The laundry service was professional and detailed, effectively removing stains. The staff were warm and attentive; check-in was quick and efficient, and they patiently resolved any issues. "Stayed here for a midnight check-in during my Yunnan trip and had a very pleasant experience. The lady staff at the reception was very helpful, polite and welcoming even though I arrived very late.
The hotel is very new, clean and comfortable. Room size was surprisingly big and spacious. Location is also convenient, especially being near the train station which made travelling much easier.Would definitely stay here again."

AAnonymous UserThis trip was a last-minute decision. I booked the hotel after 1 AM and was pleasantly surprised after landing and checking in. As someone who pays close attention to hotel details, especially since Kunming is always just a layover during my trips to Yunnan, I have to say Papman is truly amazing. First, the service: I received a fresh flower basket upon check-in, and the hotel butler was incredibly attentive, responding promptly to all my requests. They even sent a freshly made cake for our wedding anniversary, which was delicious and high-quality. Second, the room amenities: The vanity had a full box of soft facial tissues, makeup remover wipes, mouthwash, and laundry detergent. There was a Dyson hairdryer, and the shower had a dry/wet separation with push-button controls. Third, the hotel's decor: Every step revealed a beautiful view, and there were multiple tea rooms available for guests to use for free. The rooftop on the third floor offered spectacular photo opportunities. Walking around the hotel at night, I was delighted to see the shadow of a deer cast by the镂空灯 (镂空灯 - 'cut-out' or 'pierced' lamps). Fourth, the food: We received complimentary afternoon tea with tasty desserts, and the late-night snack selection was extensive, including rice noodles, fried potatoes, 'bao jiang' tofu, and grilled skewers. The salted peanuts, especially the Yunnan 'xiaohua' black peanuts, were excellent; I immediately asked if I could buy a can to take home. All in all, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Kunming!

GGuest UserI was lucky enough to choose this guesthouse for two nights on this trip. The courtyard is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit out there and have a beer after a day of sightseeing. The owner's coffee is also delicious. The room facilities are pretty good for a guesthouse, and it was kept very clean. The guesthouse is located right by Dianchi Lake, so it's convenient for a stroll. Our Luoyuhe room was a bit small, and storage space felt a little cramped; I should have booked an upstairs room. Everything else was great, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kunming.

We originally booked a 60-square-meter hot spring king room with a terrace and breakfast. To our surprise and delight, the hotel kindly upgraded us to an even larger room free of charge.
The upgraded room was incredibly spacious. Besides the bedroom, it featured a separate living room, a large balcony, an enormous bathroom, a jetted tub, and a private sauna. The moment we opened the door, we couldn't help but exclaim, ”This is huge!”
The room's design heavily incorporated wood, complemented by high, distinctive ceilings, creating a strong resort vibe. Our favorite areas were the balcony and living room; they felt incredibly open and were perfect for simply relaxing, enjoying tea, or chatting.
After a soak in the jetted tub in the evening, followed by a session in the sauna, all the day's fatigue just melted away. This setup far exceeded our initial expectations.
The hotel's service also deserves praise. While a free upgrade isn't mandatory, it's these extra touches that make guests feel valued and cared for.
The biggest takeaway from this stay is that we booked a hot spring room but unexpectedly enjoyed a suite-level experience. From the room size and facilities to overall comfort, everything was exceptionally satisfying.
I would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation.

**Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied.
**Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees.
**Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip.
**Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again.
**Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service.
**Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers.
**Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.

GGuest UserThe Four Points by Sheraton is one of Marriott's mid-range, practical brands. While the hotel's view isn't particularly special, its amenities are very convenient, including a self-service laundry, lobby bar, and gym.
Although this hotel isn't in the absolute most central location in Kunming, the city isn't very big to begin with, so getting to the Old Street and Green Lake is still quite easy, about a 10-minute taxi ride.
Finally, what really stands out is its restaurant. Their breakfast, in addition to Western options, offers incredibly authentic local dishes. You'll find local specialties like potato rice, rice noodles, milky rice wine, and rolled noodles. Everything is prepared hygienically and tastes genuinely local, so there's no need to go elsewhere to experience local cuisine.
Overall, for a trip to Kunming, choosing this hotel is both affordable and convenient, and you'll have a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! Stepping out, you're right in the heart of the action with plenty of food options and shopping. The breakfast was good, with a nice Yunnan flavor. It's surrounded by attractions and various snack shops, and getting around by bike, on foot, or by taxi is super convenient. The only thing is, every single place seems to sell rice noodles. It's also surrounded by popular influencer spots and famous snack shops, but the set meals were too big to finish.

YYATTONGI stayed at Tuofeng for two separate trips, totaling 8 nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home in Kunming. The room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious – never felt cramped at all. The guesthouse's common areas are wonderfully expansive; I loved relaxing on the sofa during the day and enjoying the breeze on the rooftop at night. It completely lacked the formal feeling of a hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic. Right downstairs are Nanping Walking Street and Kunming Old Street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The subway station is just a short walk away, which made getting to the airport and high-speed rail station a breeze. A special thanks to the front desk staff – they lent me an umbrella when it rained, helped me call taxis, and gave me directions with so much patience. As a solo traveler, their kindness made me feel incredibly safe and secure. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

JJiechengxiaoxiongLocation is amazing! You can access the mall directly from the first floor, and there's a newly opened Mixue and MINISO nearby. Gin provided professional service and recommended that we stroll and eat our way along the old street, which was a great idea. The room assigned to us was also incredibly spacious! Getting a taxi to further places was also very easy. The bed was comfortable, and after a day of exploring, I fell asleep instantly. Definitely a must-recommend to friends!

GGuest UserThe owner upgraded me to a loft king room. The room was very rustic and had a unique Yunnan charm. Breakfast included rice noodles, soy milk, and various grains. The owner even came downstairs to pick me up. The location is about 790 meters from the old town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The conditioner was also really good!
