Top hotel that really fulfils the 5 stars it carries. Staff very friendly but English proficiency is rather mixed. Super clean and nice new spacious rooms. You can even wash and dry laundry for free on the third floor - they provide detergent, machines and ironing stuff. The location is medium central, to the sights of the city it's quite far (at least 20min DiDi or 50min bus, metro station is 35 mins by foot away). On the other hand, the hotel is right next to the Yunnan Mushrooms Heritage street with dozens of amazing hotpot restaurants. Also there's an old street about 300m away. So there's plenty to do around the hotel, it's just a bit long to get anywhere else.

This hotel is quite good – clean and hygienic, with a smart 'Xiao Du' assistant and even a washing machine. The environment is beautiful and comfortable. Right outside is a night market street, and it's very close to the subway station, making travel convenient. It's definitely worth staying at, and I recommend it to everyone. I'll book here again next time.

The gym isn't just for show either; the equipment is new and comprehensive. You can do cardio and strength training – treadmills, ellipticals, dumbbells, and fixed machines are all well-arranged. Whether you're working on your shoulders, legs, or doing cardio, it's all covered. It's great to maintain your workout routine even when you're on vacation. After a workout, go grab a bowl of rice noodles, and your happiness doubles! Don't miss the night view from the 52nd floor. From sunset to twilight, the rooftop garden feels just like 'City A' from a novel, and the ambiance is absolutely incredible ✨. The rooms are so comfortable, you won't want to leave: The high-floor views are absolutely stunning, perfect for a relaxing time with tea and a book. The bed and sofa feel like they have magnets; you'll find yourself binging shows for half a day. The body lotion has a super luxurious scent, and after applying it, I felt incredibly refined. The breakfast spread is amazing! The balance of meat and vegetables is just right, perfect for fueling up before continuing your city walk. The location is also worry-free; it's about a 10-minute walk from Wujiaba Metro Station, and Cuihu Lake and Nanping Street are not far. Everything for eating, living, and transportation is convenient. It's right in the center of Kunming, like the city's heart, bustling with high-rises and traffic.

This guesthouse, opened last year, is wonderfully clean and tidy, with fresh air and a comfortable environment. The bedding is spotless. It's in a great location with convenient transport links, surrounded by all sorts of delicious food options, including the biggest night market, Shuangqiao Night Market. The owner is lovely and kind, offering warm service and enthusiastically recommending local places to eat and visit. She's incredibly patient in helping guests with any issues. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Traveling back from Lijiang, I chose the Howard Johnson Life Hotel in Kunming, mainly because of its close proximity to Shuangqiao Night Market, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The hotel's overall design is quite stylish. I booked a comfortable king room; it wasn't huge, but it was cozy, clean, and very comfortable to stay in. I especially want to praise the front desk service! We arrived in Kunming on an early morning train around 5 AM, and got to the hotel at 4 PM, which was still before the standard 2 PM check-in time. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful and arranged an early check-in for us right away, even throwing in five complimentary breakfasts. Otherwise, we would have been stuck waiting with all our luggage, which would have been exhausting. This gesture really saved us a lot of trouble and made our experience fantastic. Breakfast was pretty standard for a city hotel – decent quality and taste. My only minor regret is that the afternoon tea selection was a bit limited with not many options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking to visit Shuangqiao Night Market; its location is a huge advantage.

Highly recommended! The hotel is also very close to the train station, making it quick to catch high-speed rail. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient and professional and even gave us a small gift. The lobby bar has a good selection of coffee, and it tastes great. From check-in to breakfast to the care received at check-out, the hotel offered a five-star quality experience. It's definitely worth another visit.

This hotel room was incredibly tiny, barely enough space to turn around. On top of that, the soundproofing was ridiculously bad; I could hear every little noise from outside at night, which severely disrupted my sleep. The worst part was that there was no elevator, and hauling a big suitcase up and down the stairs was absolutely exhausting! Oh my goodness, the experience was just terrible.

I had a wonderful stay at Junze Hotel with my group of four. The room was surprisingly spacious, we had more than enough room to move around comfortably, and there was plenty of furniture to store our belongings and relax. The beds were comfortable, and the layout worked really well for a group. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from plenty of night food stalls and local restaurants perfect for grabbing a late-night bite after a long day of exploring. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the room had everything we needed, including a hairdryer, good air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. But what really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always ready to help with anything we needed.

The hotel is in a nice location, near Kunming train station and not far from the city center. The reception staff were very helpful from the first day to the day I checked out, and explained all the details. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a bidet sprayer. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food choices. The day before check-out, I requested a set breakfast in a box for the following morning, and the staff were very helpful in arranging it. It's also Halal. Even though they didn't speak English They try their best to provide good service.
