If you go to a ski resort, you can stay here. But to go to the Kusatsu hot spring attractions, it is recommended to have a car. After paying the room fee, other items in the store must be paid for at your own expense. If there are other options, I will not choose here again.

The hotel owner was sincere and polite. Although he didn't understand English, he was very attentive and used a translator to explain and communicate with us. The breakfast provided by the hotel is good. It is a traditional Japanese breakfast. It is comfortable to eat in the restaurant with Japanese benches. The location is good, just a minute or two away from Kusatsu Onsen.

The location is perfect, right on the main square. But this ryokan doesn’t ready for foreign travelers, even Signboard only in Japanese. Workers doesn’t speak English also. And there is no kayseki dinner. In the room you’ll have matcha tea and beautiful tableware, traditional clothes. For breakfast you should choose time 7:30 or 8:30 and it’s so big (2 photo), but for me was very salty. There is two onsen - outside and inside on different floors.

Location: Kuojin Hot Spring is very small, the homestay is very close to Tangyu, but if you pull your luggage from the bus stop to the homestay, it will be very inconvenient, and it has always been uphill. You can pick up and drop off at TripAdvisor or Customer Service Union B&B; If you want to go to the station before 10 o'clock, you can take the bus at the entrance of the homestay.
