Overall a great affordable option! The location is great, the staff is kind and helpful and everything is nice and clean. The bed could be more comfortable, but a decent option for backpackers.

Clean hotel. I want to express my gratitude to the staff service. I took a Didi, but the drivers didn't drop me to the exact hotel location. During that day, the weather was raining heavily. The staff willingly to pickup me at the wrong location that the driver drop off just now. She came with umbrella to take me to the correct location. Thankyou soo much for your efforts.

Very cozy hostel at a perfect central location in Kunming. The bunks are nice and private, while the living room really makes it feel like your just hanging out and staying over at your friends place! Blankets are thick, free drinking water is provided and the owner is super helpful. She has great tips for delicious food as well! When we were there, we were lucky enough that her little brother was also staying over and he offered to show us around for a full day. My girlfriend and I first booked 2 dorm beds for 2 nights, but ended up staying here for 4 nights because we felt so at home! Thanks to the owner and her brother for making us feel so welcome ^^

Great stay at this hostel! The owners were really kind and helpful! For future travelers : to find the hostel, you need to enter the building and go to the 8th floor, door 801.

We booked this hostel for a short stopover to rest and shower before continuing our journey. The location was good, with about a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station, which made getting there fairly straightforward. The cleanliness was okay for a short stay, but not outstanding. Unfortunately, there was no room for the men in our group to rest, but only the small shared restroom available to all hostel guests. Showering there was a bit inconvenient, as there was no space to change or get ready, and we had to use the reception area for that. I would have liked to have had access to a room for the 3 hours we were there. Another issue was that no towels were provided. Instead, they provided disposable towels, which cost 3 yuan each. In summary, the hostel served its purpose as a short rest stop; the good location and the opportunity to relax were plus points. However, the complications with payment (additional payment), the lack of a room and the lack of towels were negative points that unfortunately had a negative impact on the overall experience.

This Youthhostel has an excellent location in the city center, a friendly price, a good environment, and is very clean. The bedding is very comfortable and private. There are separate curtains, slippers and bedding are sterilized at high temperatures, and there is free drinking water, toothbrushes and paper towels. Great hostel, new clean and great atmosphere. It is a bit difficult to find (there are no signs in English and it is inside a building) and there is only one bathroom in the common area but often occupied.
