Hotels in Railway Station Area, Kunming

This hotel has a very modern decor, which is a shame because it's right next to a main road. It was incredibly noisy at night, making it hard to sleep with all the traffic. The worst part was being woken up by those loud motorbikes. The room itself felt a bit dated, and I noticed quite a few imperfections that made me a little uncomfortable. The hallway was also quite dim, which I wasn't a fan of. Service was just okay; the front desk staff were rather formulaic and unremarkable. I also found a large bag of *cough* 'adult' items in the room, which made me blush a bit – I guess I might have misunderstood the hotel's vibe. I wouldn't really recommend it for tourists.

This is my second stay at the Goodview Hotel, and I'm once again impressed by their service and attention to detail. The location is incredibly convenient, whether you're driving or taking the subway, flying or arriving by high-speed rail. **Facilities:** The environment is elegant and clean, and the bedding quality is excellent. All facilities are well-maintained, and the hotel lobby is beautiful and perfect for photos. **Service:** The front desk staff are professional and meticulous. Check-in and check-out are handled quickly and efficiently, and any requests are promptly addressed. **Room:** The suite's window view has always been my favorite reason for choosing Goodview. You can see the distant skyline and a panoramic view of Kunming city – a wonderful experience without even leaving the room. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and functionality. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. Appreciated the complimentary airport pickup service with special thanks to Mr Wu, our driver for his professional service. We especially enjoyed the wide variety of breakfast options and the complimentary sweet night soup, which was a delightful touch to end the day. A special shout-out to 啊黑哥小万, our driver, for his professionalism and hospitality. He took good care of us throughout our day trip in Kunming, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

Pretty good! The room was spacious and the bed was huge. The view from the window was charming and the soundproofing was excellent. The only downside was that multiple hotels shared the same elevators, but the value for money completely made up for this drawback. Recommended!

The five-star king room experience was perfect! The room was spacious and clean, the king bed was incredibly soft and comfortable for sleeping, the bathroom had a separate shower and tub, and amenities were complete. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Highly recommended! It truly lives up to its five-star standard. The space is grand and open, the bedding is soft, and soundproofing is excellent. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view. Every detail is meticulously handled, making for a super comfortable stay.

I loved the place. The location is pretty convenient to get to all major attractions. There is also a relatively big 24/7 convenient store on the first floor and dome places to ear nearby. The room is spacious- I especially loved high ceilings. But the best thing is a tea-place with panorama windows- it is really lovely to have a rest at this place, overviewing the city and mountains. The service and breakfast are also quite nice. I enjoyed the cosmetics and tea offered by the hotel - really good staff. The cleaning service was very decent - daily refills of mini-bar and tea, throughly washing and vacuuming, towels change. I would really love to stay here the next time I visit Kunming

This hotel is located near the old street, within walking distance! The service is excellent! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! The free breakfast was also delicious 😋, just like in the pictures. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Kunming!

This hotel is really Amway! 🛏️ The bedding is clean and comfortable, the toiletries are also carefully selected, and the details are controlled with ecstasy. The small table in the living room is equipped with a sofa, and it is super comfortable to drink tea and chat.～ The garden flower art on the second floor is too stylish, and the photos are absolutely perfect. The service is intimate, the facilities are complete, the bean is printed, the chess and card are all, and the living is as safe as going home. The treasures close their eyes and rush! !

I had a great time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent and conveniently close to everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed me to check in early as soon as my room was ready, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Although the building itself looks a bit old from the outside, the rooms are renovated and feel modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the noodle dishes, which were definitely a highlight for me. Another thing I appreciated was how easy and worry-free it was to receive my Taobao deliveries. The hotel helped store my packages safely until I collected them, which made online shopping very convenient during my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

The soundproofing in the room was average; I could still hear car horns from the street late at night. The location is excellent, close to the station, and there's a supermarket downstairs. The front desk lady was also very sweet and recommended nearby attractions. I didn't get any room photos, so here's a pic of a jacaranda tree nearby instead.
