The old-fashioned architectural texture and vintage soft furnishings exude a quiet elegance without feeling heavy or dated. The blend of retro and modern is just perfect!!! The room details are thoughtfully done, and the comfort level is completely on point. The staff service is also excellent!!! That attentive, considerate touch unique to older, established hotels!!!!! The inn is very close to Kunming Station. The room was clean and cozy, and I slept comfortably at night. Most importantly, the price was affordable, offering great value for money.

Location is near to Kunming train station. First time encountered a hotel that shared with more than 10 hotels in a building si elevator may have cigarettes smell. Service staff, Ming Yu Li, is awesome! She’s super friendly and picked us up from the train station in the middle of the night by foot and we walked back together and brought us umbrellas as it was drizzling. She helped us booked “didi” via our app to the airport. Answered our queries when she’s on duty. The other staff were very rude, as though we owed them when we enquired from them the next day. The hotel is located in Ring 2, which makes it very convenient to travel to Ring 1, where major shopping activities happened. Transport is also very convenient, using didi will get car within seconds. Going to major attractions like the stone forest and Jiuxiang is also convenient. The room that we got is very spacious, bedroom and living room is separated where bedroom is on the top floor.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn Kunming. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family of four. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station, making it a great choice for travelers catching an early morning train. A special thank you to Harriet and Amy at reception. We had some issues with a food delivery order, and they were quick to assist and follow up until everything was sorted out. Their helpfulness made our stay much smoother. The hotel also has good self-service laundry facilities, with washing machines and dryers that worked very well, a big plus for families and longer trips. There are plenty of good food options nearby too. We found a great local restaurant just a 5-minute walk from the hotel and have included a photo for reference. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and a very convenient location. We would gladly stay here again.

There was even a small sofa by the window, perfect for chilling with my phone at night – so comfortable! The cleanliness details were top-notch! As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a faint scent of disinfectant. The sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed, and even the hangers and bathrobes smelled like they'd been sun-dried. I felt completely at ease staying there! Getting around was super convenient! There's a bus stop right downstairs, and the subway entrance is just a 10-minute walk away. It's super close to all the attractions and shopping districts, which is perfect for us 'walking warriors'! For this price, you absolutely have to book this place! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!
