Kunming Hotels with Balcony

I was lucky enough to choose this guesthouse for two nights on this trip. The courtyard is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit out there and have a beer after a day of sightseeing. The owner's coffee is also delicious. The room facilities are pretty good for a guesthouse, and it was kept very clean. The guesthouse is located right by Dianchi Lake, so it's convenient for a stroll. Our Luoyuhe room was a bit small, and storage space felt a little cramped; I should have booked an upstairs room. Everything else was great, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kunming.

The location is incredibly convenient! It's just a 20-minute drive to the airport, and you can walk to MixC Shopping Mall and Donghua Farmers Market. Getting to Old Street takes only about 10 minutes by taxi, making it super easy to get around and explore. The room was spotless, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The soundproofing was much better than I expected. The staff were all so friendly and polite, always quick to help with any issues. The breakfast spread was also excellent, and the rice noodles were delicious. My stay was absolutely perfect!

I spent a long time choosing a hotel for our trip to Kunming because I wanted somewhere that would keep the kids entertained, but also be suitable for celebrating our wedding anniversary and a birthday. I chose this place primarily for the bathtub in this room type and its convenient location. However, once we arrived, I was truly impressed by how comprehensive the amenities are. From meals to entertainment, and catering to both children and adults, everything is taken care of. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive. The biggest surprise was the handwritten birthday card – in this digital age, a handwritten card really warms the heart. We booked two nights, and we didn't even leave the hotel for one of them; we spent the entire day there with the kids and never got bored. My children are already talking about coming back again.

Absolutely fantastic! The overall Chinese decor is elegant and charming, and there's a lovely, tranquil private garden perfect for a relaxing stroll. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. There's a parking lot right next door, and the soundproofing is great – it was incredibly quiet at night. The hotel is adorned with calligraphy and paintings, showcasing various collections, and even has a private tea room where you can enjoy tea and the views, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff are warm and polite. Highly recommend, I'll definitely bring my family here next time!

This hotel is nestled in the heart of Kunming's old town, and stepping out immediately immerses you in the vibrant atmosphere of its bustling streets and alleys. With countless shops, eateries, and street food stalls, it's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. The rooms are spotless, and the bathroom is clean and dry. Despite being in a lively area, it offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The front desk staff are lovely, kind, and attentive, always quick to respond. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant. This will be my top choice for any future visits to Kunming; I'll definitely be back.

To start with: it's been a long time since I've had such a satisfying experience. **Facilities**: This is a hot spring resort that's well-maintained despite its age. Villa 10 is perfectly situated, and the facilities are in excellent condition – not a single sliding door was out of order or stuck, which is quite impressive. However, it would be even better if the front door locks were upgraded. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, very satisfied. **Environment**: I walked all around the resort grounds; the scenery is beautiful. Beyond the expansive lake views, there's also a hidden gem of a pond with bald cypress trees. **Service**: Absolutely more than five points, more than five stars – truly perfect. The golf carts were available on call, and the turndown service was meticulous. A special thanks to Ms. Yang at the front desk for helping to coordinate our departure transfer, adding another wonderful touch to our trip. **Afternoon Tea Experience**: The taste was exquisite; I even worried I might never find such delicious pastries elsewhere again. **Airport Transfer Service**: The transfer car was good, and the driver was skilled and provided thoughtful service. **Outdoor Garden Hot Spring Experience**: The hot springs were great. The bathing area even thoughtfully provided a stool for seniors, though the lighting in the changing area was really too dim to see the locker numbers. **Food**: The food was also good. I really liked the mushroom and radish dish at dinner, and the roasted duck was unique. The breakfast rice noodles were outstanding! And the gulls loved the birdseed provided for them too.

This hostel in Kunming offers incredible value for money! The common areas are huge, and the terrace view is absolutely stunning. It's so comfortable to sunbathe during the day and enjoy the breeze at night. The place is cleaned very diligently, and the bedding is fresh and odorless. The staff at the front desk are all super enthusiastic and proactively recommend local snacks and travel routes. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and secure here!

Great location! very close to the metro and railway station. we arrived very late in kunming, the staff kindly waited for us, which we really appreciated. the room was clean and had all basic aminities. overall, fine for short stay.

Beautiful hotel. Bed was comfortable with full pillow selection! Bathroom had separate shower and bath tub. It is connected to a mall and easy walk to alot of wonderful food and shopping which was helpful when it was raining. We truly appreciated the desk staff. My husband had left an item on the train. They contacted the station on our behalf and helped to find it and arrange for us to pick it up. This was only a connection to our next destination but it was a welcomed stop. Definitely explore! We found the most wonderful bakery by walking aimlessly while enjoying the city views.

The rooms are really unique; we booked a Bai-style room that even came with a balcony. The guesthouse also has a lovely little courtyard, which adds to the great atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and enthusiastically recommended a lot of fun places to visit! Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back!!!
