the islands from the beach front which we wish we did since we had already completely the speedboat tour. The customer service at the front was amazing as the manager/owner (not sure), welcomed and thanked us when we arrived and left. The room was super clean and large but the bed in my opinion got a little firm. The washroom was super spacious and had everything you needed. If I can suggest 2 things they need to improve would be the coziness of the bedroom and the hot hair blowing from the AC into the balcony when you sat there. A redirect vent to the outside could fix this. We never sat in the balcony as there was always hot blowing air from the AC. Inspite of these 2 things I would still rate this place 5 stars because of all the other amenities. We wish we had stayed longer but next time we come we would stay at one of the bamboo bungalows facing the beach for sure !

The location was pretty good, if you plan to ride a motorcycle. The beach is about 1km away. In my opinion, items nice than Ao Nang which is always crowded. There is a good restaurant run by an Indian guy, a good massage place and a laundry service place just next to 7/11.
The facilities for kids were pretty good (a swimming pool and a small game room) and the gym was small but nice. However, the room was pretty old, and the first night we got a different one from what we had booked- with very little space. In both rooms we had ants.
The breakfast was ok-ish but most of the stuff available was more dinner like that breakfast.
The staff were pretty ok, but sometimes it was hard to communicate with them in English. Also, I didn’t understand why they had to give you a receipt for just taking pool towels. They did help us contact a motorbike rental shop though- the owner was very nice and helpful.

Spectacular villa and service, kindness for everything.
We were able to leave our suitcases and end the day at the pool, they left us towels and you could take a shower with the included soap.
The only drawback I would have would be the location.
But renting a motorcycle is 10 minutes from Ao Nang beach

Check in & Check out - have to wait for the owner to check in, check out was fast
Staff - smile, but we had to wait for the room to be cleaned under the hot sun for almost an hour
Location - good, beautiful sunset and morning, very quite part of the beach and that’s the thing we need

Room - good view, enough basic facilities
Bathroom - a little bit small, no separation between wet and dry zone

GGuest UserLocation : according to me you can easily reach any place you need such as cafe or 7/11 . I liked this location also coz we were a little isolated and the beach was almost empty . Staff: the staff is super friendly and nice . They will meet you with a glass of cold juice and let you feel home . The rooms are cleaned on time and look super tidy . They will ask if you wanna have scrambled eggs etc.
Design: the hotel and a little garden look super cute . It decorated very well with some particular and beautiful things.
There is a road next to the hotel and a lot of motorbikes and trucks are passing by. But very thoughtful staff provide earplugs. You can use them to sleep well and avoid any problems to rest.

GGuest UserI like it. The room is large, very ergonomic, properly located air conditioning, comfortable bed and pillows. The shower is not separated by a partition, but you can bring rubber flip flops for the room. There is no hairdryer, but you need to carefully read the reviews - I brought it with me, you can ask at the reception. The curtains on the windows and doors, of course, are old and require replacement, but the budget for the stay is small. The hotel was apparently built about 20 years ago, the furniture is old, but good quality and comfortable. Beautiful pool. I didn’t take breakfast - 7/11, fruit stands and street food are located within a 1-minute walk. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The beach, where there is thick shade from the trees in the morning, is a 5-minute walk to the right, towards the Sofitel Hotel. Since there is nothing there, there were about 10 people along the entire beach line. Perfect))

DDANI came back to Samui for Long Island because I stayed for a day and found this place near to our favorite seaside restaurant. Although I only slept in the hotel for one night and immediately set off, I was very impressed and suitable for long-term residence.

Bbai...tThe atmosphere is very good. You can get close to the beach and the sea in a very private way. You can sit and look at the sea view from the front of the room. It's quiet and peaceful, suitable for relaxing. Very relaxing. The rooms are clean, neat, and the staff are good, polite, and lovely. There will definitely be a chance to come back and stay again.🥰

HHectorGarciaVery nice place to stay. We came to rock climbing in Ao Nang and to explore the area. We stayed around 2 weeks. The personal here is friendly and helpful. Rooms are excellent and best for the price. The rooms have also a nice terrace with a nice sunset. This place is out of Ao Nang town, but it is better for us. Here we found everything we needed. The beach is around 800mtrs and it is super nice. There are some supermarkets and restaurants and the hotel can arrange almost any activity, although we weren´t interested in that. We met some French customers here who were also very happy and they spent here more time than us. I totally recommend this place.
