"This City Comfort Inn is relatively new, so the facilities are modern. The sheets and duvet covers feel silky smooth, and the pillows are really comfortable (comparable to Atour hotels). The front desk is on the second floor, and the staff are all very enthusiastic, promptly responding to and resolving guests' reasonable requests. The hotel is located in the city center with plenty of amenities nearby. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit A of Jiao San Qiao subway station, making it very convenient for getting to the high-speed rail station and the airport."

"The moment you step into the hotel lobby, you can feel its luxurious ambiance. The front desk staff, especially one tall, slender young lady, provided exceptional service – clearly very well-trained. She was incredibly helpful with directions and fulfilling requests, leaving a lasting impression. The petite young lady shown in the picture was also very thoughtful! On the day we checked in, which happened to be the Mid-Autumn Festival, we even received complimentary mooncakes, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and smart, and the cleaning staff always greeted us warmly. Honestly, the service from top to bottom is outstanding. The parking lot is also spacious, and the hotel breakfast is extensive. Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit."

GGuest UserHello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends.
P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade since we were traveling with a child. This will definitely be our top choice hotel for future trips to Kunming!

GGuest UserIt was a great stay. The villa's own hot spring was perfect. The pool was large and could be filled with water twice. Birthday decorations were also arranged for the children?
The staff had a sense of service and would actively provide help. The staff of the public hot spring were also very enthusiastic. The hotel's housekeeper responded to every request and even sent bath towels to the designated pool, saving us from soaking for a long time and getting our bathrobes wet. Breakfast was eaten in the Western restaurant by the infinity pool. The scenery was great. The staff would actively ask about our needs and always serve with a smile. Thumbs up.
I deducted a few points for the room design. One of the two bedrooms was relatively small, with a bed of only 1.5 meters, and there was only one bathroom, which was not very convenient. The outdoor space was amazing, with a hot spring pool, swings, pavilions, and grass.
By the way, the buffet at the hot spring center was great. It was only 68, but it was delicious and full of Yunnan flavor. This Kunming person had a great time.

MM452698****Staying at the Mehood Lestie Hotel Kunming Changshui Airport branch was such a pleasant surprise! The 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle was incredibly convenient; I just called after landing and the driver arrived quickly, getting me to the hotel in about ten minutes. The room was clean and spacious, the zero-pressure mattress was super comfortable, and the smart voice control and separate wet and dry bathroom were very practical. The soundproofing was excellent – I couldn't hear any airplane noise at all. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful; they even gave me some snacks when I checked in late at night. For early flights, you can book a shuttle to the airport in advance, which is very handy. The self-service breakfast had a wide variety of options, and they also have a laundry room and a gym. This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's definitely the right choice for a layover or catching a flight!

The breakfast is rich and varied, from traditional Chinese breakfast to exquisite Western pastries, each one is mouth-watering. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is very delicious, which makes people satisfied and happy. The hotel's restaurant environment is elegant, and the waiter's service is also very thoughtful, making the dining process very pleasant.
The location of the hotel is also very advantageous, the transportation is very convenient, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets and attractions around, which is very convenient for shopping and playing.
I am very satisfied with this stay experience. Next time I come to this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended to everyone!

PPangxiaozhuyaojianfeiTo be honest, the hotel's hardware is showing its age. Even the executive rooms don't have smart toilets, and the TV screen had a wavy pattern. However, the high floor offers a great view, soundproofing is good, water pressure is high, the toiletries are Lanvin (a French brand acquired by Fosun), the bath towels and hand towels are soft, and there's a good selection of pillows. Overall, the experience was quite positive. Jessica was always on hand to proactively address any potential operational issues.
I only visited the Executive Lounge in the evening, specifically during the happy hour from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It was quiet, spacious, and had a great view. They offered bottled Carlsberg and Dali beer, white and red wine, coffee, tea bags, Coke, Sprite, soda water, ginger ale, and Perrier. I mainly went for a drink and unexpectedly ran into a foreigner who was on the same flight as me on Friday. Haha, what a coincidence! It was great to have company for drinks, chatting, and complaining.
Also, the young man at the omelet station on Monday morning provided excellent service. He deserves praise for his standard of service, whether it was guiding customers while they waited, providing accurate information, or making the omelet itself.
In short, there are definitely issues – nothing is perfect – so Sofitel Kunming is a good choice. That's why I chose to extend my stay for another night. Cleanliness, quietness, and comfort are what I value most.

InterContinental is a favorite among Yunnan proprietors, and InterContinental and HUALUXE are the twin stars of Kunming. Historically, HUALUXE's Chinese luxury concept hasn't always been smooth-sailing, with only Master Zhang Jinqiu's HUALUXE Xi'an Tanghua and the HUALUXE Kunming designed by WATG standing out. Previously, WATG's most famous work in China was arguably the Ritz-Carlton Sanya.
The HUALUXE Kunming is a quintessential resort hotel. The trees, flowing water, and the Western Hills in the background create a harmonious ecological and cultural experience. This was my 71st stay at an IHG hotel this year, and it was an absolute delight.
Guest Relations Manager Cathy is the most professional and enthusiastic manager I've encountered all year. She meticulously arranged everything I could think of, and even things I hadn't – from room upgrades to Chinese restaurant reservations and details for the hotel's hot springs. Everything was simply perfect.
I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserA very warm treasure hotel. Our family received souvenirs and welcome tea as soon as we arrived at the hotel, which was very ceremonial. Because there were not many tourists, the hotel seemed particularly secluded. Whether it was the private soup in the courtyard or the Pu'er tea, they were all of very high quality. The children enjoyed feeding the seagulls every day. The food was a little simple during the Spring Festival. A male waiter in the restaurant (forgot his name) was very enthusiastic. The green vegetables were all from the hotel's own vegetable garden, which was very natural. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Yangzonghai Shijiazui Park, and the scenery is invincible. In short, I was very satisfied. Thanks to the housekeeper for his meticulous service. Five-star praise. Recommended to travelers who like to relax and get close to nature.
