"First, I want to give the hotel some feedback, and I'll put it in the review section for others to参考. The hotel is very close to Kunming Station, a 400-meter walk, which is convenient for getting around. However, there's no information about which exit to use. First-time visitors could easily take the wrong exit and end up walking 1.3 kilometers! The hotel should specify that it's a 400-meter walk from the **North Exit** of Kunming Station, and to **avoid the South Exit**! The service is good; they respond to any customer needs. The facilities and cleanliness are excellent, as it's a new hotel, everything is new. In the daytime, after the sun shines in, there's a slight lingering smell of new装修. Breakfast is decent. As for the environment, a common drawback of Holiday Inn Express hotels is that there are many rooms on each floor, and the hallways can be quite winding."

"My experience at Hyatt Regency Kunming this time was absolutely five-star plus! I especially want to thank Bianca. She proactively contacted me even before check-in to confirm my itinerary and needs. She stayed in touch throughout my stay, and no matter what questions I had or what I thought of last minute, her response time was incredibly fast. More importantly, she personally followed up on every single request; it wasn't just a simple "Okay," but she truly made sure everything was handled before feeling at ease. She also proactively arranged the welcome fruit, snacks, and turn-down service beforehand. I barely had to worry about a thing during my entire stay. Nowadays, many hotels have great hardware, but it's rare to find such detailed and warm service. I also really loved the hotel itself. The overall design is very tasteful, and both the public areas and guest rooms are beautiful. I took so many photos this time; every corner was picture-perfect. I've always had high expectations for Hyatt's service standards, but Bianca's performance still exceeded them. I'd even say her service surpassed my expectations for the Hyatt brand itself. She made me realize that what truly makes a hotel memorable for guests isn't just beautiful spaces and excellent facilities, but rather having someone who genuinely cares about your every need. This stay left a very deep impression on me about Hyatt Regency Kunming, and I hope the hotel will recognize Bianca appropriately. Such service is truly rare and is the most important reason why I would choose Hyatt Regency Kunming again."

Our room overlooked a lively square with singing and dancing, but the soundproof windows were excellent. I highly recommend their ginger shampoo, it's fantastic. Breakfast in that European-style setting was truly a delightful experience."

Huge shoutout to staff Yedda, she has been such a great help thus far during our stay, her friendly attitude in helping her customers are admirable. Breakfast was really good and lots of varieties to choose from! Note to take: only 15 mins away from the airport, so it is really good if you are taking a transit flight or early flight because the ahort distance makes waking up less tiresome. However it is slightly further away from town, around 40mins away to the ancient town, but overall still a good central location!"

"Flying to Chiang Mai with a layover in Kunming, I'd give this hotel 99 points out of 100 – I'm just holding back one point so they don't get too proud, haha! There are so many great things about it, and though I forgot to take pictures, I'll share my experience: 1. I had an early flight the next morning, and the shuttle left at 5:30 AM. They gave me a wake-up call at 5 AM. When I didn't answer the landline, they called my cell phone – super responsible! I've stayed at airport hotels in Shenzhen before, and they didn't offer this kind of service. 2. The bed was huge, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. It was a really modern design, with a heated toilet seat and smart controls throughout the room. There were plenty of new charging ports, and the smart features were excellent! Especially the lighting, which had four modes and a gradual dimming feature – very thoughtful! 3. We arrived early, and the hotel let us check in right away, which was fantastic. 4. The hotel lobby is spacious, with lots of complimentary tea, coffee, and sweets – very nice. 5. I found two restaurants nearby: a large Yunnan restaurant and a Xinjiang restaurant where I had some delicious grilled beef skewers – excellent! All in all, it was a wonderful stay!"

"Fantastic overall stay with an ideal location steps from Kunming Cuihu Lake. Lots of dining options nearby, and grabbing taxis to local attractions is effortless. This is a time-honored vintage hotel with older styling, though room amenities work well. The front desk team delivered thoughtful service—they upgraded our room after learning my wife is pregnant, and suggested a unit with a separate walk-in shower to avoid slippery bathtubs. Small flaw: the shower head has excessively high water pressure and is hard to maneuver. Huge appreciation to all attentive front desk staff for their warm assistance, especially 小鹏 丹丹 and 佳佳. Will def consider rebook if I visit Kunming again!"

I was in a hurry checking out and left a small doll in the room, but the front desk messaged me and even helped me mail it back. That was incredibly thoughtful! The location is great too, right in Wanda Plaza. There's a snack street upstairs and downstairs, and a mall just outside. It's really convenient. You can hail a taxi right outside, and it's also very close to the train station."
