This guesthouse boasts an excellent location in a high-end villa complex near the Battery Seawall. The complex itself is beautiful. You can cross the street from the complex to feed the seagulls, and the hotel even provides free bird food. The guesthouse is exceptionally clean and tidy, with a very modern, tech-savvy feel. The projector is high-definition, perfect for casting movies. The owner is incredibly welcoming, offering a fruit platter and white fungus and red date soup upon check-in. They also recommended a delicious cross-the-bridge noodles place, which was a very thoughtful touch. Plus, there's free underground parking available. I highly recommend staying here!

I had so much fun that I forgot to take pictures, but purely from a guesthouse perspective, I think it was a really great experience overall. Picture 1 is a dish I made with my sister's guidance. Picture 2 is me sitting in the courtyard on the second day, enjoying a barbecue and feeling very relaxed while looking up at the lights. The service was excellent; they felt like a genuinely kind family. When I used the kitchen, the proprietress kept helping me out. We could also chat with them during meals and ask for travel advice. The next day, we joined them for a barbecue and had a couple of drinks. They live very happily, and we really enjoyed this sense of unfamiliar intimacy. It was fantastic!

Great location in a quiet villa area, close to the metro and walkable to Park 1903 (about 30mins on foot), Yunnan Villages and the Dianchi Lake. The best room is 303 with a private terrace that gets sunlight all day. The girl that runs the front desk / WeChat account is very kind and helpful. The cleaning staff are also very kind. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see a cute resident cat in the lobby.
