This hostel is really great! It has its own restaurant that serves meals daily, and you can also order coffee or cocktails. The atmosphere is lovely, with an indoor cafe and outdoor seating. They even have daily activities – I was lucky enough to catch a folk music performance on Saturday! My room was pretty quiet, the bed was soft, and it had a small desk and good lighting. Plus, there are several toilets and bathrooms on each floor, so you can use the restroom and shower separately without waiting, which I found really convenient. Here, you meet travelers from all over the world: families on vacation, solo adventurers, some looking for friends, others keen to experience Chinese culture… People from all walks of life and corners of the globe connect through this hostel, sharing a brief, special encounter.

Good experience staying here. The staffs are kind and helpful, super convenient to get good food and nearby Kunming old street. I had great breakfast here. Doing laundry here, after set up for washing then just put a message to the helper, they will help to dry the clothes after washing and send to our room....super happy to stay here made my journey more enjoyable 😉

My stay here was fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and check-in was quick and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The natural light and soundproofing were excellent, really showing attention to detail. The hotel's environment was quiet and elegant, with complete facilities, and the location was very convenient for getting around. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit, highly recommended!

So glad I chose this hotel! Liruide Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Its location is fantastic, just a short walk from Cuihu Park (unlike many other hotels that claim to be near but are much further). There are also countless excellent restaurants and shops nearby, offering plenty of choices. The hotel itself is superb. Being on a high floor, the Sky Bar and restaurant on the 19th floor offer panoramic views of Cuihu Park and the beautiful cityscape of Kunming. If you book a lake view room, you can enjoy the stunning views of Cuihu Lake right from your room, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel's decor, with its strong contrast of classic black, red, and grey, feels modern, stylish, and tasteful from the moment you step into the lobby. I especially loved the ”ENJOY IT” neon signs in the lobby and restaurant; indeed, you can truly enjoy all the beauty Liruide has to offer. My room, though not large, was incredibly comfortable. The bedding ensured a good night's sleep. It was spotlessly clean, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water, draining super fast (many hotels struggle with drainage, but Liruide nailed this detail). The smart toilet was a nice bonus. While breakfast wasn't lavish, it featured local Yunnan specialties and was more than sufficient. A freshly made rice noodle roll with a generous topping of braised meat was the perfect way to start a day full of energy. What truly touched me was the friendly and thoughtful staff. After checking out, I had a video conference in the lobby, and a staff member specially lowered the lobby music volume for me and kindly brought a bottle of water. A huge thank you to Mr. Curry at the front desk for his meticulous service. Your kind and warm attention made us feel as comfortable and wonderful as if we were home, which is a rare treat for those of us constantly on the go. Oh, and the rose petal shortbread offered at check-in was absolutely delicious! The rich rose fragrance bloomed in my mouth with just the right touch of sweetness – unforgettable. For parking, you can drive onto the sidewalk, inform the front desk, and a staff member will immediately valet park your car. After a two-day stay, my experience was simply perfect. The next time I'm in Kunming for business, I'll definitely book here in advance to enjoy it all again.

The front desk staff, especially the young lady, had an amazing service attitude. Before we left, she even prepared a small gift for us. She was incredibly responsive to all our requests and even upgraded our room for free. The room design was very minimalist with a touch of Chinese style, and upon entering, there were fresh flowers and flower-shaped pastries, plus a tea set. We had a very comfortable stay. The only downsides were that the smart water dispenser wasn't very convenient; the cold water seemed to be tap water, making it less useful than a regular kettle. Also, some of the facilities were of average quality, like the drying rack which felt like it would collapse at any moment. The location was excellent, within walking distance to Cuihu Park, and the surrounding area was pleasant. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Great value for money! They even gave us complimentary fruit and snowflake crisps. The snowflake crisps were absolutely delicious – I asked about them and found out the hotel's own bakery sells them, so I bought some snowflake crisps and bread to take home, which was reassuring. The front desk service was warm and welcoming; they greeted us with smiles and check-in was very fast. The soundproofing in the room was also good, quiet at night, and I slept really soundly.

Traveling with my parents, we received a free room upgrade. The room was clean and complimentary fruit was provided. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was very patient and helpful. The hotel is very close to Cuihu Park and within walking distance of Kunming Old Street, which is incredibly convenient.

Really recommend this hotel! The location is excellent, close to Kunming Old Street, it is very convenient to travel by taxi and walk. The environment in the store is clean and refreshing, and the living is particularly comfortable. The bathroom feels great and the bath is smooth and convenient. Toiletries are disposable, health is guaranteed, and they are particularly safe to use. The front desk and staff are warm and friendly, the service is intimate and thoughtful, and the overall stay experience is particularly satisfactory.

Second time here! It's our top choice when bringing elderly parents and children to Kunming. Right outside the hotel, you have Cuihu Lake, Huangongdong Street, and Wenlin Street. The hotel service is also amazing. During the May Day holiday, it was raining, and the lobby manager and staff came out to greet us when we got out of the car – that really touched me. They even upgraded us to a larger room type. We'll definitely be back. Extended the stay for my mom and booked a photoshoot. Looking forward to it!

The location is fantastic, right off Exit C of Wuyi Road subway station – very noticeable. No stairs or hills to climb, which is a huge plus, as the most challenging part of getting around Kunming is often the subway transfers with all their stairs (Kunming's subway system is quite quirky!). If you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a taxi directly from Kunming Station; even with traffic, it won't take more than 20 minutes. Downstairs, there's a snack street, and a left turn leads you straight to the Flower and Bird Market and the old Nanping Street. Across the street is Kunming's CBD with all sorts of dining options. It's about a 30-minute walk to Cuihu Lake and the local market, and taxis are easily accessible from this location. Although the room faced the street and could be noisy with traffic during the day, it didn't disturb my sleep at night. Plus, I was usually out exploring during the day, so it wasn't an issue at all. The service was truly excellent. The front desk staff were lovely and gentle. There were many cleaning aunties, all of whom were friendly and greeted guests warmly. They're all very nice people. The disposable slippers were comfortable, warm, and thick. The towels were very clean, and the bottled water provided was Nongfu Spring. The bathroom layout was my favorite and the most practical I've encountered, with a spacious shower stall and plenty of hooks for clothes! The mattress was a bit too soft for someone who prefers a firm bed, but I still slept soundly these past few days. The duvet was also very comfortable. After washing clothes, the laundry service even folded them and put them in a bag for me, so I didn't have to retrieve them myself. Every morning, there was a coffee machine that ground fresh beans, and the freshly cooked rice noodles were delicious – I thought they were much better than the ones at Duanshi Xiaoguo. Upon check-out, I received a complimentary rose brown sugar souvenir, and they even offered bottled water for the road. My only complaints are that the elevator is incredibly slow, like a snail. You could probably climb the stairs faster than waiting for it. When doing makeup, the room lighting felt a bit dim, creating shadows that made it hard to see the true effect. Also, the exhaust fan button in the toilet – I'm not sure if it was just an issue with this room or if it's universal, but it didn't seem very effective, and I couldn't tell if it was even on when pressed.
