"The hotel environment is great, as expected from a Meihao Lizhi chain. I've stayed at their hotels in other cities before and had a good experience. When I saw they had a branch near Kunming airport, I booked it. It was quite late when we landed, but I was still able to arrange airport pickup with the hotel. The pickup was very fast, we were picked up in about 10 minutes, and the drive back to the hotel also only took about 10 minutes. Even though it's an airport hotel, the room wasn't noisy at all; with the windows closed, you could barely hear anything, though maybe we're just not very sensitive. Upon arrival, the front desk noticed we had two children and even upgraded us from a regular suite to a deluxe suite. Since there was nothing to eat late at night, the front desk also kindly gave us a complimentary snack bag for the kids, which was very thoughtful. We re-booked for our return trip home on the very day we checked in; we'll definitely stay here again."

"This City Comfort Inn is relatively new, so the facilities are modern. The sheets and duvet covers feel silky smooth, and the pillows are really comfortable (comparable to Atour hotels). The front desk is on the second floor, and the staff are all very enthusiastic, promptly responding to and resolving guests' reasonable requests. The hotel is located in the city center with plenty of amenities nearby. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit A of Jiao San Qiao subway station, making it very convenient for getting to the high-speed rail station and the airport."

"The room was great, actually brighter and more spacious than it looked in the photos. The bathroom sink area being separated by its own door was a nice touch!
The overall service was very good and attentive. The location is super close to Kunming Station, about a 10-minute walk after getting off the train.
If I had to pick one downside, it would be that the Chinese name is quite hard to remember, haha."

1. Room upgrade: This bonus was a pleasant surprise.
2. Check-out time was also very accommodating.
3. Being in the heart of Kunming, I could feel history and modernity flowing through the Grand Hyatt hotel.
4. My child saw a design painting and said, 'This is the Yuanyang Rice Terraces version of 'A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains' (a famous Chinese painting).'
5. The hotel breakfast is a perfect blend of international and local flavors.

The breakfast is fantastic, especially if you go early in the morning when the food is freshly prepared. However, later in the day, the selection may not be as fresh.
While the staff does not speak English, navigating your stay is still manageable with some basic Chinese and the help of Google Translate—just as it is in many parts of China.
I highly recommend booking a room with a spa on the balcony. These rooms are located on the second floor, offering greater privacy and more outdoor space. The spa feature itself can be a bit tricky to use—you need to ensure the water level is just right, as too much or too little will prevent it from working properly.
Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the staff is accommodating and responsive to any requests. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent amenities, this is a great choice.

GGuest UserWanted a special place for some relaxing time together. Do not want to try the usual hotel in the city. After going through the photos, decided to give it a try. And voila….. absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel. The service provided was top notch, the staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Housekeeping staff always clean up the villa to a level which I had no way to complain. Always willing to go the extra miles in providing personal services to the guests. The Villa I booked had a private hot spring and a huge garden which had the best view in my opinion. Every evening, we are able to watch the sunset in our private garden. It was really out of this world, couples must definitely try it. Everyday the hotel will provide a fruit basket and top up the bar counter with drinks and snacks at no costs. The ever-friendly staff (Miss Lee) even told me to let her know if there are any fruits I would like, she would arrange to fill it up in the fruit basket. She even check with me a few times if there are anything she could do to improve the stay with the hotel. Kudos to the management team for instilling this high service standard. Miss Lee even contacted me after I check out to ask for my feedback. Keep up the wonderful work. I will definitely be back. For this trip is filled with so much wonderful memories. Thanks to the team.

11390658****This room was exactly my type! I specifically chose to spend my last day here to relax. The open-air bath, with a milk and rose petal soak, just washed all my fatigue away! The whole guesthouse's design has a very Japanese feel, making me feel like I was actually in Japan. The breakfast was also incredibly rich and detailed, served individually, and entirely made with Yunnan specialty dishes! The butler was also very attentive and thoughtfully brought us things, making us feel very comfortable and secure during our stay. I would definitely want to stay at a guesthouse like this for three or four days next time! It's conveniently located within the World Expo Garden, but due to time constraints, I couldn't stay longer. I will absolutely come back next time!

The breakfast is rich and varied, from traditional Chinese breakfast to exquisite Western pastries, each one is mouth-watering. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is very delicious, which makes people satisfied and happy. The hotel's restaurant environment is elegant, and the waiter's service is also very thoughtful, making the dining process very pleasant.
The location of the hotel is also very advantageous, the transportation is very convenient, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets and attractions around, which is very convenient for shopping and playing.
I am very satisfied with this stay experience. Next time I come to this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended to everyone!

Soft, comfortable bedding ensures a restful night’s sleep, while all necessary facilities are available. Everyday essentials are fully stocked, making the stay both comfortable and secure. The breakfast quality is equally impressive, with a wide variety of options making it difficult to choose just one—hot dishes, snacks, porridge, and fruits are all available, featuring fresh ingredients and delightful flavors. What’s more noteworthy is the room’s exceptional accessibility and seamless travel experience, as well as its significant cost-effectiveness. 1110118****The room itself was old and mediocre. The TV's color was so faded it was unwatchable – like something out of the 90s.
The service staff (restaurant, housekeeping) were generally older, and they were very un proactive about replacing and replenishing amenities. It felt more like a three-star hotel's performance.
The front desk staff's professionalism was decent overall, and the luggage service was基本active and attentive.
For dining, the breakfast was quite ordinary, comparable to what you'd find in a domestic budget hotel.
The public hot spring facilities were generally acceptable. Since it was included in the room rate, and they only opened a few of the pools, like 2 or 3 out of 8, it felt a bit like a rip-off. This really doesn't align with what you'd expect from a brand under a 5-star hotel group.

AAliya0302It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

GGuest UserA very warm treasure hotel. Our family received souvenirs and welcome tea as soon as we arrived at the hotel, which was very ceremonial. Because there were not many tourists, the hotel seemed particularly secluded. Whether it was the private soup in the courtyard or the Pu'er tea, they were all of very high quality. The children enjoyed feeding the seagulls every day. The food was a little simple during the Spring Festival. A male waiter in the restaurant (forgot his name) was very enthusiastic. The green vegetables were all from the hotel's own vegetable garden, which was very natural. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Yangzonghai Shijiazui Park, and the scenery is invincible. In short, I was very satisfied. Thanks to the housekeeper for his meticulous service. Five-star praise. Recommended to travelers who like to relax and get close to nature.

GGuest UserI came to Yunnan for a trip. I read the reviews online and thought it was good. Their parking lot is a big plus. When traveling by car, I worry about parking. The girls at the front desk were very enthusiastic and patiently introduced the hotel facilities. There is also a self-service beverage machine, which is good. You can buy it downstairs. It's a good experience. All aspects are pretty good.
