I particularly recommend their family rooms, which are spacious, bright, and well-laid out with comfortable bedding and comprehensive amenities. They are more than adequate for families or groups traveling together. Considering the affordable price, the value for money is outstanding compared to other hotels in the same category.
The rooms are clean, tidy, and boast excellent ventilation and natural light. The overall environment is quiet and peaceful, ensuring a restful stay. GGuest UserThis hotel is located right in the city center, with a lively pedestrian street and plenty of great food options downstairs. The halal beef pancakes right outside are delicious and always have a long queue! If you turn right out of the hotel and pass Nanning Street, you'll reach Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which boasts numerous restaurants. The Wuyi Road metro station is also right next to it. You can easily walk to Cuihu Park and several other pedestrian streets from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like Er'si and rice noodles.
The hotel maintains the high standards of Sheraton (Marriott), and the room facilities are excellent. The lovely front desk staff even upgraded my room and gave me a fruit platter. My room on the 28th floor offered expansive city views. For transportation to Kunming Station, if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend a taxi as there might not be a direct metro line due to the complex underground structure of the old city. One suggestion I have is to place ashtrays (or poles) outside the entrance. This would prevent guests who step out to smoke from a non-smoking hotel from littering cigarette butts.

The 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle is super convenient and stress-free, taking only 10 minutes, and the driver was punctual and attentive. The rooms are clean with no strange odors, and the soundproofing is excellent. With smart room controls and zero-pressure mattresses, I slept soundly without being disturbed by airplane noise. Breakfast includes Yunnan rice noodles, fresh and abundant. The value for money is exceptional. This is definitely the top choice for layovers or early morning flights!

Whether asking about local attractions or making requests for the room, they responded patiently and thoroughly, making you feel warm and professional from the moment you stepped into the lobby. The hotel's greatest geographical advantage is its proximity to MixC Shopping Mall and Donghua Farmers Market, just a short walk away, where you can experience the vibrant local life in the mornings or evenings. The guest rooms are designed to be simple and bright, with excellent natural light, soft and comfortable bedding, and a spotless bathroom. The hotel is very close to both the train station and the airport, significantly enhancing the convenience of traveling in Kunming. Breakfast is one of the hotel's highlights; the buffet spread is rich, offering authentic Kunming specialties like copper pot potato stewed rice and milk wine, as well as Western classics. The cream puffs are made with animal cream, and the ingredients are fresh and diverse, not pre-made. It's enough to give you a full burst of energy to start a new day of exploration.

**Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied.
**Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees.
**Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip.
**Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again.
**Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service.
**Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers.
**Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.

WWELLCzThis is a well-established five-star hotel in the area, once famous as Kunming's tallest building. During my holiday travels, I passed through Kunming and was deciding between a hotel in a scenic area and the Grand Park Hotel. Considering the potential noise in the scenic area, I chose the latter, and I'm so glad I made that smart decision.
The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. We had a lot of luggage, and we were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a corner suite, which completely alleviated our concerns about space.
Both the public areas and the rooms are decorated in a simple yet elegant and stylish manner. The materials used are solid, and the maintenance is impeccable, so it doesn't feel old at all. It truly lives up to its five-star rating.
The room offered expansive views, excellent soundproofing, and was spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable and soft against the skin, and the hot water supply was quick and abundant. Coming back after a day of sightseeing and enjoying a relaxing bath in the tub was just perfect.
The location is right next to a subway station, with a direct one-stop ride to the high-speed rail. To the north, it's just one transfer to the Wuyi Road scenic area and commercial district, and to the east, one transfer to the airport. Taxis are also very convenient.
The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. My trip was rushed this time, so I didn't have a chance to experience the pool or other amenities. If I get the opportunity to visit Kunming again, I will definitely choose Grand Park Hotel!

The whole stay was so great, the brft was superb with many choices to choose from.
The location was also easily accessible via the L3 Tuodong Stn which is just ard the corner of the hotel.
Everything is so great about this hotel and we were upgraded too!!!

The room is spacious, perfect for families, very clean, and the service is attentive. The breakfast offers a good variety, and both the elderly and children loved it. GIN was very thoughtful and professional, and the room arrangement was very satisfactory.
