Kunming Hotels with Gym

I had a very comfortable stay this time! The location is super convenient, just a ten-minute walk to Kunming Station, and it's easy to catch a taxi to the airport. The room was spotless and very well soundproofed, so it was quiet at night. The breakfast had a great selection, including rice noodles, shaomai, bread, and hot stir-fried dishes, all of which tasted good. The staff were very attentive and always greeted guests with a smile, looking energetic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

Hotel Paperman was absolutely perfect in every detail! It's the kind of place where you just need to bring your clothes and you're all set. 🏨 The toiletries were high-quality, and they even provided facial cleansing towels, mouthwash, bath bags, and bath salts for the tub. There wasn't a single item in the room that required extra payment. The service was absolutely fantastic! I was very happy with the room – a high bed with soft pillows, a Marshall speaker, and the view from the 31st floor was stunning. You get to admire the city up close and the beautiful Dianchi Lake in the distance. [Wow] The butler service was incredibly, incredibly amazing! They helped with transfers and luggage, provided clear directions, and responded quickly. The entire hotel environment and room design were completely to my aesthetic taste, I loved it! They even sent a beautiful welcome flower basket. This trip was a bit rushed, and I didn't get to fully enjoy the hotel. Next time, I definitely need to stay for a few more days. I must support this place!!!

Five stars to the DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport! From the lobby environment and room cleanliness to the breakfast and airport shuttle service, everything met a high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend Cai Cai. I was quite tired upon arrival, but Cai Cai was incredibly patient, efficiently handled my check-in, thoroughly explained all hotel services, and even offered thoughtful advice regarding my flight schedule. Any questions I had were answered promptly and properly, truly demonstrating exceptional service. The hotel maintains excellent quality control, and with such outstanding staff service, it has become my go-to choice for layovers in Kunming. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Changshui Airport.

This newly opened downtown hotel, built in 2025, is a gem! It's just a 3-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, Shuncheng, and Jinma Biji Archway. Plus, there are tons of amazing food options nearby, making it the perfect base for any food-loving adventurer. The entire room features smart controls, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. While the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, the Laifen is still excellent. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar is entirely free. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, and the views from our 28th-floor room, overlooking the city lights at night, were stunning. The 24-hour gym is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever I wanted – a truly thoughtful amenity. Many star-rated hotels are still stuck with traditional satellite TV, so it was a delight to find that this one offers screen mirroring that works seamlessly. The smart entertainment system is a standout feature, and I give it a big thumbs up! (*≧∪≦)👍🏻 Now, let's talk about breakfast: The selection of Chinese and Western dishes is extensive, including many authentic Yunnan specialties. The rare pea flour, kumiss, five-color glutinous rice, and flower cakes were all outstanding and delicious. My only regret is not getting to try the Eggs Benedict – a slight disappointment. The restaurant service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, proactively guiding us to our table. They even offered coffee to go, cleared plates promptly, and provided warm and thorough service throughout. This truly enhanced my experience. Justin Liu deserves a special mention for his proactive enthusiasm and prompt responses. Five stars!

I booked this hotel specifically for an early morning flight. Its location right next to Kunming Changshui Airport made getting around incredibly easy. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, and the driver was punctual, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage and finding a taxi. The room was meticulously clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep even for a short stay. Knowing I wouldn't have time for a sit-down breakfast before my early flight, the hotel thoughtfully provided a packed breakfast with bread and milk, allowing me to refuel on the go. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, and the value for money is excellent. It's a fantastic choice for an overnight layover. I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I have an early flight from Kunming.

Had a fantastic stay! We arrived early, and Rachel from the front desk saw that there were already clean rooms available and helped us check in right away. The room was very spacious, with new facilities and excellent soundproofing. The cleanliness and overall environment were also great, especially the bathroom, which was incredibly roomy. It was so refreshing to take a shower there after walking over 17,000 steps. The hotel's laundry room was also very convenient; my pants got wet in the rain yesterday in Kunming, so I washed and dried them there overnight and was able to wear them again today. The breakfast selection was extensive; I rarely see cold brew at hotel buffets, and the quality of everything was top-notch. Before leaving, I even picked up a package from the Hive smart locker in the small garden in front of the lobby. Unfortunately, I had to catch a high-speed train, so I didn't have time to try out the hotel's gym.

Absolutely fantastic, an amazing experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming. The view is absolutely incredible. This room is super spacious, like something out of a painting. Just look at that view! Although it's an older hotel, this room is truly exceptional value. Everything is so proper and well-organized. As soon as I got out of the car, someone took my luggage, and the service was so attentive. They even gave us a souvenir when we left. Just got off the plane and had to leave a review right away!

## Facilities: Although the interior facilities are a bit dated, they come with up-to-date features like electric curtain openers. ## Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and pool staff) were all very enthusiastic and responsible, offering me a lot of help. However, some corners and edges could use improvement, such as the large water stains on the balcony. ## Environment: The environment is quiet. While the location isn't exceptionally unique, it's convenient for getting to the train station and Dianchi Lake, and it's very peaceful for sleeping at night. ## Service: All the staff were very hardworking and enthusiastic. Thank you for all the help during my stay. We had two children, and they even gave them a hot spring ticket and a souvenir. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a family trip to Kunming.

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

The room was incredibly comfortable for sleeping, pitch-black and very therapeutic! The hotel's decor and the room itself were meticulously designed, full of thoughtful details that showed great care. The cleaning staff were very polite and provided excellent service! I'd also like to specifically commend a few hotel employees: Andy, Satomi, and Isabel. They were all humble, warm, and great at problem-solving, with a strong service-oriented mindset. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard!
