Kunming Hotels with Gym

I've stayed in many hotels, and this one truly stands out for its genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff provided excellent service, whether it was early morning or late at night. The facilities are also great: spacious rooms, a huge TV, a double vanity, and good privacy and noise control in the bathroom area. Breakfast was plentiful, the complimentary drinking water was of high quality, and they even gave guests a small gift upon departure. The location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Kunming Station. Absolutely fantastic 👍

I brought my son to Kunming and we felt very comfortable and secure at this hotel. The room was bright and clean, the large bed was cozy, and the bathroom had a sleek design (I particularly loved the frosted glass door in the picture). Welcome drinks and a tea set were all provided, making it tempting to just stay in. The hotel even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. It's perfect for both business and leisure; I'll definitely choose this place again next time~

I booked this hotel specifically for an early morning flight. Its location right next to Kunming Changshui Airport made getting around incredibly easy. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, and the driver was punctual, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage and finding a taxi. The room was meticulously clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep even for a short stay. Knowing I wouldn't have time for a sit-down breakfast before my early flight, the hotel thoughtfully provided a packed breakfast with bread and milk, allowing me to refuel on the go. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, and the value for money is excellent. It's a fantastic choice for an overnight layover. I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I have an early flight from Kunming.

Some aspects of my stay were excellent but a few things were terrible.  I will mention the good things first.  The room was large, beautiful and gave a beautiful view of the sunset.  The bathroom was superb indeed and the bathroom amenities were superior as was the shower, toilet and everything associated with the bathroom.   The problems were as follow:  There was no dining facilities in the hotel  to eat dinner and I was very hungry after traveling 12 hours by train from Shanghai.  I had to walk very far to get to the area that has restaurants  and  food kiosks.  When I returned to the hotel with some food that needed refrigeration, I discovered the refrigerator  in my room was not working.  I called for service and the worker who came to check said  the refrigerator was broken and could not be replaced.  this was a big problem since I needed to refrigerate the only food I had purchased.  Finally, another staff came to my room and discovered the refrigerator was in fact , not broken.  It was not plugged in properly so that problem was finally resolved after a very long time.  The worst thing  was the bed.  It was so hard, it was painful to lay down on it and impossible to sleep on it.  I called the desk for help and they told me that they did not have a softer mattress to give me.  The mattress was as hard as concrete and I was desperate to sleep.  A staff member came up with a suitable solution.  She brought several duvets and covered the hard mattress with them--placing them one on top of another until I was finally able to lay down on the bed without experiencing pain.  It was very late in the middle of the night before I was finally able to lay down on the bed and go to sleep.   In summary, the room itself was excellent and the bathroom was superior.  Unfortunately, the mattress was entirely unacceptable and impossible to sleep upon.  It was also very disappointing that the worker did not know how to. get the refrigerator to work properly but his superior knew immediately what the problem was.  Much time was wasted until she resolved the problem.  The worker should have been more knowledgeable  and competent. 

The location is incredibly convenient! It's just a 20-minute drive to the airport, and you can walk to MixC Shopping Mall and Donghua Farmers Market. Getting to Old Street takes only about 10 minutes by taxi, making it super easy to get around and explore. The room was spotless, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The soundproofing was much better than I expected. The staff were all so friendly and polite, always quick to help with any issues. The breakfast spread was also excellent, and the rice noodles were delicious. My stay was absolutely perfect!

Our first stop on our Yunnan trip was Kunming, and we chose a five-star hotel near the city center. Upon arrival, we were greeted by staff who guided us in, and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even thoughtfully prepared toiletries specifically for our child, which was a very nice touch. The hotel itself is grand and impressive, and the breakfast buffet was even more so, with staff on hand to recommend dishes – truly delicious! What really surprised us was the gym; it's fully equipped, comparable to a dedicated fitness center, and they even provide towels. Working out there felt amazing afterwards! This level of facilities is something homestays just can't compete with... (The only minor downside was the slow internet speed, both Wi-Fi and 5G).

## Facilities: Although the interior facilities are a bit dated, they come with up-to-date features like electric curtain openers. ## Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and pool staff) were all very enthusiastic and responsible, offering me a lot of help. However, some corners and edges could use improvement, such as the large water stains on the balcony. ## Environment: The environment is quiet. While the location isn't exceptionally unique, it's convenient for getting to the train station and Dianchi Lake, and it's very peaceful for sleeping at night. ## Service: All the staff were very hardworking and enthusiastic. Thank you for all the help during my stay. We had two children, and they even gave them a hot spring ticket and a souvenir. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a family trip to Kunming.

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

To start with: it's been a long time since I've had such a satisfying experience. **Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied. **Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees. **Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip. **Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again. **Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service. **Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers. **Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.

The in-room amenities are smart and having direct drinking water is very convenient. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. They even prepared a surprise birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch! The location is great, with a Hang Lung Plaza nearby and direct subway access right outside the door. The front desk staff, Isabel, Andy, and Lynn, were all very warm, attentive, and dedicated.
