This hotel is in a 6th floor of 17 story tower. Small hotel. Rooms are very large, equipped with fridge. Very nice view with a large window. Room is very clean- very good hot water pressure in shower. I arrived at Kunming Bus Station from Airport. DD ride for 10 RMB to the hotel. The front office staff is so kind and they go out of their way to assist the guest especially foreigner guest- they always booked DD ride for me (because I do not have China SIM card). They even order a few things from Tao Bao for me (I paid then in cash). On the ground level many restaurant and convenient stores. There is even a grocery store in the basement level. Excellent place to stay. Excellent place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

Overall, the experience was great. The hotel location is convenient, the room is clean and tidy, the space is also quite comfortable, and the facilities are well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were both smooth. Generally speaking, it's suitable for both business trips and leisure stays, offering good value for money. I would consider staying here again next time I'm in Kunming, highly recommended!

The front desk service was incredibly attentive! I booked this hotel randomly for my trip, and overall, my stay was very comfortable. Check-in was quick; I didn't have to wait long. The front desk staff were down-to-earth, and communication was easy and pleasant. Any issues I brought to them were resolved quickly. The room looked simple, but the cleanliness was truly excellent; even the corners were spotless. The bedding was dry and fresh, making for a very reassuring stay. The shower had great water pressure, and the hot water came on quickly, which was really relaxing after a tiring day of exploring. The room was quiet, undisturbed by outside noise, leading to excellent sleep quality. The location was very convenient, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and it was easy to get a taxi. There weren't any fancy, unnecessary features, but everything essential was there, making it incredibly practical. Compared to many other places in the same price range, this hotel is genuinely straightforward and offers great value for money.

This place is located in a great location. There are malls just opposite which is great if you do not have plans and just want to hang around. Downstairs, there are various local food places which served good food. The hotel itself is located in k9 apartments, right next to Novotel Hotel. The reception messaged us on Trip.com on the day of our arrival to provide us with information on how to reach the hotel & the address to set in our Didi. As this was our last hotel before returning home, I honestly had alot of Taobao kuai di which the receptionist picked up for me patiently throughout all 3 days of our stay. I could not be more grateful esp when 1 of my package was sent to a place about 1.5km away from the hotel. They would wechat us on a daily basis to confirm if we needed housekeeping or if we needed any amenities. Within the room, there was a play room which my kids absolutely loved. They saw it as their private space and played inside on their own when the adults would busy. There was a washer / dryer located within the room which was so helpful. & a working fridge. We were provided with disposable coverings for the toilet bowl & bathtub and also toothbrush (including children’s toothbrush & bedroom slippers). The staircase to the loft was also safe with handrails and big enough steps to not fall / miss a step. Overall, I would definitely choose this place again if I visited Kunmin again.

Traveling to Yunnan for summer vacation, I randomly booked this hotel and was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff was very efficient and got me checked in quickly. My room was on the 22nd floor, offering expansive views of Kunming city. After a shower at night, I stood by the window for a bit – it was quite relaxing. The room was clean, the bedding was fresh, and there were no strange odors. I had some rice noodles at Wanda downstairs, then came back and put my clothes in the laundry room to wash and dry, packing them right after. I watched a movie on the projector; the picture quality was clear, and it was very comfortable watching from bed. Overall, it was definitely worth the price.

Overall very satisfied, the hotel is in a good location, it is very convenient to go shopping, it is convenient to clean, the product is very comfortable, the staff is very enthusiastic, help you stay, check out efficiency is very high, the facilities and equipment are also very complete, will choose this hotel.

The room was comfortable and the environment was quiet. The facilities were complete, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. It's not far from the subway station and parking was convenient, making transportation easy. The front desk staff was very helpful and reserved roasted sweet potatoes for us. There were also free fresh fruits and coffee in the lobby, which was a very thoughtful touch. I will definitely stay here again.

Overall, everything from the location and facilities to cleanliness, ambiance, and service was excellent. Regarding some negative online reviews and the issues they raised, I'd like to share my actual experience. First, the room is divided into three areas by two steps: the entrance/bathroom area, the tatami bed area, and the desk/washbasin area. This is actually a fun and interesting design. However, because of the two steps, it might not be suitable for people with mobility issues, especially the elderly. So, if you're traveling with seniors, be mindful when choosing a room. Another point is the blinds, which are made of a linen-like material. They match the room's decor perfectly, creating a cozy feel, which is nice. But they don't block out much light. All in all, considering the price, location (in the central Xishan District, also quite close to Wuhua District), and facilities, I think it offers great value for money.

I have to say, choosing Novotel Living over a hotel for our family trip was an incredibly smart decision. Here's my review: **Service:** This deserves a commendation first and foremost. The staff were available 24/7, ready to assist with anything we needed. When we first checked in, a bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working. After informing the front desk, it was fixed by the time we returned from dinner. The apartment has an induction cooker for heating food, and when we requested pots, bowls, and cutlery from the front desk, they were delivered immediately. The service was absolutely fantastic! **Facilities:** The apartment's facilities are brand new. The refrigerator, washing machine, and range hood are all Haier brand appliances, and all the bathroom fixtures are German Villeroy & Boch. The decor, construction materials, and furniture selection were also very thoughtful. Whether it was the sofa, chairs, or bed, everything was super comfortable! **Cleanliness:** Housekeeping cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day. Towels, laundry detergent, toiletries, and drinking water were replenished regularly, and if we needed more, they delivered it right away! **Location:** The hotel apartment is right outside Exit A of Fuhai Station on Metro Line 5. It's incredibly convenient, yet without the noise and traffic congestion of tourist areas. An excellent choice of location! What's more, we initially booked a standard family room, but they spontaneously upgraded us to a free loft apartment! It had independent bedrooms on two levels and two bathrooms, which my family absolutely loved. Thank you for this wonderful surprise!
