"Hotel location is in the centre. There is a bike lane in front of the hotel, just have to be careful when heading to the hotel, reception is on the 2nd floor. We didn't use the metro as we usd Didi/Amap rides which were convenient and affordable. Our double room was smalll but clean and comfortable with towels provided, not the disposal types. Breakfast was great with local varieties. There is a free coffee machine at the reception. This is our first time staying in this hotel chain and will certainly try it again in our future trips to China."

"I got an upgrade to an executive room on the top floor. The room was quite spacious, with a round table and two chairs.
**Cleanliness:** The environment was clean and odorless.
**Environment:** The hotel has a grand exterior and is close to the train station; I walked over in about 15 minutes. The restaurant on the first floor is large and elegant. There's a bar in the lobby offering coffee, cakes, and afternoon tea. The hotel also has a shop.
**Service:** They provided welcome fruits and upgraded my room. I booked a package through Ctrip, which included a coconut chicken hotpot dinner (or I could choose the Jacaranda afternoon tea).
When I checked out, they even gave me a souvenir photo frame, tamarind candy (which was delicious!), and hand warmers – very thoughtful!
Overall, I felt it was great value for money. Highly recommend!"

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to give a hotel a positive review, mainly because Ms. Bianca's service was absolutely amazing! The day before we arrived, she proactively contacted us to ask about our needs. When she learned we were traveling with a baby, and since the hotel couldn't provide a bed rail, she upgraded our room and arranged for two beds to be pushed together. Every evening before we returned to the hotel, there was turn-down service, with water replenished, and the room was cleaned twice a day, so it was always spotless and tidy when we got back – it truly made us feel great! For deliveries and takeout, after contacting the hotel, the concierge would bring them directly to our room; the service was incredibly attentive! They never seemed bothered and always greeted us with a smile. We rented an electric car after landing in Kunming, and there are charging stations in the underground parking at Spring City 66, very close to the hotel!
The freshly baked flower pastries at breakfast were absolutely divine! Better than any I've bought elsewhere!!! The latte art in the coffee was so therapeutic! I travel frequently for business and leisure, and I've stayed in many five-star hotels, but I've only seen latte art at breakfast once before, at a hotel in Singapore! They also had freshly made Eggs Benedict! Our child loved the colorful glutinous rice – the chicken noodle soup was just so-so.
When our child vomited in the middle of the night, we contacted room service, and they changed the sheets and duvet covers very quickly! At 3 AM, we took our child to the nearby Kunming Children's Hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis and put on an IV drip. I contacted Bianca to ask if we could have a late checkout. The front desk had initially said 2 PM, but Bianca, considering our little one hadn't slept all night, proactively offered to extend it to 4 PM! This gave us ample time to rest and pack. Being in a different city with a sick child and experiencing such thoughtful service truly made us feel grateful! We will definitely stay at the Grand Hyatt again next time we're in Kunming! Thanks again to Ms. Bianca! 🌹

LLijuan ♪(^∇^*) This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

The hotel environment is fantastic, with a Southeast Asian decor style. The front desk staff were very responsive to all my requests. They even allowed a late check-out when my plans changed unexpectedly. I'm very grateful and had a very satisfying stay.

The mushroom soup at Cai Feng Lou Chinese Restaurant is incredibly fresh and flavorful. The room's scenic balcony boasts a beautiful view; opening the curtains is like unveiling a traditional Chinese ink painting. Mia thoughtfully arranged welcome fruits and a sweet treat for bedtime. The security guard was very helpful, assisting with luggage throughout, making check-in a breeze and very pleasant.

**Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied.
**Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees.
**Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip.
**Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again.
**Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service.
**Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers.
**Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

Knowing we were traveling with a child and the whole family, she kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged for our family to have adjoining rooms, making our stay incredibly comfortable!
She also meticulously wrote out a super practical, personalized guide to local attractions and dining spots. She even thoughtfully reminded us about the changeable weather, suggesting we bring umbrellas and light jackets, truly thinking of every detail. The room was already prepared and set up before we checked in, making the entire process seamless and worry-free. Her service was gentle, meticulous, professional, and incredibly attentive. She was warm and thorough with everyone, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay, and it truly boosted our travel happiness. I highly recommend her and will definitely look for Clove again for our next stay!

GGuest UserThe moment I stepped into the courtyard at night, I was enchanted by the warm string lights on the trees – it felt like I'd stumbled into a fairy tale in the forest, creating an incredible ambiance. The room was decorated in warm wooden tones, with a super comfy bed and sofa, and the lighting was just right. I felt completely relaxed the moment I walked in.
During the day, I loved curling up in the rattan chair in the courtyard, surrounded by bamboo and sunshine, with a gentle breeze. After a soak in the private hot spring, I just lounged in the room, enjoying the peace and quiet; it was so healing, I didn't want to leave. The butler service was also very thoughtful, with gentle touches in every detail. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

The hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. What truly impressed me was the soundproofing in the rooms; despite being in a bustling area, it was exceptionally quiet. Noise from the hallway and outside traffic was completely blocked out, allowing even light sleepers to rest peacefully, free from any disturbance. The hotel amenities are very thoughtful – there's a spacious and well-organized parking lot with plenty of free spaces, which is incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes, a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, hot entrees, staple foods, noodles, congee, fresh fruits, vegetables, and various beverages, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The guest rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortably decorated. The staff are friendly, polite, and provide attentive and thorough service, making check-in and check-out quick and efficient. Overall, it offers superb value for money. Its excellent soundproofing, high-quality breakfast, and convenient parking perfectly meet all needs, making it a fantastic choice for accommodation. I genuinely recommend it.
