Guest UserMy companions and I were all extremely satisfied with this stay. The 'posu bao' (flaky pastry bun) was a particular highlight, everyone raved about it! My colleague kept saying you provide 'angelic service.' I love every staff member here; they are attentive and thoughtful, and you can truly feel the genuine kindness radiating from them. Just now, the cleaning lady passed by and gave me an angelic smile, even though she could have easily ignored me while I was engrossed in my computer.
This 'hidden gem in the city' that you meticulously maintain allowed us to feel incredibly relaxed. Whether it was the private hot spring, the calligraphy practice, or simply reading in the tearoom with the cat while listening to the rain, it all brought immense relaxation to our minds and bodies.
Thank you for taking care of us these past few days. It was a truly wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back!
Service: 100%! Familial service; the staff here truly see every individual guest.

marschenscWe were a group of 15 people, four families with kids, staying together. Overall, it was quite convenient! Besides traffic, it was easy for the children to go out and explore the area, with plenty of places to eat and shop. The facilities, including the bathrooms, were fine, and the bedding was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The only real issue was the slow service; we were told it was fully booked, and we had to wait two hours for our luggage, which definitely needs improvement, though it wasn't a major problem. I also have a suggestion: since they contact guests in advance, and families with children often book multiple rooms, why not assign them to the same floor beforehand? We had to spend over half an hour at check-in discussing this to get rooms on the same floor. How much efficiency was lost? It was frustrating. P.S. I've attached some photos of good food spots nearby.

Tedi WareSome aspects of my stay were excellent but a few things were terrible. I will mention the good things first. The room was large, beautiful and gave a beautiful view of the sunset. The bathroom was superb indeed and the bathroom amenities were superior as was the shower, toilet and everything associated with the bathroom. The problems were as follow: There was no dining facilities in the hotel to eat dinner and I was very hungry after traveling 12 hours by train from Shanghai. I had to walk very far to get to the area that has restaurants and food kiosks. When I returned to the hotel with some food that needed refrigeration, I discovered the refrigerator in my room was not working. I called for service and the worker who came to check said the refrigerator was broken and could not be replaced. this was a big problem since I needed to refrigerate the only food I had purchased. Finally, another staff came to my room and discovered the refrigerator was in fact , not broken. It was not plugged in properly so that problem was finally resolved after a very long time. The worst thing was the bed. It was so hard, it was painful to lay down on it and impossible to sleep on it. I called the desk for help and they told me that they did not have a softer mattress to give me. The mattress was as hard as concrete and I was desperate to sleep. A staff member came up with a suitable solution. She brought several duvets and covered the hard mattress with them--placing them one on top of another until I was finally able to lay down on the bed without experiencing pain. It was very late in the middle of the night before I was finally able to lay down on the bed and go to sleep.
In summary, the room itself was excellent and the bathroom was superior. Unfortunately, the mattress was entirely unacceptable and impossible to sleep upon. It was also very disappointing that the worker did not know how to. get the refrigerator to work properly but his superior knew immediately what the problem was. Much time was wasted until she resolved the problem. The worker should have been more knowledgeable and competent.

dbdccKunming is a very warm city, and our first impression of the Sofitel hotel was just like Kunming itself – warm and restrained, yet with a touch of that sometimes-unfamiliar French aloofness. We really appreciate Mia, who contacted us before our arrival to understand our needs. As a result, the room was perfectly suited, and we had a wonderful experience. The Accor brand truly is special.
We had originally booked with InterContinental, but decided to try Sofitel to experience a different hotel. Upon entering the Sofitel, we immediately noticed the strong French elements, and we're actually quite familiar with the detailed aspects of French style.
Let me share a few memorable moments. At the renowned buffet restaurant, because we arrived early, we were standing and admiring the view outside the window. A female manager named Yang Ting proactively approached us. She introduced us to the history of Kunming, pointed out different buildings visible from the 360-degree observation restaurant, and professionally recommended places for us to visit. Compared to the food itself, Ms. Yang Ting's demeanor left a much stronger impression, making the Sofitel Kunming even more distinctive. It truly mirrors the characteristics of Kunming – warm and welcoming.
Honestly, I've been to countless buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners at hotels of the same caliber. Sofitel's breakfast isn't the absolute best, but the variety is truly comprehensive, very Kunming, very Yunnan, and the view is excellent. Another detail that left a strong impression was on the afternoon of the 11th. When we took our child to the lobby bar on the first floor for a craft activity, a female staff member was incredibly patient and communicative with the children, creating a very warm atmosphere. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name on her nametag.
Overall, the Sofitel hotel left us with a very good impression. However, I would still suggest that while there are many details in French hotels worth learning from, some aspects might benefit from adapting to local customs.

