The front desk is very good, praise, this stay experience is superb, the environment is very good, just in the city center, to Kunming Old Street, Nanping Street is very convenient, the room is creamy overall, the design is high-end, the interior is quiet and not noisy, the lighting is soft, and the photo is very good. Clean and tidy, the bedding is clean and tidy, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, there is no smell, there is no dust in the corner, it is very comfortable to live, staying for three days, and the front desk will ask if you need to clean the room every day. The facilities are complete, the quality of their quilt is very good, the air conditioning effect is levered, there are sofas, clothes drying areas, projection, voice assistants, and switch lights without hands at all. The hotel is located next to Yuantong Temple, which is a pretty good location. It's about a fifteen to twenty-minute walk to Cuihu Lake. There are also many delivery options nearby. Being a new hotel, the environment is great, and it's very clean. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly nice! Ms. Wang at the front desk was particularly wonderful; she made me feel right at home. She'd enthusiastically ask about my plans for the day when I came and went, and even offered helpful suggestions. She's truly sincere and reliable. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming.

The location is fantastic! It's only 500 meters to Green Lake, and really close to all the popular tourist spots – you can easily walk or take an e-bike. Plus, there are tons of great places to eat nearby like rice noodle shops, cafes, clothing stores, and snack bars, but it's still nice and quiet. The hotel service was good, but it was a bit hard to contact the front desk since there's no phone in the room. The room itself was tiny; I could practically reach the toilet lid from the bed (don't worry, it was separated!). I guess a different room type would avoid sleeping right next to the toilet, haha! Overall, a great stay, highly recommended.

Five stars, highly recommended! This is an old, established state guesthouse in Kunming that you absolutely must stay at. Its heritage, views, and service are all top-notch. The location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. Open the French windows and you're greeted with lake views and weeping willows. In autumn and winter, you can even spot red-billed gulls. Yunnan University and the Yunnan Military Academy are within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the old city without much travel. The hotel's design was partly conceived by I.M. Pei, blending new Chinese style with retro Art Deco. The lobby's gilded lotus sculpture, rosewood carvings, and vintage staircase create an incredible ambiance. The gardens are tranquil and elegant, and every photo you take captures the unique, understated elegance of a historic five-star hotel. Service is gentle, understated, and perfectly balanced, never intrusive. Upon check-in, guests receive fresh flowers and welcome fruits, and the room is refreshed daily with Yunnan-style floral arrangements. Turndown service includes peach gum and white fungus soup, along with seagull-shaped cookies – thoughtful details that truly shine. The 24-hour butler service is on-call, and staff members politely greet guests, always professional and sincere. The room comfort exceeded expectations. The bedding is soft and plush, and the soundproofing is excellent. During the dry season, the whole-house humidity control system is a lifesaver, especially for those with allergies. The bathroom features a built-in TV in the bathtub and electric privacy glass. All mini-bar drinks are complimentary, and there's even freshly ground Yunnan small-grain coffee, adding a distinct local touch. Breakfast is served in the lake-view restaurant, offering a rich variety of authentic dishes, including freshly prepared Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, 'posu bao' (flaky steamed buns), and rose 'naiba Jiu' (a local milky wine). Dining by the lake creates an exceptional atmosphere. The accompanying heated pool is clean and uncrowded, perfect for relaxation. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is perfectly suited. Its century-old refined quality is irreplaceable. I will definitely choose Cuihu Hotel again on my next visit to Kunming!

The hotel environment is very clean, very French style, the giant screen audio and video movie effect is great, the location is very close to Kunming Old Street, a few minutes walk, shopping and eating are very convenient. Especially thanks to the front desk staff, when leaving the store, the razor fell into the hotel, because it is not convenient to go back to the airport, and also mailed it back for us. It is really attentive and enthusiastic. I highly recommend everyone to stay!

The room is clean and bright, the housekeeping is timely, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful. The lady at the front desk is friendly and efficient. Next to the hotel is a cross-bridge rice noodle shop, which has long business hours and is not expensive. This hotel is right in the city center, within walking distance to Green Lake and the zoo. Public transportation is convenient and fast. I will stay here again next time I visit Kunming.

The hotel boasts a great location, just minutes' walk from Cuihu Park and the Yunnan Military Academy, and only about ten minutes' walk from Duiyue Tower and Kunming Old Street. Free parking and breakfast are also provided, making it convenient for getting around and dining.

An older, 3-star hotel with somewhat dated facilities, but it's well-maintained, and the cleanliness and service are perfectly fine. It's suitable for a layover. The location is excellent, right in the city center with plenty of attractions and dining options nearby.

I have traveled to Kunming many times and visited all the famous attractions. This time I returned to Kunming, and I especially wanted to visit the former site of the Southwest Associated University and the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall. These two schools have produced numerous talents, many of whom are the backbone of the Chinese nation! Worth a look! Our hotel is located between the two schools, with convenient transportation, convenient and diverse food, warm service, and cheap prices. It is one of the most cost-effective hotels nearby.
