This stay was absolutely fantastic, I truly recommend it! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient during check-in. They even offered a free room upgrade, which instantly made my day. The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was super comfortable. What was most heartwarming was the complimentary breakfast – a great variety of options with fresh and delicious food. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the value for money is unbeatable. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose this hotel first for my next trip!

As a branded hotel, it's a decent, no-frills option for leisure or business stays, but it still falls short when compared to Atour. Given that it positions itself as an extended-stay apartment hotel, while the room size is good, the facilities and amenities are quite disappointing. For an extended-stay apartment hotel, the main needs are cooking and laundry. For stays of 1-3 months, the absence of an induction hob, a double-door refrigerator, and a separate washing machine is simply unimaginable. In Shanghai or Beijing, a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-kitchen, one-bathroom serviced apartment only costs around 15,000-20,000 RMB per month. Kunming's market capacity for this type of accommodation is only going to grow.

I was in Kunming for a business trip, and the hotel was very close to Tongde Square, making it convenient for getting around. The room was clean and spacious, and it was very quiet at night. The hotel front desk staff were also very patient. I would definitely stay here again next time and would recommend it to friends who are traveling for business or leisure.

The area also felt very safe and comfortable, even when going out at different times of the day. The loft itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to stay after a long day. One of the highlights of my experience was how helpful and responsive the host was throughout my stay. They made sure everything went smoothly and were always willing to assist whenever needed. I also want to mention the housekeeping staff, who were very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Their hospitality really added to the overall positive experience. Overall, this place offers comfort, convenience, and great service. Highly recommended, and I would gladly stay here again in the future.

This business hotel is a typical case of ”great location, but hardware lags behind.” It's ideal for those who need to be around Tongde and prioritize convenient transportation. However, if you have high expectations for facility quality and hygiene, you might want to reconsider. The location is its biggest advantage. It's about a ten-minute walk to Tongde Plaza and Baiyun Road subway station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and shopping easy. The hotel also has a free parking lot, which is a plus for those traveling by car. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff's attitude was neither overly enthusiastic nor neglectful. However, the shortcomings in the stay experience are also quite noticeable. Arriving around 2 PM, well past the usual cleaning time, I found a large bag of trash left behind the door when I opened it, indicating a clear oversight in the housekeeping's final checks. The room was not large, with a compact layout, leaving limited space after luggage was placed. The hardware showed significant signs of aging: the wall outlets were visibly worn, with yellowed and loose plastic casings, clearly indicating their age. The metal shelf by the sink was already rusty, suggesting a lack of attention to detail in maintenance, which falls short of the brand's positioning. Additionally, during my stay, people often rang the doorbell in the evening. While this was likely caused by outsiders mistakenly pressing the wrong bell and not entirely the hotel's fault, it did disrupt the peace and quiet of the stay. Overall, its strengths are the location and value for money, with prices being mid-range in the Tongde area. If you're looking for a short-term stay and aren't particular about the age of the hardware, this place is an option. However, if you value hygiene details and room quality, there are better choices at the same price point.

I picked this for the 24/7 desk bc I was coming in from a late international flight of 2 am. I called beforehand to let them know and checkin was super easy. Room was compact but comfortable and modern. I had an issue with the outlet in my room charging my American device and texted the front desk about it and she brought a plug for me that worked for my device. Se also said there’s no need to buy a converter as most places will have the American plugin. She was super helpful and sweet! I also asked for a late checkout of 3 pm instead of the 2 pm checkout and they were also fine with that. The 2 pm checkout was already really great compared to most hotels checkout of 11 am. The only thing is the hallways were super smoke-filled. I also picked this hotel bc it had nonsmoking rooms and the room was not as smoky as in the hallways but there was a tinge of it. I’m not sure if any other hotels would be better though bc people smoke so much here.

The hotel's environment is excellent. This was my first time in Kunming, and the new hotel has great facilities and comfortable beds – I especially loved the pillows! The breakfast included local specialty rice noodles, which were quite tasty. Last night, I had an important remote video conference, and the owner even took me to the hotel's meeting room. The gym was right next door, so after the meeting, I went for a quick workout, which was a great experience! For this price, it really has everything you need. The laundry room is also good. The value for money here is so much better than in Shenzhen. Kunming left a great impression on me. Oh, and I really liked the rooftop design – it has ancient-style pavilions and lotus flowers. Kunming Plaza is nearby, and the night view is also lovely.

This was a truly delightful surprise! Honestly, I've stayed at most of the hotels near Tongde, and this one definitely exceeded my expectations. It's very new, super clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast spread was quite good too, and they were constantly replenishing items. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. This will probably become my go-to place from now on. Parking and EV charging are also very convenient, as the hotel has a huge parking lot, and there are plenty of street food vendors and local shops nearby.

The hygiene of the hotel room is very good, very neat and clean. The hotel service attitude is also very good. The facilities are relatively complete. It is really a cost-effective hotel. Highly recommended👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My family stayed for two nights during the Dragon Boat Festival, having stayed there once before. This time, the experience was poor. First, the hygiene was terrible; there were bloodstains on the sheets and blankets. We reported this to the hotel, and they addressed it, but the rating had already been lowered. The hotel offered two breakfast vouchers as compensation, but the breakfast itself was also very poor, with limited variety and mediocre taste. We won't choose this hotel again. As a chain hotel, Lavande's experience is quite different from other hotels. I suggest everyone consider this carefully before making a choice.
