Guest UserMy companions and I were all extremely satisfied with this stay. The 'posu bao' (flaky pastry bun) was a particular highlight, everyone raved about it! My colleague kept saying you provide 'angelic service.' I love every staff member here; they are attentive and thoughtful, and you can truly feel the genuine kindness radiating from them. Just now, the cleaning lady passed by and gave me an angelic smile, even though she could have easily ignored me while I was engrossed in my computer.
This 'hidden gem in the city' that you meticulously maintain allowed us to feel incredibly relaxed. Whether it was the private hot spring, the calligraphy practice, or simply reading in the tearoom with the cat while listening to the rain, it all brought immense relaxation to our minds and bodies.
Thank you for taking care of us these past few days. It was a truly wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back!
Service: 100%! Familial service; the staff here truly see every individual guest.

Guest UserOur child wears orthokeratology lenses morning and night, so we need a clean surface to lay them out on. The hotel room was spacious and bright, and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed for three days and two nights, and the biggest highlight of the hotel was its staff. They were exceptionally professional, attentive, responsible, and quick to respond to guests. Over our two-night stay, we could feel that the service went beyond mere standardization; it truly showed kindness and warmth in the details, which left a lasting impression! Such a team of employees is a huge asset to the hotel. As for dining, the 'Die Zhuo' restaurant and breakfast are highly recommended, though the Chinese restaurant still has room for improvement. We look forward to visiting again.

Tedi WareSome aspects of my stay were excellent but a few things were terrible. I will mention the good things first. The room was large, beautiful and gave a beautiful view of the sunset. The bathroom was superb indeed and the bathroom amenities were superior as was the shower, toilet and everything associated with the bathroom. The problems were as follow: There was no dining facilities in the hotel to eat dinner and I was very hungry after traveling 12 hours by train from Shanghai. I had to walk very far to get to the area that has restaurants and food kiosks. When I returned to the hotel with some food that needed refrigeration, I discovered the refrigerator in my room was not working. I called for service and the worker who came to check said the refrigerator was broken and could not be replaced. this was a big problem since I needed to refrigerate the only food I had purchased. Finally, another staff came to my room and discovered the refrigerator was in fact , not broken. It was not plugged in properly so that problem was finally resolved after a very long time. The worst thing was the bed. It was so hard, it was painful to lay down on it and impossible to sleep on it. I called the desk for help and they told me that they did not have a softer mattress to give me. The mattress was as hard as concrete and I was desperate to sleep. A staff member came up with a suitable solution. She brought several duvets and covered the hard mattress with them--placing them one on top of another until I was finally able to lay down on the bed without experiencing pain. It was very late in the middle of the night before I was finally able to lay down on the bed and go to sleep.
In summary, the room itself was excellent and the bathroom was superior. Unfortunately, the mattress was entirely unacceptable and impossible to sleep upon. It was also very disappointing that the worker did not know how to. get the refrigerator to work properly but his superior knew immediately what the problem was. Much time was wasted until she resolved the problem. The worker should have been more knowledgeable and competent.

Guest UserOur family trip to Sofitel Kunming exceeded expectations. A big thank you to Mia for her attentive service throughout our stay. She was patient and kind in her communication, and immediately helped resolve any issues we had, which made us feel very at ease. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's central location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to all the attractions, saving us a lot of travel time. The overall ambiance is elegant, and the service team is professional and polite, catering to the diverse needs of our family. It was a relaxing escape from our travel fatigue and a truly satisfying stay. I highly recommend it to families traveling together.

Lijuan ♪(^∇^*) This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

Guest UserI stayed for three nights, and overall, my experience was very satisfying. This hotel left the deepest impression on me during my trip to Yunnan. The private courtyard and hot spring gave it a real resort feel, and the quiet environment was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast quality was excellent; in addition to the usual offerings, there were freshly cooked items like pan-fried steak and fresh shrimp, which I looked forward to every morning.
The service was an even bigger bonus. Our butler drove us to the mountaintop restaurant for breakfast, and any requests we had during our stay were promptly met. The whole process felt very comfortable—not overly intrusive, but help was always available immediately when needed. When we checked out, they even thoughtfully gave us some tea as a souvenir, which was a lovely touch.
If you're looking for a hotel genuinely suited for a vacation and unwinding, I think it's definitely worth experiencing. I'll certainly come back if I have the chance.

Choosing the Green Lake Hotel had a sentimental aspect for me. In my youth, I used to visit Yunnan every year, spending a day or two in Kunming each time. And every time I was in Kunming, I'd go to Green Lake, where I'd see the magnificent and bustling Green Lake Hotel. But due to various circumstances, I never got to stay there. Now, with more time on my hands, I finally managed to check it off my list. Although the Green Lake Hotel has aged, just like me, its essence remains, and it didn't disappoint. The location, right in the prime spot of Green Lake, goes without saying. The room, though small, was quite comfortable, and the breakfast met five-star hotel standards. The service, in particular, stood out. Li Ying (senior), Xiao Xi, and Xiao Xiao at the front desk patiently helped us adjust our room, always attentive and friendly. Upon check-out, Mr. Zhang Can and a lady escorted us to our car and even gave us a souvenir. Overall, the experience was great. To use a popular phrase these days, 'even an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari'.

Guest UserI booked this hotel because of its proximity to the amusement park, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel's garden environment is lovely, and the facilities are well-equipped, giving you a truly relaxing vacation vibe as you stroll around. The room facilities are all great, the bedding is comfortable, and the staff are always smiling and provide excellent service. A special shout-out to our butler, Clove, who responded promptly to our requests and helped us order food to our room every day – truly like a personal butler! We had a wonderful stay.

It's rare to find a hotel that truly feels like a home away from home, but Bolian Hot Spring Resort certainly does!
First, let's talk about the service. We stayed during the off-season, so there weren't many staff around, but you could still feel the warmth and professionalism from everyone, from our butler Dashi to the restaurant, hot springs, and front desk staff. The front desk staff even multi-tasked, making us tea and driving us to our room. Their professional training was evident throughout our stay.
Even though the hotel has been open for twenty years, it doesn't feel old or dated at all. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, and the hot springs are fantastic. The courtyard in our room was breathtakingly beautiful.
To our pleasant surprise, the restaurant's food was delicious, with excellent Yunnan cuisine.
We will definitely be back again.
The hotel also provided complimentary executive car airport transfers and vouchers that could be used for dining or spa services at the hotel, which was a very nice touch.