Lijuan ♪(^∇^*) This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

Guest UserThe hotel service was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Both the butler and the front desk staff were warm and professional. The suite has its own private hot spring, which is very clean and offers great privacy, allowing for two soaks. The hotel's shuttle bus can take you to the restaurant, infinity pool, and public hot spring, which is very comfortable in this weather, and the kids loved it. The highest restaurant, Cloud Top, offers à la carte dining; their stir-fried bitter greens with red beans were delicious – I've never had them prepared that way before. The breakfast buffet is also served there, and the service is great. The rice noodles were much better than the takeout we had the day before. In the evening, you can also watch the sunset near the infinity pool. Overall, this place is definitely worth staying at. I originally wanted to extend my stay for another night, but the hotel was fully booked, so I'll have to come back next time~

Guest UserStaying at the Crowne Plaza again for my Gudian vacation, I contacted Clove in advance to arrange my check-in. She helped me sort out everything from room type selection to my specific needs beforehand, making for a smooth and hassle-free check-in upon arrival. The hotel is right next to Happy World, the grounds are elegant, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel service is meticulous and thoughtful; I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout my stay. My return visit was just as comfortable as the last, and I'll definitely be booking with Clove in advance for future trips.

Guest UserIf you're visiting Kunming, this hotel should be your top choice. Every staff member's attitude is simply outstanding – not only are they polite, but they always greet you with a smile. Plus, kids get a little gift every day! 😃
The location is fantastic. Cuihu Park is right outside, and there are many popular attractions nearby. In the evening, you can also explore Kunming Old Street, which is about 800 meters away, and you'll see lots of young people taking photos along the way 📸.
Even though the hotel is a bit older, it doesn't affect its overall cleanliness and hygiene one bit; the cleaning staff does an excellent job. Snacks, fruit, minibar items, and evening desserts are replenished promptly. For breakfast, the Chinese restaurant can be crowded but offers a wide variety, while the Western restaurant is quieter with a great ambiance, though with fewer options.
On the first day of check-in, my child saw other kids with a seagull plushie. They had run out, so we had to choose another souvenir. However, on our last day, my child finally found one – it was the very last one they were planning to sell! Luckily, a lady, who I believe was the manager, decided to give it to us. We're very grateful.
I rarely leave reviews on Ctrip, but I'm taking the time to give this hotel a five-star rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Next time I visit Kunming, I'll definitely stay here again. A big shout-out to every staff member at the hotel!
Regarding restaurants and souvenir shops near the hotel, here are a few to avoid:
(1. Don't go to Cuihu Li Creative Yunnan Cuisine, about 300 meters from the hotel. Their service is terrible. They saw we were tourists and had drinks, then tried to overcharge us. Luckily, I checked the bill. They tried to blame it on a 'system error.' Definitely avoid this place.
2. Don't go to Pan Xiang Ji Flower Cake. There are many other delicious flower cake shops nearby, and this one also has terrible service. They're unhelpful and rude; it's not worth the frustration).

AleixiwoyanghuI extended my stay in this family room today, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The entire room is decorated with warm, natural wood, giving it a simple yet高级 feel. The space is wide open and spacious, with plenty of room for activities, so my family never felt cramped. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows, paired with a curved bay window for viewing, offer a stunning sight of lush green bamboo and banana trees outside. The fresh greenery fills the view, and sunlight gently streams through the sheer curtains, bathing the room in a soft glow. The bedding on the large bed is soft and skin-friendly, and the spacious and comfortable sofa area in the living room is perfect for the whole family to relax and chat. The room is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a quiet and tranquil escape from the outside noise. The layout thoughtfully balances relaxation and recreation, and the details are both comforting and healing. Our whole family felt comfortable and relaxed, making it perfect for a short family getaway. The butler service was also very attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful stay.

Guest UserTo start with: it's been a long time since I've had such a satisfying experience.
**Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied.
**Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees.
**Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip.
**Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again.
**Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service.
**Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers.
**Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.
